Several weeks ago, my daughter's car started losing oil. We took it in and Bay Area started troubleshooting the problem. They went through all the recommended protocol for the problem but nothing worked. When I determined the problem hadn't been corrected, I contacted them and they told me to bring it back, twice! No hassles, no excuses, they just said they'd keep looking. They never recommended a lot of expensive work that might fix the problem.After they'd exhausted all the possible causes, they kept digging. They found old technical bulletins that described the problem and that my daughter's car had an old recall for the issue. Using that information, we can make a decision as to a further course of action.I can't say enough about these guys!

Dave, Rick and the whole Bay Area Auto team is awesome. My wife and I take our cars there and they do quick awesome work and our cars have been running awesome thanks to them. Don t hesitate to stop in for any auto needs. Keep up the awesome job

Bay Area Tire was able to locate the OEM tires for my vehicle and matched the best prices I could find. They did a great job mounting and balancing my new tires - greatly improved ride. Plus the did a 4-wheel alignment using their $100,000 equipment. Lastly, I liked their base warranty so much I opted for the warranty plus option. Better coverage than my own auto insurance coverage. I recommend Bay Area Tire.

Amazing - great communication and timely service. They re upfront and don t try to nickel and dime you. Rick was very helpful and kept me informed during the process. Happy they are down the street from me for auto work!

Rick was great to work with from start to finish with getting me new tires! He found the best deal and called me a car so I didn t have to wait around while they changed them out. Super helpful with a friendly atmosphere. I will be back to Bay Area Tire for future services!

Great service. Took my Volkswagen and the guys were friendly, fast, and affordable. They even helped me out with an unrelated tire issue. I got Rick, and he was awesome. Couldn t have asked for a better experience!

Needed to get my tires replaced and do the alignment as well, and the staff were really great, friendly, and responsive! Doug (the manager) was excellent to work with and I'll definitely be back for any future tire needs.

The staff at Bay Tire are top notch. They are knowledgeable about my vehicle and are always helpful and courteous. They only tell me about what I need at that service and don t try to needlessly up sell me on things I don t need. Rick and the guys at Bay Area, Gaithersburg provide quality auto care at convenient time. They only advocate for the service you need, and don't push you to spend on what you don't need. They also stand behind their work. They have replaced batteries, alternators, and suspension components that have failed before end of life. They frequently diagnose issues with my vehicles. This is a group I trust with my family's cars.

Had new tires installed a couple weeks ago and already found a nail. I purchased the tire protection package when I had them installed so I went back To Bay Area Tire and they took my vehicle in to the shop and fixed it immediately. This was late Friday afternoon on the Friday before Christmas. Couldn't ask for friendlier or nicer people. Highest recommendation that I can give!

Took the vehicle mazda cx9 for rear axle seal replacement. They showed place and mentioned no immediate action needed. Also quoted very less price for other repairs. Would recommend them

Excellent customer service, they go above and beyond with the little things. Like complimentary Uber service if you re within a few miles and changing my very dead car key battery for me without even asking. All my family that live in the area go here exclusively and I will continue too.

I ve been using Bay Area Tire & Service Center since they have opened up. It s run by a great group of guys who are all super friendly. The mechanics, Jake especially, take their time and are diligent which I appreciate. The front desk/management crew are also super helpful when going over pricing and any concerns you have. I have 2 mechanic shops within 5 min of where I live, but I go out of my way to get serviced by Bay Area because they are the most reliable mechanic shop I ve been to.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement

From the first day of making the appointment with Tony which was very pleasant and helpful, to dropping off the car and getting great information from Doug to picking up my car and getting even more information from Doug. Doug even went further telling me what needs to be done by the dealership so that I didn't have to pay. Doug found out that there was a recall on my car and I had no idea. After getting quoted an absurd amount at the dealership, I was able to get in touch with Rick, who was professional and pleasant on the phone, confirmed they could do the job way faster and of course at a better price point. I called in on a Friday and everything was done on Saturday before close of business. Definitely recommend reaching out to them and they will take care of you and your car. Very thoughtful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Price is fair and aftercare is great. Free rotations for the life of tires, service reminders, and a free Lyft service instead of waiting (I'm sure a distance limit exists so be realistic and don't be unreasonable).
