I had a fantastic experience at King Volkswagen. From my salesperson Elaina to the finance manager Ahmed who handle my paperwork, and everyone I interacted with it was a great experience!! Everyone went above and beyond in assisting me getting my dream vehicle!! I highly recommend this dealership.

The experienced I ve had over the past 2 weeks at the service center at King s Volkswagen shows me how shady, how heartless, and how overwhelmingly difficult it is to deal with dealerships. I had to go there 3 times in the span of 2 weeks for a service that should have taken 1 day to finish and resolve. I originally scheduled my service to take place on a Saturday, and selected the call me option so I could confirm that they could get my 100k mile service + a few electrical issues done for my car, to which they told me it ll be no issue. I go there on said Saturday for this gentleman who I could barely hear and understand to tell me that all their technicians weren t there on weekends, so they couldn t fix my electrical issues. Absolutely their fault for not telling me that over the phone. They rescheduled me for the following Thursday, to where Daniel, who was very polite and clear with the perimeters of the service, told me he d look at the car and get all of those issues taken care of by the end of the day. I go back at 6 PM that day, Daniel told me they fixed one of my main electrical issues (a front passenger s side window issue), as well as a back tail light I mentioned that needed to be replaced. I go back to my car and the first thing I see is that the warning light for my dead tail light was still on (it was not fixed), and the issue with my front right passenger side window wasn t fixed at all even though he assured me it was. I go back in to the service center 2 minutes later and Daniel disappeared, to where one of the kind employees tried to diagnose and fix the issue with my window, but he made it worse. Once we found Daniel, he went to my car and messed with the window to the point where it didn t work, so instead of bringing it back into the shop and fixing the issue he made worse and originally said they fixed, he told me he could fit me in 5 days later (today), not to mess with the window, and sent me on my way. I come back today, and Daniel expected me to pay for the issue that they made worse and failed to fix even though I m the 23 year old that had to take off 3 days of work because of THEIR inconvenience, and Daniel is disrespectfully talking to me like a puppet, showing no empathy towards my situation and not taking any accountability for the issue that he made worse, so I left. So after wasting almost 2 weeks of my time going back and forth from this dealership, dealing with a dealership that lacks proper communication, customer empathy, and the ability to right their wrongs, I finally left unsatisfied. I was recommended to this dealership for their service center from a friend I trust dearly, and I understand everyone has their own experiences both positive and negative, but I m a first time customer with this service center and I was left EXTREMELY unsatisfied, and I should of read and listened to all of the 1 star reviews this dealership has because there s a BIG reason for all of that. Do better, Kings.Update: they didn t reach out to me like they said below. Dealerships like this don t care about customer satisfaction.

I purchased a 2024 VW Taos from Alvaro. He was by far the most knowledgeable and friendly car salesman I ve ever dealt with. He honored the sales price that was listed at the time I first inquired about the vehicle even though I couldn t test drive it until a few days later and the online price had changed. We spent most of the downtime talking about our kids and he even helped me synch up all the tech features in the car with my phone. Speaking of downtime, there wasn t much. I was in and out the door in less than 2 hours and that included a 20 minute test drive. I ordered some accessories from the parts department and the staff there were helpful and friendly. Ahmed, the business manager, was a lot of fun to speak with while we finalized all the paperwork and he really knows how to tailor any extended service coverages you might want to fit your budget and needs. Out of the 9 dealerships I ve purchased vehicles from in my lifetime, this was hands down the best experience I ve had. If I buy another VW in the future, I ll definitely return to King.

