Friendly staff at this Maaco ... I was always greeted with a smile at the door. My car was done quickly and looked fantastic after the job was completed. I'm very happy with the overall service of this shop.

As a delivery contractor, I have brought a few of my vehicles here to be worked on and have had top-notch service every time. I would highly recommend their service whole hardly. Friendly and helpful service each and every time.

This review is a bit late, but maybe that makes it even more believable. The Gaithersburg Maaco did some body work on my Dodge Dakota pickup back in July of this year, and they did excellent work. They had by far the best prices in the area - I got 4 estimates and two of the four were TWICE Maaco's price - and their owner and other office staff are friendly and professional. And it's impressive that their Office Manager and two of their Estimators are women, which is rare in an industry (autobody repair) historically dominated by men.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Ms. Neblin, Ms. Cristina and Liliana are awesome. All are bilingual and very sympathetic with every client.I wish every business in the world would have staff like Maaco in Gaithersburg MD.I recommend everyone to take his/her car there. I had a very pleasant experience with Maaco when they repaired a dent in the door of my Dodge Durango. They were very efficient and the price was very reasonable. The staff was great to work with. These guys did a better job with my new bumper than the dealership did after a previous accident. The Camaro's yellow is not easy to match but they did a perfect job. Analia at the front desk gave me an estimate within 5 mins, and I paid the exact same price a few days later when the work was done even though some small issues (part manufacturer's fault) came up. Can't imagine anyone else in the area can do as good of a job at their competitive pricing. I recommend Maaco over the GM dealership and body shop pros I used to go to, my car looks better than the day I bought it.

Here's the thing I tried to like this place because the owner seems like a good guy but here's why you should absolutely avoid this shop.I got into an accident that insurance was paying for, the initial estimate was $9k and 3 weeks of work. Imagine the surprise when that took 3 months and 13k. The shop refused to pay for any difference in rental car. Upon return of the vehicle the shop actually gave me it back with 0 miles on the fuel estimate. So I drove it down the street in hopes that it'll make it there. I was upset but didn't write it bad review in case I would need to go back to get more work done.I was right because I went back for the next 3 months (examples: hood was put on wrong, wrong paint, sensors not put back in, missing lights, missing parts) for work they said they did but did not. Each time I had to painstakingly prove to them that what they did was either 1) not replaced with OEM parts (that I paid extra for) or 2) was not done at all. Other shops would give me photos of missing parts, and this maaco would say I must have taken them out myself. Yes maaco I'm going to take off my entire bumper to take out a sensor and come to you to replace it, that sounds like a great use of time.At the end of the day if someone is paying for this place with their insurance, expect to get scammed of your time because these guys will cut every corner possible and try to make a $ off you.If anyone needs proof I'm happy to send you every receipt and email with this stop. Avoid this place at all costs.

Macco charged me $500 to paint a front bumper matte black. I expected great quality work with that price but it looks like they barley even took the time to sand/prep correctly before painting. I couldn t even comment on the quality when I picked it back up because it was fully covered in white dust which I had to clean/wipe down once I got home. After wiping it down I noticed multiple rough/ashy spots where they didn t take the time to get good paint coverage. I took the car to a different body/paint shop to get a price on painting the entire front end including painting this bumper AGAIN and they couldn t believe that was MAACO s quality work either. 2 stars because from a distance it looks great, up close it does not.Service: Painting

If you re looking for quality work this place is NOT IT. Took my car to get my bumper repaired, and they took over a week when they said it would be 3 days. When I got my car back there was tape still all over it (dried tape which damaged the paint) and my right wheel well was bent up when it WAS NOT before. Almost like someone accidentally got the blow torch too close. Paint job was mediocre at best and when I asked them about the new damage ofcourse they denied. Lol Bottom of the barrel body work is how I would describe their level of quality. Now I need to find a REAL body shop to repair the damage they caused. Thanks MAACO.

I've used the Gaithersburg Maaco Auto Body Shop twice for painting and minor repairs. Most recently, after moving into a new home, I badly scrapped the side of my car tryin to maneuver a single garage door. Distraught, I went back to Maaco to see what they could do. Their reply was "no problem, we can fix it." One week later I picked up my car and was delighted with the quality of the repair. If I could give Gaithersburg Macco 6 stars, I would. Friendly helpful staff and dedicated repair people.

