Went in for an oil change, great experience! Chris in service was great and then test drove a Subaru. Darin in sales was professional and knowledgeable. I will come back for service and when it s time for a new vehicle!

I had the greatest experience this evening. Customer service over the phone at establishments are so unpleasant these days. I was shocked and completely satisfied with the service I recieved by Mr. Troy Jackson at Hyundai service Fitzgerald(on the phone). My schedule is very tight due to my 2 children and he was able to manuever around my schedule even offering transportion for my children and I. He made something that was difficult for me smooth and easy going. Now I'm able to get my things done during the week and service my vehicle. Thank you Mr. Jackson! We need people like you around the world!

A couple of weeks ago, I made an appointment online to get some recall work done (replace my trunk latch). I arrived a few minutes early and was checked in and shown to the waiting area. They let me sit in their waiting room for 90 minutes before telling me they didn't have the correct part to perform the work. I got a shoulder shrug and a "sorry" from the tech who said I could just come back next week and they'll probably have the part then. I can't imagine a scenario where I'll actually return to this place. Even by modern standards, this place is extremely disrespectful of your time.

Instead of giving me a realistic timeframe up front I was given the run around and lied to for three days. I scheduled a service appointment for a full diagnostic two weeks in advance and at drop off I was told someone from the body shop could also give me a quote for any cosmetic damage. When I called to check on the status of my vehicle I was told it was getting looked at within the hour only to call back the next day and be told it hadn t been looked at yet. This went on for three days. Day three I call again to see when my car is ready for pick up and I m told it s still in the body shop getting looked at, meanwhile an associate from the body shop emailed me hours ago that they were finished with the car. Two days in a row my sales associate just *forgot* to schedule me an Uber ride from my work to home so I ended up alone after hours outside of my workplace in an unsafe part of Montgomery village. It s completely unacceptable to treat any customer this way but as a woman I felt I was put at risk while literally paying Hyundai Fitzgerald for their service. This did not feel like a mistake or oversight as both days I called twice within the hour to confirm my ride home. Every time I contacted my sales associate I felt like I was annoying or inconveniencing them. The frustration on both sides could have been totally avoided if they just provided an honest timeframe from the start. In the end it took Fitzgerald Hyundai three days for a diagnostic and a $2,800 repair quote including the cost of my diagnostic. Took a mechanic in Germantown one day to actually fix the problem $860 including body work. Save your time and your money and just go somewhere else.

Major Letdown - One Star Rating for Hyundai GaithersburgMy recent experience with Hyundai Gaithersburg has left me utterly disillusioned and questioning the integrity of their business practices. I purchased a Hyundai Sonata with the promise of complimentary basic maintenance up to 36,000 miles or 3 years a commitment that has been blatantly ignored.During my recent visit to the service center, I was informed that my last complimentary service had been exhausted, leaving me bewildered as it's been just a year and my car has a mere 19,000 miles. This breach of our contractual agreement is not only inconvenient but showcases a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. What's more, my confidence in Hyundai's purported 100,000-mile warranty has been shattered. If they can't uphold a basic maintenance commitment, how can I trust them with more significant promises? It's disheartening to realize that the information provided during the sales process was misleading, and the dealership seems more interested in cutting corners than building trust. As a next step, I want to make it known that I am actively seeking legal action to address this breach of contract. I will provide updates on the progress of this matter. Potential customers, beware. Hyundai Gaithersburg's actions have cost them not only my trust but also any future business. It's disappointing to see a company prioritize short-term gains over long-term customer relationships.

$290 just for the labor of oil/filter/fluid change at this place.$290 JUST for the labor of oil/filter/fluid change. An engineer with a PhD and 30 years of experience does not even charge $290 for one hour of his/her time.

For months, Hyundai Corporate and their dealerships have been unresponsive to consumers with hazardous RECALLS.1) No remedy has been afforded owners.Due to unresolved flammable ABS Brake Leakage, vehicles should not be garaged.2) Also, unresolved engine block recall indicating potential for surprise engine failure gives consumers extended warranty ONLY to 100k.Bottom line, recalls indicate vehicles are essentially TOTALLED.Lives AND property remain in jeopardy after Hyundai has received significant investment of buyer financial resources and trust that vehicle design would provide safe conveyence between destinations, at least from endogenous threats to life and limb.Loaners until vehicle repairs are fulfilled or vehicle replacement would make owners whole and maintain brand loyalty.