Bought 2024 Tiguan this past Saturday. Best car buying experience I ve ever had. Alex the sales manager was honest and gave me an incredible price and $2k more for my trade and an additional $2,100 less for the exact same car than Fitzgerald in Frederick, MD and disclosed dealer fees upfront which is huge these days. Their dealer fee is $500. Others tack on so many fees that you can pay nearly $2k above the sale price. Not at King VW, just $500 and that includes DMV processing. The salesperson, Albert was hard working, honest like his manager, get it done kind of guy which I really appreciated. Thomas the finance manager was a pleasure to work with and did not push the extras. In summary, I initially selected this dealership because of their transparent and excellent pricing which they sent within minutes of my online inquiry, surprisingly honest approach in an industry that is not. The experience once I arrived was second to none and very much appreciated. I highly recommend this dealership.

Did not receive enough timely information concerning the time remaining for the repair to be completed. They were finished ~3.5 hrs later. I had an appointment for 9am for a alignment and balancing and decided to wait. It took until noon to advise me as to other needed repairs and I was told it would take ~2 hrs more. I was waiting at the dealership until 3:30pm.

Our technician Daniel was stellar. He was not only knowledgeable but very customer oriented. I had brought my VW Golf in for normal annual inspection and maintenance. He found a situation that required immediate repair and not only showed us but explained the remedy. The undercarriage was packed with asphalt. He provided us with a loaner at no cost, and removed the asphalt. He found ways to charge me less than the estimate. He was courteous and personal. Of course i would come back to King for future maintenance and ask for Daniel.

Instead of properly diagnosing my issue, they insisted nothing was wrong and just focused on recommending unnecessary maintenance services, most of which are not even part of the official VW maintenance schedule. Their recommendations totaled well over $1000. To top it off, the services their tech said were desperately needed had been recently taken care of by myself. That tells me they never checked and simply recommended services that were easy money makers for the service department.

I chose a 3 out of 5 for a few specific reasons.Why 3? I completed my purchase mostly virtually, only going to the dealership to pick up my tiguan and leave behind my equinox. I liked this ease of sale as I was able to test drive, study up on, review, and otherwise research what I wanted on my own time, from the comfort of my own home.Sales person, Sergiy was pleasant but not the most helpful nor easiest to get ahold of. I found myself chasing him around. The sales manager, Bobby, stepped in to help. I later found out Sergiy was off during the week.On the day I came up to pick up the car, I already knew what I wanted and had been pre-approved. I arrived to find a dirty car with scratches on the door handle of the drivers side. I mentioned it to my sales person to have buffed before I left but they weren't fixed. I spent over 2 hours at the dealership and had just driven two hours and had another 2 hour drive before me so I decided when I went out to not point out the scratches still existed again. I'm going to pay to have them buffed out myself, which I'm not thrilled about.Everyone was super nice and easy to work with when I arrived. My sales guy knew I was coming at that time but definitely wasn't prepared for my arrival- obvious but okay since I knew I wasn't his only customer that day. Otherwise I highly recommend him for his manner and knowledge.What I'm unhappy about....me specifically, I wasn't told I was going to have to pay the dealership additional money to get my plates shipped to me.I find it ridiculous as I paid the dealership already to process the title and plates. If they need the extra money, they should have included it in the fee I already paid them. I'm very angry about this and likely won't do business with them again simply because of this nickle and diming tactic. I even called the sales manager, Bobby and expressed my frustration, who advised me this is the way they do business. So now I'm waiting for them to send me a flyer so I can pay them to ship the license plates I have rightfully already paid for.I otherwise very much like my tiguan.