My wife s car needs a fender and bodywork due to an accident with another car. The office employee ( Christina) was so polite and helpful. There was an issue in the shade of the color on the fender that after talking with the Manager the issue was completely resolved.I recommend this place if you looking for a body shop to repair or paint your car.Service: Body & Trim

We had to come to this shop a total of 4 times 1. Came in for an estimate, staff member was nice and polite. Provided us with 2 options, both of which we felt were fair estimate.2. Dropped off the car a few days later and wait a few more days for the work to be completed. Came to the shop only to find out that there was paint run off on the exterior trim piece. Spoke to a gentleman, I m guessing he was the shop foreman, I asked how this happened - he couldn t give me an answer and when I asked him how is considered work completed he basically blamed the person who did the repair (talk about great leadership/management). He told me I can by next week when the detailer is in and we can get the trim cleaned.3. Came back a third time and guess what, sure the trim is now cleaned but now we realized it wasn t just the trim piece, the doors a thin line of excess paint by the edge where it met the trim piece. At this point even the shop foreman was speechless, the guy who did the work came by and said I was told only to clean the trim piece. 4. Came back a fourth time to pick the car up and yes the it s better but till noticeably messy around the edge, and not only that they ended up scratching one of the trim piece.I asked if they could help me out, seeing how I needed to come back 3 different times, with a few other small spots that needed some refinishing but they quickly dodge it and said that they would give me some touch-up paint lol. I really try to give them a fair shot but man talk about letting a customer down.

I went in for an estimate and was told I would be taken care of and a price range, turns out no effort was done on their behalf and they defaulted for me to find parts. They were very nice and did some work on my brothers car that was okay which is why I went to them first, sadly they lacked the effort and attention span I required and I no longer want to do business with them, the quality of work is subpar but if you re picky like I am I would recommend taking your business elsewhere like D&V auto body or really any other shop.Keep in mind, this is a big franchise shop which means their style of work and quality will be at a franchise level, no specialities or certifications on one brand. I m glad I saved my Audi RS3 from them because I would like to keep a car like that feeling as top notch as possible, again nothing to stay on their kindness because, yes. They are extremely kind but I just wish they would of help out much more than they actually did and not beat around the bush on pricing.

Super friendly service from beginning to end. High quality workmanship, best results and BEST price anywhere in the area. I actually got 4 estimates from 4 different body shops, 2 of which were MAACO, and this MAACO location in Gaithersburg not only met but exceeded my expectations in outstanding work and excellent price. Decent price than I've expected, found the location easily, and friendly staff. I got my repair done on my Hyundai Sonata and it looks fabulous! Like new and I have a year warranty which is great too!

I brought the car in for 2 minor scratches and it was returned with new ones. My car is black so these new ones show up very clearly. They knew it but they tried to pass it off. When I said this was unacceptable they immediately took the car back and did who knows what to it. When they brought it back out to me, they handed me a bottle of black paint and said for touch ups. Make your own decision but I will NEVER go to Maaco in Gaithersburg again.

They provided both excellent customer service and excellent body work/painting on my SUV. They also installed and painted the rear spoiler, side steps, and front grill guard. All for a price that no other place could come anywhere close to beating. I will definitely be coming back with other vehicles and will recommend them to all that I know.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Took my car in for a repair after an auto collision. They gave me a quick, easy estimate. I had some my wheels and brakes painted while they were there (why not, right?!) and they are beautiful!! By far one of the best places where you can get a high quality paint job or body work for your car. The staff are very nice and professional too! They did a really nice job on my car and I picked it up before the expected time frame. I am very satisfied with the service I received and would definitely recommend Macco Collision Repair.

My car paint randomly started to peel and I needed a paint job fast and needed my car in a couple days. They made the process simple and easy. I have taken my older car to MAACO twice. The first time for repairs and to have the whole car painted. The second time for body repairs and broken trunk latch. I didn t want to spend a lot of money since it is an old car. Both times they worked with me for the least expensive solutions. They are courteous, efficient and do excellent work. My car looks like new. I highly recommend them !!!
