These guys are awesome! It s the only shop I go to to have work done on my Camaro. They have done excellent work installing a new exhaust, downpipes, CAI, as well as exterior mods-caliper covers,front splitter, side skirts, and wing on my car. I m willing to make the 40 minute trip to ensure quality service. Great staff that truly shows the best interest for the customer.Services: Body & Trim, Tire rotations, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Use to be a fan of this shop, did a decent amount of work with them 1-2 years ago. Unfortunately they ve gotten money hungry, labor costs are only $30-50 from whatever car dealership you go to, and that doesn t come with any warranty. Times may be tough, but it s a shame how people treat long time clients. Wishing them the best so they can get back to what matters when running a business.

My 2012 BMW 535i engine had a rough idle, sputtering, and it had a loud whistle. I took it to the BMW dealership and they quoted me an outrageous price to fix everything. After a recommendation from my coworker, I brought it here, to That Auto Shop. They knew exactly what was wrong with it right when I pulled up. Not only did they fix the problem, but they fixed other issues that I didn't even know about. For a lot less than what BMW quoted me, at that. Now it runs like they put a brand new engine in my car. They are passionate about their work, and they really do treat your car like it's their own. I called them asked for a quote on a oil leak on my 06 tacoma truck. They gave me a fair price and fixed it same day with no appointment!!! They were friendly upfront and showed me exactly what they were doing and gave me options!!! This will be my new local shop for all my repairs and upgrades. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a honest mechanic!!!

Excellent Shop! JR was very helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and reasonable. I came in to get brakes done and it was an awesome experience. He also spent extra time explaining the cause and effect of another car issue that I m having. He provided options that helped me make an informed decision. I will definitely go back to this shop for any car issues. Highly recommended!

Let me start off by saying WOW. I did tons of research online for an affordable auto shop, when finally I found these guy's. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They did a complete inspection of my car, even though I only brought it in for the brakes. The overall price was extremely reasonable. Took my car in on a Friday, received it back two day's later. My car is in better shape than it has EVER been. Would totally recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to be scammed out of their money, wants an honest opinion, and wants the BEST care for their car.

My AC went out on a Friday... not just any Friday... The Friday before a long 4th of July Holiday weekend and right before my family was leaving to go to the Carolinas for vacation. I called That Auto Shop and they were able to squeeze me in that morning. I dropped my car off and they stayed in touch with results from their diagnostics. AC compressor went. They were able to get it replaced same day. When I picked up my car it still wasnt blowing cold... I went back in and questioned it. They quickly took my car back in to make sure the vents weren't blocked and the freon levels were correct. It turns out they made a minor error in the freon amount. They fixed it and I was on my way. I truly appreciate them squeezing me in and admitting their error and fixing it!Services: Auto A/C replacement, Air conditioning

That Auto Shop is a rare find. They are honest, trustworthy, and they do excellent work. They will never "add-on" charges for things that don't need to be done. You can trust them with your vehicle and your wallet. If there is a cheaper way to do things, they will tell you. David (Shop Manager) in particular is a man of high integrity and honesty. That is priceless. Love that Auto Shop!

Can not be more thankful for the recommendation to this shop! I needed a ton of work done which can be very expensive, but they match priced which was GREAT and saved me a lot! For the amount of work that was needed, everything was done in a good timely manner. Everyone from manager, owner, to mechanic, to techs had great communication and worked together to have everything come out perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a shop.

1000% definitely the BEST auto repair shop in Maryland. Dave & Scott are just all around honest, hardworking great guys that want to do an outstanding job for their customers and they most certainly do. I am very glad that I met Dave and schedule an appointment with him. That Auto Shop is officially my new mechanic. There was something wrong with my car that my old mechanic couldn t find and the mechanic at that auto shop found it in 5 mins. You will always get great service for your cars here and with GREAT PRICES that will NOT be beaten. The manger there was very polite, knowledgeable, and honest. My car was fixed in the time they said it would. It was a great experience. EVERYONE should be coming here.