I have been a loyal VW customer for over 10 years, but my recent experience with Kings VW in Maryland has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated.Last week, I traded in my 2018 Tiguan for a brand new 2023 VW Atlas from Kings VW. Excited about the purchase, I drove the car for approximately 155 miles out of the 240 miles until disaster struck. The car started shaking violently, accompanied by a loud clanking sound, and various warning lights on the dashboard lit up. To make matters worse, the vehicle abruptly slowed down, almost causing a serious accident. I was forced to pull over to the shoulder for safety.The first call I made was to the dealership, expecting their immediate assistance, given that this issue occurred just 2 hours and 155 miles into my ownership. To my dismay, I was met with indifference, and they directed me to go through the warranty process. Feeling stranded and let down, I then called roadside assistance, who made me wait for 2 hours, only to never show up. At this point, I had no choice but to call 911, and thankfully they sent a tow truck to get me off the turnpike.However, the nightmare didn't end there. I had to arrange towing on my own for another 80 miles, as roadside assistance failed to provide the help I desperately needed. The whole experience was not only nerve-wracking but also costly, as I had to pay over $1,000 in towing charges and arrange for alternative transportation to get back home.Despite my loyal customer status, Kings VW has not demonstrated any care or empathy during this entire ordeal. They sold me a defective vehicle, and instead of taking responsibility and providing proper assistance, they left me to fend for myself. This has shattered my trust in the dealership and the brand as a whole.VW is aware of the engine issues on the 2023 model as there are numerous recalls on the engines.I urge potential buyers to be cautious when considering Kings VW for their automotive needs. Their lack of accountability and customer service in times of crisis is concerning, and I can't help but wonder how many other customers have faced similar neglect.I sincerely hope that my review serves as a warning and prompts VW to reevaluate their approach to customer care. As for myself, I'll be seeking resolution through other channels, and this experience has made me seriously question whether I can ever rely on this car or dealership again.

I went to King for a trade-in of my Tesla to a Honda Ridgeline they had on the lot. Zach D helped me out in this process. It took a few hours to finalize the deal, but thanks to Zach I did not mind the wait at all. His professionalism, straightforwardness, and customer-driven approach should be an example for other salesmen. I knew what I wanted, and was not upsold or walked to things I did not want. Zach had no problem facilitating to the best of his abilities. 5/5 recommend!

Worked with Alvaro on getting my new ID4. Spoke on the phone, agreed on numbers, no gimmicks, no hidden fees. Went in, signed paperwork, got going in about an hour. Definitely recommend working with Alvaro and have recommended him to friends interested in new VWs.

I'm in the middle for this rating. loved the deal they gave us, (bought 2 new alltracks,well almost new. They were unsold 2019s). I'm from pa so I don't know how this affected the outcome of my registration but its 4 months now and STILL no paperwork. I'm losing my patience with the sales staff so I'm now being handled by the owners son Ryan. Not very impressed with the office but LOVE MY ALLTRACKS

The service was very fast and efficient, with great communication from the service rep, Kevin. He even called me to remind me that I was close to my mileage warranty, and I was able to get my brake pads replaced for free.

I was very disappointed with the service I received. I went in to look at Used Atlas with Lucas ( who was a great sale guy), went on a test drive and when I came back the manager (who s name was Denis) was very rude when it came to negotiating the car price. He didn t want to work with me at all and just walked away from me instead of working with me and trying to get a price that would work for both of us. I would not recommend going to this dealership at all!

We recently bought a CPO Atlas at King VW. The whole experience was professional and accommodating without being pushy. Our salesman Chris was a pleasure to work with and answered all of our many questions. The inventory selection at King was better than other any other dealer I saw in the area and their prices were very competitive. We got a great deal through VW financial and are thrilled with this new car for our family.

Tried to buy a brand new car here on Friday. I found one i really liked so i asked to purchase it the same day. After running my credit (6 inquiries showed up). I still said fine let's get this going. It was not till late Friday that I received the message saying they are ready for paperwork, at this time I was with family so Alvaro said I can do it Saturday noon. I agreed and when I tried to reach out to them at 11 am, no one called me back. I called many times but Alvaro ended up selling the same car to another customer the same day because it was removed from their website. To this day they never called me back. They don't really value their customer, as long as money is coming in that's all they care about. I then purchased the same car locally while my local dealer only ran my credit once. I don't know why they would run your credit 6 times causing 6 inquiries on your credit.

Kevin is always Mr. VW! Which is great. He knows his stuff. The girl cashier was very kind. Any time I come in for service everyone is so nice!P.S.The chairs in the waiting area really need to change.
