I have visited this dealership for service on 3 occasions and they are the most courteous, polite and knowledgeable people. The work is great and they always wash and vacuum my car for free.Jenny Buchanan is particularly helpful and always so cheerful even at 7:30 am5 rating for Jenny

We traded in my wife s 2019 CX-5 for a new 2022 CX-9 Carbon Edition. Our salesman Rahleak Restrepo was the best! I did my research and went to several other dealerships. I gave the payment my wife could afford and the numbers I worked out; which after a bit of negotiations we made a deal. He made the entire process easy and straight forward.After receiving the new car we found a few issues with the vehicle which service quickly took care of the next day. I ve always taken my wife s CX-5 for service here for 3 years and I ve always had a pleasant experience. Anyone that complains about waiting, they make it so simple to make an appointment so you don t have to wait or they will give you a loaner. The best is the record the work so you can see what they did with an explanation.

The service department has always been very good however when we first started bringing the car in here the building and service bay area was a little run down. A few years ago they rebuilt the entire place and now the service area is very clean and modern looking. The staff is extremely friendly knowledgeable and quick to get you in and out. We almost never have to wait for more than 5 minutes tops.

After taking my money, this dealership showed me no courtesy at all. They were very slow to send me my DC license plate and parking permit. And their "tag and title" department was useless and rude, sending me a misprinted parking permit, demanding proof when I told them of the problem, and then directing me to the DC DMV instead of solving the problem they created.

My goodness, this was the quickest and most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. I was in and out of the dealer in about two hours including test drive.I worked with Todd in Sales and Amin the Sales Manager. Todd was super professional and never pressured me. When I arrived, the car was out front and I was test driving it within minutes. Todd was extremely friendly and low key and went through the features of the Mazda 6 while patiently answering all of my questions.The experience felt more like I was chatting about a car with a fellow enthusiast, rather than a sales person. Of course, I decided to buy the car and that's when Amin worked quickly and professionally to establish all of the paper work. He is also an extremely kind person and I enjoyed interacting with him greatly.I just could not believe I had found the exact car I was looking for, and was able to complete the purchase with zero hassles. Granted, I came in prepared, which I recommend to anyone ready to purchase.Here's the best part, this particular dealer has an agreement with the MVA and can produce a registration and permanent plates on the spot! That's right, I already have my registration and it means I do not have to drive around with temporary tags. I have never seen this before and it was just the icing on the cake.So thanks Todd and Amin for going above and beyond. One week in, and I am loving the car like crazy.

I ordered a car in June and waited FIVE MONTHS for it to be delivered. Now that it's finally delivered after five months it turns out they ordered the wrong car!!!!!! They did not provide any explanation of how this can happen and what they can do to fix it. Extremely unprofessional. This dealership has left me helpless. Do not trust them.

We've bought several cars over 25+ years at Rosenthal Acura and the sister dealership Gaithersburg Mazda and have had excellent purchasing experiences each time. We had bought a new 2015 Mazda 3S, which we really enjoyed, but last summer decided to buy something a little bigger for carrying bikes and traded it in on a low mileage 2016 Mazda CX5. We purchased an extended warranty since the car was just out of factory warranty when we bought it but we got a good deal.Recently the CX5 had developed a noisy driver's seat mechanism and the Navigation screen would not function in cold weather. I did some research and found Technical Service Bulletins for both issues, so I made an appointment to have them looked at. Angela was very helpful taking my information and setting up my appointment and Jake was my contact in the service department. I showed him the TSBs and a copy of the warranty and he took it from there.Long story short, the warranty company at first turned down the coverage, but Jake went to bat for me and finally got it accepted. His efforts saved me almost $900. They even took care of a recall while I was there and the repairs were well performed by Jorge.Thanks Jake and Gaithersburg Mazda!

My car buying process was very easy from start to finish. Everything was explained thoroughly, and everyone I interacted with was kind, patient, and helpful. All my financing options were explained well and I was never pressured to make decisions quickly or when I wasn t quite ready. Buying a car as a solo woman can be extremely daunting, but everyone at Gaithersburg Mazda treated me extremely well and I felt comfortable and confident throughout the process. Rahleak was personable and efficient for the initial sale and explained the features of my new car to me thoroughly, and Amin was knowledgeable, honest, and efficient for the financing portion. I m extremely satisfied and would gladly recommend Gaithersburg Mazda to any prospective buyers.

My wife and I are shopping for two cars. A new luxury vehicle and a slightly used vehicle for our daughter. Based on recent advertising, we decided to cross shop a Lincoln Aviator to a Mazda CX-90. While the Lincoln dealership treated us very nicely, the salesperson at Rosenthal Mazda was immediately condescending and, based on some unknown criteria, decided we were not qualified to buy his cars. When I ask to test drive a CX-90, I was told, We don t just let anyone drive our cars . So what is the criteria to test drive a Mazda? Why do I qualify to test drive a Lincoln, Tesla, and BMW but not a Mazda? Bottom line, this is a very low-end dealership with a sleazy salesman who prejudges people based on some unknown criteria. Don t bother shopping here when there are other dealers that are happy to have your business!

