Unless you have a half a day of free time and happy to pay twice as usual for a simple flat tire, do not go there please! Yesterday, After showing on time for an appointment - got a flat tire - they told me it will take "one hour and half" because they are busy. I accepted and came back after one and half hours; however, my car was still there untouched - not even taken to the garage yet! After reminding the front desk about it, he told me they are going to take it in now and will be ready in 45 min! Really! what is the appointment for then? And why did not you tell me that you are going to start working on my car 90 min after the appointment time?Add to this messy scheduling and dishonesty, they charge almost twice the regular price. In my intake paper he put $63 for a flat tire repair! Just do not go there, period. I took mine to the next garage, 4 min down from them and got it fixed right away.

Amazing customer service and experience. The manager was very helpful in explaining everything without sounding condescending or rude. The price for the service was equitable to market place and I was very pleased with the promptness with which they took care of my car. Would certainly recommend.

STAY AWAY! Incompetent staff will waste your time and do damage to your car.I had 4 new tires installed here. I had an appointment for 10 am. They did not even take the car to the back much before 12 pm. There were people there who obviously just showed up with a flat tire without an appointment and I got slotted in behind them. What is the point of an appointment if they just put you at the end of the line behind walk-ins when you show up for it? This is a recurring theme in other reviews.While the car was on the lift in the shop, I noticed that there was not sufficient clearance between the bottom of the car and the lift arm. When I got the car back, I noticed that the lift damaged the car and put a dent in the plastic trim that runs along the bottom edge. I complained but the shop would take no action. I was told to contact their corporate office (Monro, Inc.) to file a claim. They gave me a 1-800 number to call.I left, but I had to return immediately because the low tire pressure warning came on. I stopped to check the tires. One of them was visibly running very low on pressure. Three of the tires had no valve caps.I called Monro a couple days later only to find out that the number I was given is no longer in service. I called the customer service extension number the corporate office displays on their website. Guess what! It is not a valid extension . These people really don t want you to speak to them!I finally did manage to talk to the corporate office. (Make note of the correct extension: 1035. Chances are you gonna need it!) I talked to a rep who said they will forward my case and someone will be in touch. Nothing. I called again. They asked if the tire shop started a claim. (What?!? They could have started a claim instead of sending me on a wild-goose chase?) I was transferred to the claims department where my call was sent straight to voicemail. The announcement promised a call back in 24 hours. Nothing for a week. I called one more time. Needless to say, I never got a call back.Perhaps the most absurd thing happened when I called for the third time. I wanted to have some proof that I contacted them so I was recording the call. When I told the customer service rep that I was doing so, I was told that they would not talk to me then. What?!? Why? THEY ARE recording the calls. They announce that when the call is answered. So why can t I record the same conversation?Mistakes can be made, I guess. But it is not that the shop failed to do even the most basic things correctly that I find revolting. It is the extremely poor customer service experience in the shop and in the corporate office. By the way: please don t reply to my review with your standard copy-paste message Please give us a call toll-free We would like to get more details and provide further assistance. No, you wouldn't.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND MR. TIRE!!!I was checked in very fast, the wait to get my car fixed was about 2:30 hours, received my car and Alignment wasn t done properly (the car was pulling to the right) brought it back (the guy from the front desk drove the car and confirmed what i had experienced) 2:30 hours later they gave me the car back without driving it, still with the same issue, at that point I couldn t spend more time and left next day I came in again hoping to get it fix, they had me waiting for another 2:30 hours and the car was not taken in to get checked, complained and requested a refund and it was denied left and went straight to Good year and we figured that poor alignment was done on the front wheels and no alignment was not performed on rear Reff: documentation provided to Customer Service of MONRO INC.You guys don t care about the customers safety or customers property such a bad experience!!!

My experience was amazing! I set my appointment online and the process was seamless. I needed tires and Stu (an employee) contacted me to tell me I needed struts. I was hesitant at first, but I came here in the past and I trust these guys. I agreed to the struts, and as soon as I got my vehicle back I could tell the difference. My car feels like a new car!!!! I am so happy!!!! Thanks!!

Usually going in this kind of place ( auto shop , retail, appliance place ) they try to upsale and try to make you buy new products but after trying other place ( looking at you Tire plus ) they said they wont fix it ( and also charge me for repair even though they didn't fix anything other than lift my car and look at it ) . I drove 5 min far and decided to go to MR tire . Price was relatively high ( 3x) compared to other place but this guys definitely did good job . They explained me the process and I was watching it they doing it so there was no bs and sketchy things going on . Chris did amazing job . Nice guy to talk and very patience with explaining things . Guy in front was also ok over all great experience. You pay premium you get premium I guessThank to you guysDefinitely will go to them for next auto repair or service

This place is a thief I do not recommend them. Why is there an extra charge for $615 after charging me $1k. DO NOT go to this place for service. You have been Warned! There are similar reviews on here and I am regretful for not checking the reviews before heading there.