Went in for an oil change, new brake pads and the anti theft software since my car was eligible.I got an estimate of $1156 via emailI was told I needed a PCV replacement since I was at 40,000 miles but I had JUST replaced it at 35,248,just to inspect the brakes was $114 alone on top of $565 to replace the rotors and brake pads.Upon checking out I saw on the paperwork that the anti theft software installation was not on there, so I went in to ask if it was done and was told yes.My sister pointed out that they did place the anti theft sticker decal on the windows, great so it got done.I already knew I needed a new rear windshield wiper blade since I just had my tires done at another dealership and it was pointed out. The day before I took my car in to get serviced on those 3 things I used my back and front windshield wipers no problem. Then in the estimated email the rear windshield motor is in the red, when I picked it up after declining all the other things that was recommended I checked my back windshield on my way home and saw it didn t even move anymore. Okay, things happen so my Dad scheduled another appointment to see if it could get fixed under warranty, just to check again that it wasn t working we were going to get charged $100+ on top of the service so we declined. I come to pick up since nothing was done to my car and was told to wait because my car wasn t ready, odd since nothing was done today. Then I was told checking out that the anti theft software was installed today. So I guess when I took my car in on 3/27 they just put stickers on my window and said it was installed? My advice make friends with someone who works at another dealership/shop, I m now driving an hour to get new rotors and brake pads for 200$ instead of $500and all the other things that this place would have overcharged me for. I get they make their money on services and parts but damn.2 stars because the guys have a great customer service voice, and I used to take my car here in the beginning and had no issues.Update 6/20/23Took my car in at another Hyundai store and found out the anti theft software was never actually installed. Now it says it is completed per the dealership I went to after this one.

I had a recall for my vehicle that needed addressed and from the operator, to the service department staff, they were all horrible. The car was dropped off on a Saturday afternoon and I was told it would be ready by Monday/Tuesday. A week goes on without no communication what so ever on what needed repaired or at-least what was going on. No accountability what so ever. When i call in to check on the status, it takes forever for someone to answer the phone. Even if someone does answer i m getting put on hold and passed around. I honestly am nervous to even know whats really going on behind close doors at that place. I would run! Do not go there.

Came in a for diagnostic which they tried to overcharge me for, all for the car to sit there for 2 days in the bay and never actually got a diagnostic. Poor communication, rather No communication from the advisor and the service manager instead of making up for his employees mistakes would rather get rid of you than fixing the issue. Please get some people that actually care and want to make money. They are hurting your business

2015 Hyundai Sonata has major factory paint peeling from hood and roof.Dealership wanted to charge me 1600 to repair paint after their "discount" and stated I would be responsible for replacing windshield if it broke during the process.Don't buy Hyundai products. It is very common to see their white vehicles with major paint peel.

There was a new person behind the desk who clearly did not know what he was doing. Luckily others came over to help but my estimated 30 minute service lasted almost 2 hours and my car was no where to be seen. Hopefully he will.learn more before someone else gets him.

Over ten years that I have had services at this location, it's really hard to find a good service agent. The only person that I'm happy to work with is Crystal. She treated me like a customer, not someone who is trying to bother her with the car problem.

Brought my Santa Fe in as part of free schedule maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, inspections) and got out in 1.5 hours. Folks were very friendly and no hassle at all. Thanks Fitzgerald.

Hyundai Fitzgerald of Gaithersburg Service Center might just be the actual gateway to the underworld.

The Rockville and Gaithersburg service shops plain and simple take advantage of those who NEED their service. I have purchased two cars , and my entire family have Hyundais. It s so sad that these two shops basically seek to gouge you. I took my car to the Fitzgerald s in Gaithersburg two or three times before I finally stopped because each time they claimed to have found a NAIL in my tire. Yes this is true each and every time. What are the odds??!! Then I started taking my car to the Fitzgerald in Rockville and there I was charged double for a transmission fuel exchange ($599)than the Wheaton, Frederick and Gaithersburg s locations. I was told that they were all in DIFFERENT regions!!!!

What customer service? They just talk to you without care to the customer experience. They suck at documentation and it feels like every conversation you have to explain everything from why you are there or why you have to come back

Shorted out battery and MFD in car while doing routine maintenance. Was going to le ty wife drive off the lot without notifying the MFD broke while in their possession (presumably hoping we wouldn't notice until we had left)

Takes far too long for a simple oil change and tire rotation, an hour and a half, with an appointment?