I have bought multiple cars at different dealerships, And I have to say I had the best experience in this one. I visited multiple times to see the car and Rahleak helped me every time. I found the same car at a different dealership, but Rahleak and the sales manager Amin both helped me get the best deal. Amin during the paperwork process took his time and explained every document before I signed. Which to me was very transparent. I have gone to other dealerships and they add multiple stuff to the sale and if you don t pay attention they eat you alive, but Amin was different I will strongly recommend to visit this Mazda location if your are in the market for a Mazda. Very helpful, no sales pressure. Thank you to the both of you. I will sure come back to get my next vehicle from this dealership.

Had an overall amazing car buying experience here. Wife and I added a Mazda to our fleet and could not have been happier with the staff here. Our salesman Joe was super helpful and kind. He had the car we wanted to see waiting for us out front. The negotiating process was pretty easy and at no point did I feel like we were being pushed or forced into anything. Unfortunately the car market is so hot right now there is not much wiggle room, but that's just economics. The sales manager Amin was the best manager at a dealer I've ever worked with. In previous experiences they push you so hard for every little extended warranty or service plan, Amin explained them once, asked if we were sure, then understood our decision not to buy them. He also was very generous and helpful in letting us work with our own financing institution. Honestly this was one of the best car buying experiences I've had.

This experience was on another level honestly. I had an appointment for my 5k service on MX-5. Got there a few hours early and service.had everything ready to go with my paperwork pulled up. After dropping the car off I received a text message with a video link, that's a first I know Mercedes, BMW and Audi don't even do that because I've serviced those vehicles at their dealerships. The video showed my car, what was being performed, measuring brakes, tires and underneath the car with all components that are visible for leaks etc. This is an excellent idea and I didn't expect it.There is a really nice waiting room with comfortable seating and coffee while you wait. Mazda has gone upscale and it feels great!

10 out of 10, would recommend! Everyone there was extremely kind and willing to assist me with anything. Todd Patton is by far the best salesperson I have ever encountered. He was professional, yet personable at the same time, and went above and beyond to accommodate/help make the entire purchase process go as incredible as it did! Every single staff member there, from management down, were fantastic. They did an excellent job at explaining not just all of the aspects of the car, but all of the details surrounding the warranties and financing as well. They did all of this without making you feel pressured into buying a certain car, warranty, or financing the car! Mr. Patton and everyone at Gaithersburg Mazda didn't just want you to be excited about purchasing a new car, but they themselves were excited for you! It truly was the best car purchasing experience I have ever had! Thank you all so much for everything you did for me!

I had an excellent experience at this dealership recently (after having a very negative experience at Ourisman Mazda just down the pike). I arrived late on a Friday evening and purchased a new car the next day. The sales team -- Harpreet and Rahleak -- were great, and Amir walked me through all the financing in a clear and concise way. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the market for a new car.

UNBELIEVABLE. AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Most of the 5 star reviews here seem fake/fixed. Honestly, If I could give this place zero stars, I would. First off the whole place looks shady. I was planning on buying a Mazda CX-30 from this place. I told this old, heavyset Iranian pre-owned dealer that my budget was 25k - 30k and I was open to more depending on the car. When I asked to test drive, he said "it's a new car we don't want to put miles on it". Then when I insisted I wanted to buy it, he said "appointments only." I then told him I want to see a higher model worth 31k, and I want to see the interior. He said "look through the window" and went back inside the dealership and sat down. UNBELIEVABLY HORRENDUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. It's too bad because I was going to buy the car, but clearly this place doesn't want your business. AVOID this terrible business.

We had a great experience buying from these folks. We had done research online and said we wanted to compare two models. When we arrived, they were both parked next to each other out front, freshly washed. The salesman started by explaining and showing the differences between the models, then accompanied us, patiently, on two test drives, then a repeat to verify our pick. No BS on the pricing -- they have a no-haggle policy.They wanted our used car; we said we were planning to sell to CarMax down the street. They said go get a price from them and they'll meet it less some small fee. They did.This was the easiest car-buying experience we've ever had. We'll be back.

Service center has been remodeled and it looks amazing. Free coffee, big TV's, ample sitting room, and free car wash at the end. The most impressive part was the video I received in my email afterwards from my mechanic taking me through everything they inspected on my car. Have you ever wondered if they really did all those things that they say they do during your service visit? Well, now you have proof in video form. Gaithersburg Mazda is really miles ahead of other service centers I have visited in this area.