Never again...Somewhere between the Rio Shopping Center and home, I got a screw in my tire. I googled some nearby places and chose Mr. Tire based on the star rating. But some of y'all lied.Upon arriving, I was told it would take an hour and a half for my tire repair. An hour and half for a patch? That was new to me. However, the place seemed busy and I was already stressed from the air hissing out of my tire, so I went with it.About an hour and a half later, a man came in saying he had something in his tire, could they look at it. He pointed to where he was parked and they pulled his car back immediately.I asked about my repair. "It's done," I was told as the man at the front fumbled around for the paperwork. Then we find it had not been touched. "Renee" had misplaced the paperwork and forgotten about it.Then another man came in for a patch repair and that was completed.Finally my car was pulled to the back.In the meantime, a man that had left and come back asked about his tire (it was loosened from the car already). He was informed that they only had one machine to fix tires so once mine was done his would be completed. ("Renee" has misplaced his paperwork as well.)One of the men working there thought it was funny to joke that my car wouldn't be ready today.About 10-15 minutes later, they came rolling around with the loose tire belonging to the other customer. All fixed up. When the man at the front desk asked what happened to my car, the technician advised that "Renee" told him to do the loose tire first.Luckily, I had my deep breathing techniques on hand to quell my rising anger.After another fifteen minutes, my car was finished. *Insert angelic singing here*. I was given a discount and I went to pay. Then the man at the front was called to the back mid-transaction. I could hear him talking about the scores from the game. I walked out and around and requested my receipt (WTH man).It was then that I was able to leave and get on with my life.Horrible customer service, horrible service times, and, apparently, horrible order system.Never again!!!P.S. I gave two stars since they did give me a discount and acknowledged their mistake. But I would never go there and waste risking my time again.

Not impressed. Made an appointment for four tires. You have to know what you want in advance. There is no tire showroom. I wanted to look at options and my option was, "I'll see if we have anything in stock or I'll order them" . Had a scheduled vacation so i got what they had, not what I really wanted. My 08:00 appointment got me out at 10:00. That only occurred because I stood there watching. Maybe it's only me, but coming from another state, I'm used to having "options" and being shown types and price ranges for tires. They really didn't care if I stayed or bought tires there.

The staff are friendly, skilled & always have great recommendations for service. When I have a breakdown - again the staff are clear about what repairs are needed &:always are accommodating concerning my time .. I've been a customer for over 15yrs & never have I complained nor needed to!!

Marcell always works on my car and my experience is always good. However the guy that checked me out when my car was ready was rude. I ve worked in customer service for over 10 years and you can t treat customers like that.

NEVER, NEVER here again! They gave me an appointment for 10:00 am to have 4 new tires installed. At 11:00 am they told me that they were short staffed and would not be able to get to my car until 12:00N. At 12:00 they took my car into the garage, took 3 tires off, and then did NOTHING for the next hour! At 1:15 they removed the fourth tire and started some work. At 2:00 pm they finished and pulled the car out. FOUR HOURS to do the job, and I'm not sure they got the balancing right! During that time I heard them try to up-sell every customer that came in on something. If I have to return to Mr. Tire, it will not be at this location!

Made an appointment 3 days ahead of time online where I was able to select the 4 new tires I wanted. Appointment was confirmed via email and text. Showed up for my appointment and I was told they don't have the tires I chose in stock. I asked why, since I made the appointment ahead of time. They said, well....... the reservation system isn't connected to the location inventory. Wow. Ok, that's stupid. But also, don't you check your appointments the day prior to see what's coming up and plan? Maybe could've called me to discuss. Nope. Cool. Ok, well, he tries to direct me to some other similar tires (more $$). I just happened to see an obscured buy 3 get 1 free flyer on the counter, so I asked. Oh, sure, ok, they can do that. Since I asked. Awesome experience so far. After being there for 1 hour 45 min, with no other cars being worked on, and only getting 4 new tires, they tell my daughter and me that the tire machine is broken and they can't finish the car. At 6:45pm. How did it take 1 hr 45 min to figure that you couldn't get the last 2 tires done?? Awesome. They didn't offer to get us a ride or anything - we walked home. Oh, but don't worry, he said he'd give us a discount. Today, go to pick up the car. No discount. So I recount the whole story to the new guy, he calls somebody, and he gives us 10% off. That's the value of our inconvenience and their ineptitude. Cool. I ask for the results of the courtesy 36 point inspection (I already know there will be findings becuase I know what needs addressed, I just wanted to know how urgent it would be). There are none. A 2007 Saturn Ion has 36 green/perfect scores on the inspection; not a single yellow or red. After the new tires, the steering is loose, the brakes are soft, and somehow they messed up a windshield wiper. Geez.Staff was always hanging out in the bays, even desk staff. Even when they could see me waiting at the front desk after entering the building.NEVER NEVER NEVER go here. EVER.