Everyone at That Auto Shop is very nice and professional. They are thorough and have never made me feel pressured to get any work done on my car unless it needed it. Very fair and honest shop right here!!! I continue take my car here even though I don't live close by. Thank you That Auto Shop for all your help!!! You are very appreciated!

I was extremely impressed by the honesty and efficient work of this team. JR especially was very helpful ,and my car, which had exhaust and transmission problems is in good running order, I will recommend this mechanic shop to anyone. Like always JR was super helpful and informative throughout the process. Got new front brakes done on a hellcat as well as a wheel alignment and re-balance. These guys did an acceptable job of installing my parts, except when I got the car back it smoked and idled rough. When I took it back to them, they performed a 5 min replacement of a part which was installed, and then told me to my face if that didn't fix it I was on my own. I gave him the key expecting him to at least take it in the shop granted I spent $3,000+ with him, but JR adamantly said the 5 minute hose replacement was all they were going to do. Luckily the hose solved the smoking, but my idle is still questionable, and it wasn't like that before the work. There are no parts on the car which would cause that. I'm giving 1 star for the "you're on your own after spending thousands with us" customer service, and the fact the guy actually had the guts to laugh at the situation hovering over my car.

I would use That Auto Shop all the time, but I'm from out of town "Georgia". The water pump on my Jeep was leaking, they gave me the best price around and ready when I was finished work. Genuine nice people also! Just what I'm used to good southern hospitality, up north!

I had a headlight out on my 2004 Mazda 6. I purchased a new headlamp enclosure and bulbs and took the car to my neighborhood repair shop.They told me they could not install the new unit because the earlier collision damage required bodywork for the headlamp to fit.I found That Auto Body Shop online and emailed them about my problem. They were the only shop to respond to such a request and they didn't confine me to a specific time of day.I went there and met Serkan Karamete. He looked at my xar and told me he could fix it and would need 3 hours. I live alone so I chose to wait in their customer space.After only 2 hours, I looked through the front window and saw my car with both headlights on and the fender replaced (he had thought he might have to leave the fender off, but made the extra effort because he knew I woukd be happier with the job).The total cost was 192.00 which is their labor rate for two hours work. I left there completely satisfied and well cared for. I went to my repair shop and got a state inspection to avoid a registration suspension from a State Police work order I had gotten previously.This shop did wht I asked, di it in less time than they told me, and in general made it as painless a possible ending a long period of frustration for me. Thank you for your important local service. I will return here soon.

That Auto Shop is one of a new breed of auto repair facilities. Gone are the days of the loud, cigar-chomping, grease-covered owner and the stench of stale burnt coffee and exhaust fumes. T.A.S. is a pleasant, clean, and friendly shop who treats everyone like a friend and valued customer. Their work begins with a thorough and accurate estimate up front, and a clear explanation of what services will be performed. The work is performed skillfully and the pricing is very fair. I wouldn't hesitate to send my mother, sister, or a best friend there for service. Keep up the good work guys, we need more places like this one to help keep us on the road.

I brought my vehicle to that auto shop in frederick md. i was very pleased with the the thorough evaluation of my vehicle. the price they quoted was the price i paid. Even when they encountered some other issues they went above and beyond in my opinion. I would recommend that auto shop to friends and family. the staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you

Scott from That Auto Shop was very helpful. Upper ball joint on my Jimmy went out they got the part the next day and installed same day had me back on the road in no time. will definetly take my vehicle to them for any work I need done on it. Thanks Guys

Every woman knows the drill when looking for a new garage. "How badly are they going to play me for being a chick walking in the front door?" Well, I have found my new garage. I went in for an oil change and tire balance/rotation, and they did one of those all-points checks that other places offer that you always question. While I was waiting, I got an email with the outcome of that check, pictures of things that are troublesome and when I picked up my car, there was ZERO PRESSURE about getting them fixed. No sales pitch, just an explanation of how important or not the issues were. Scott answered every one of my questions, explained what they saw when working on my car and attempted ZERO add-ons. SOLD.

Great place to take your car for any service. They are very friendly, kind and honest. Scott is the owner, he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.