Avoid this dealer if you want a fair price, even given the current market. Perhaps the BBB should look into this business practice.I currently own a Volvo and was looking for a second car for someone else. Arriving at this dealership, no one was in the parking lot, it looked closed, which was odd. We found a salesman. Initially the salesman, on August 13, 2022 around 10:45am, was kind. However, after test driving the 2019 CX-5 TOURING and speaking with him about price, his behavior became arrogant and condescending. He wanted $30,000+ for this used Mazda. Out the door would have been over $34,000. We told him the price we wanted to pay which was way less than what he offered (side note: we had just came from Mazda Rockville who were asking $27,000 for a 2019 CX-5 GRAND TOURING) You can see why we were displeased with the offer. The Grand Touring is the top trim level. We asked to negotiate...he came back with $200 discount for the 2019 Mazda CX-5 Touring. I asked him why his used Mazda is priced like a used Volvo with same price and he wanted me to explain what features a Volvo has that a Mazda doesn't...Anyone that knows cars knows that this is an asinine question. You get the point. His comments about the difference between a luxury car vs a Mazda was an outlandish statement. You lost a sale for a car that has already been sitting on the lot for a month. Enjoy your overpriced Mazda.In response to owners comment: we were willing to come up to 25k, however, your salesman was unwilling to negotiate at all. 200$ discount is not a negotiation by any means. That s sad on your part. There are other Mazda Tourings at $23,000. Therefore your response is invalid and actually does not hold up.

I just bought a CX-30 and the entire experience was fantastic. I started before the car was available (it's a new model) and dealt with Todd Patton. He was very helpful but not pushy. He tailored his contacts to my preferred (email) method and kept me updated on when the model would be available. Once they were in, we had a test drive and he handled the purchase. Of the seven cars I've bought over 2 decades in 3 different states, this was the most pleasant experience yet. Todd was a big part of that, and I highly recommend the dealer and Todd in particular if you are considering a Mazda! :-)

After multiple attempts to allow them to fix the problems, it is time for a review. I bought a car from these guys and while I love the car, I didn't love my experience with the sales team.Joe was my salesman and he was super nice but he wasn't honest. I needed a new car because mine was totaled and so I was in a rental. After deciding to buy the new car from Joe, he told me I could leave the rental there because they had arrangements with Enterprise. I asked him if I needed to fill up the tank because it was lower than when I had gotten the car. Joe assured me that wasn't necessary because when returning to a dealership things are different. He also promised a gift card for gas because the car I bought was almost empty and it was too late in the evening to fill up.A few days later I got a bill from Enterprise for not having enough gas in the tank... I sent it to Joe and he said there was nothing he or his managers could do and he was sorry for the "misunderstanding." I also let him know multiple times over several weeks that I had not received the gas card I was promised. It is now 4 months after purchasing the car and I still have not seen this gas card.It took a lot of negotiating to get a fair price on the car, I don't feel like I got a "great" deal and this nonsense with the gas is enough to tip me into the "will not return" category for this place.

Incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL experience. End of June I purchased my first vehicle (used). Everything went fine, but received a check in the mail with vague description and no communication from the dealer in July. First time buying, so assumed there was a miscalculation with the DMV. End of August still hadn't received my license plates. I emailed and got a voicemail several days later telling me there was an issue at the DMV and I would have register the car myself once I fix the violation. I take responsibility for my part in not asking what that check was for, but and the end of the day I paid a lot of cash for this car and they are in the service industry. The least they could've done was followed up with a phone call when they couldn't register my car. With COVID, appointments are at least 3 months out so I called both the dealership and the person who left a voicemail to ask for help and didn't receive a call back. I regret purchasing this car from here. Despite the DMV and communication issue, the car sales man was not sensitive to the fact this was my first car purchase and basically made me feel stupid for valuing KBB. Overall, could've been worse, but I didn't appreciate their ultimatum tactic, scaring me out of looking at other dealers before I decided or else their deal was off the table.It's been almost 2 weeks since I've called for help with my car registration and no help. Please take this feedback and improve for customer service!!!!!!!

In the market for a Mazda, called to inquire about an MX-5 with or without Recaro seats and had the worst customer service from Rahleak. If you are not ready to buy in the moment, No help. Happy to take my business elsewhere. Thanks for saving me a trip.

Very pleased with the service Harry, and his team provided. I brought my Mazdas in for recalls & firware update.They did any routine inspection, and recommended some work to be done. Besides that they we're honest, and didn't take advantage of my mechanical knowledge. I know I wasn't the easiest customer to deal with, but they got the job done. Will definitely continue to keep bringing in my cars for routine service. Thank you MAZDA SERVICE TEAM!!!

I walked into the dealership without expectations. Sri was beyond amazing - his patience, professionalism, knowledge and friendliness blew me away! It was not your typical pushy car sales experience. Sri listened to my needs and worked to get the price where I needed to be without being pushy.The staff at the dealership was very friendly as well, making my overall experience an extremely positive one.I highly recommend visiting this dealership if you re in the market for a Mazda.

I rarely write reviews but I had a great experience at Mazda Gaithersburg specially with the sales gentleman Joe. If you want a good experience and no sales pressure you have to check this place out and ask for Joe. I found him to be very positive and uplifting. I m leaving this review despite the fact that I ended up not buying a Mazda. I found the management team to be reasonable as well.