Like most car drivers, I became stressed when I learned I needed brakes and tires. We all know what that cost looks like, but then you wonder, Who can I trust? After researching options online, I narrowed it down to three (the third being my nephew, who is skilled, cheap, and willing but impossible to hold down long enough to complete the work). I ventured to Mr. Tire first and was greeted so genuinely by Stew. Stew (the front desk gentleman) went on to walk me back and forth to my car to ensure he understood what I wanted to do and that I understood what needed to be done. As I waited for my diagnostic, you could hear the mechanics laughing, so hinging and joking with each other (speaks volumes about management). My time at Mr. Tire ended with a satisfied customer - me and this review telling anyone in Gaithersburg to choose this Mr. Tire as your car solution period!

My husband David McCurdy was having serious problems with his brakes on his 2014 Honda Accord Sport. He knew he was losing brake fluid. He took his car to Mr Tire since they have an outstanding record with our household. They were excellent! Replaced a faulty caliper at no charge since it was still under warranty. Outstanding customer service and quality! I recommend them highly to friends and anyone who appreciates a good experience when your car is having problems.

Came in today for new tires and left feeling very secure and knowledgeable about my purchases. The employees in Mr Tire were patient and helped explain things my car needed! I also have some warranties that will help my car get through a couple more years!!! Thank you!!!

Called to setup a time to get new tires put on as I was working with a tight timeline, came when they said to. Upon getting here I was told it would be an hour and a half before they could start my car. At the 1:20 minute mark I asked if they were on schedule as I see my car sitting outside still. I was first in line and the employee knew I was frustrated but looked over my should to help the person behind me before telling me they would start in about 45 minutes. Thanks guys....

$1,200 and 4 hours for thermostat and temp sensor replacement I ve done both before myself for less than $200 and in under 2 hours I have mixed reviews about this place because I ve had quality work done here before, always when the short Spanish guy was manning the counter

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mr. Tires and I am beyond impressed with the level of service and expertise they provided. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, all the staff are true professionals, especially Stu and Emmanuel who specifically provided me service. They greeted me with a warm welcome and took the time to listen attentively to my concerns about my vehicle. Their attention to detail and willingness to address all my questions immediately put me at ease. They diagnosed the issue with my vehicle, explaining the problem and the necessary repairs in a way that was easy for me to understand. If you're looking for an auto service center that offers not only expert technical skills but also exceptional customer care, this is the spot!!!!!

Really good people. There is an awesome culture in the garage here.They're teaching the right way to fix vehicles and the customer service is on point. No coercing you into buying stuff, they tell you what's up and what your options are. I would be proud to have this location in my region.Ended up with tires and an oil change. If I lived around here I would bring them more business.Will update if the car blows up. :)

Stu went above and beyond for us! He made several phone calls and worked with his shop guys to make a plan. In the end, Domingo welded our mid-pipe since the part was no where to be found. We are back on the road thanks to him!

When you give a price, you should give a price for installation and everything, not just the tire. You think I will be installing it myself if I am at your shop. That s ridiculous.

I came early in the morning after working my graveyard shift. Stu was amazing and attentive at all my questions. He was very informative about the options I had and gave honest advice. The customer service from him was the best I ve had in an mechanic shop. He also quoted my services while running the front of shop on his own and attended to each customer plus answering the phone politely. My car was taken for servicing quickly and I will return here for any further maintenance while Stu s around!

They want to charge me $300 to replace a part that is held in place by 2 hose clamps and is available for $32 at the Auto Parts store across the street from them. WOW! Should have stopped asking these folks to do repairs for me several months ago when they parked my car outside, left the drivers side window down overnight through a rain storm, then tried to lie to me about why the driver's seat was literally soaking wet. Do yourself a favor... type "Auto Repair" and your zip code in the Google Maps search bar AND GO TO A DIFFERENT REPAIR SHOP!

My car was supposed to get a tire change at 11:30 but they said they were backed up and that they were gonna do it within the next two hours. I said OK after that I ve been calling them, but they ve been putting me on hold every single time and one time they did answer they said it was gonna be done within two hours I said OK and I ve been trying to call the store again and they kept putting me on hold like the first time,The end up locking the store without contacting me at allThey left my car outside without contacting me and incomplete without the tire change and then the CAR WIDE OPEN WITH THE WINDOW DOWN.I had beg for a ride home and ways to get around

They were very pleasant and easy to work with. My service writer handled my tire needs quickly and professionally. They changed and replace my tire in a professional manner. My Mr.Tire experience wasPainless. I highly recommend Mr.Tire.
