This is an excellent place to take your vehicle. I have already tried all of the bad places for you so that you don't have to. Feel the freedom of not having to suffer through hit-or-miss quality and judgy employees. Revel in Dynamic Automotives' excellent customer service and extremely high competency. Delight in the detailed and easy to read inspection reports, complete with relevant high-quality photos identifying found issues.Finding quality in the world can be difficult. Dynamic Automotive makes it easy.

We had a wonderful experience. Customer Service (Courtney) was excellent from the beginning all the way to the end. Everything was explained in a way that I could understand. Repairs were performed promptly. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great automotive shop and/or Maryland Inspection.

Dynamic Auto is one of the few reputable and honest repair shops still around. I have take my car there for routine oil changes and other maintenance / repairs (over a dozen times in total), and not once did I feel as though they were trying to upsell me on getting additional repairs or maintenance done. I love that they include photos while doing any work on the car so things are well documented and explained (helpful for someone who knows next-to-nothing about car repairs). I was told by another shop that I needed new brakes urgently, but was skeptical as I hadn't experienced any of the signs of low brake pads. Took my car to Dynamic and they showed me that my brakes were, in fact, still in great shape and the pads still had a lot of life left.Courtney, the manager and one who will greet you at the front desk, is always friendly and understanding of your situation! One instance I was wrapping up my appointment and paying for my car service while there was a very upset customer outside screaming on the phone. Courtney reassured me that I am welcome to stay inside as long as I want if that customer was making me uncomfortable.I can't recommend this shop enough and will be taking my car there for any future maintenance and repairs.

Great staff and technicians. Easy to schedule appointments. The technician inspect critical areas and notify the owner with photos of areas of concern. Been going to Dynamic for several years and highly recommend them.

I have used Dynamic Automotive both in Frederick and in Emmitsburg and have had fantastic experiences at both locations. They answer my questions and check out any concerns I have. If something needs fixed, they tell me, if something will need fixed in the future but not right now, they tell me that as well. Highly recommended.

We brought my daughter's car there because it was stalling and not starting up again. After close to $3000 of repairs, 6 days in the shop, and a difficult time to communicate with them (Courtney at the front ), the car is still not running smoothly, and the engine light is on now! We called several times to have it fixed, but they do not answer our calls anymore and do not call back!I have been a customer for years over there. It is incredible how the mechanical and customer services worsen over time!NOT recommended!!

With 4 vehicles in our family, Dynamic has long been our repair shop of choice for a reason. And, Courtney, the office manager, is always a bright spot in our day, she enjoys helping customers and it shows. It's a great repair shop!

The Dynamic shop on Byte Drive is my trusted place to take care of my Outback.It is a small shop but has really knowledgable mechanics and a great service advisor. I am most impressed in my own experience and watching them with other customers to really understand the problem with the car and not do a lot of unnecessary work.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Oil change and switching out of faulty tire sensor went smoothly. I appreciate that they do an inspection with the oil change to monitor those routine maintenance items that otherwise might be missed. I was informed of three items that need addressed with a quote for the work. This way I can address as budget allows.

I had an appointment made for 8 am and the front desk woman said it should take around 45 mins. I come back at the hour mark and my car still hasn t moved. It ended up being a whole 2 hour process even with an appointment.

I went here to fix my automatic car stalling. they first thought it was the battery, then the pcv value, then carbon build up. $3k down and the day i got my car back it was still stalling and had an engine check light that wasn't there beforehand. They took it back to replace another value. still didn't work. it took so much time back and forth to get my car fixed from this shop, they missed my calls often and didn't communicate clearly. went and got my car fixed for less than 1/4th of the cost here and got my car back within two days vs. nearly two weeks at this shop.

Came in for oil change, not knowing that my brakes were beyond their life. Their digital report showed me how bad and their service advisor was super helpful with explaining it all to me. She really knew her stuff! Waiting room was nice, enjoyed the candy & my limited interaction with the techs were all pleasant too. A+++ would definitely be back again. I was traveling home to Erie, PA from working in DC for two weeks with a car jammed full of stuff and two dogs when my brake caliper locked up. My car was not fit to drive home. Luckily, I randomly found this shop. Not only did they do an emergency repair for me at the last minute, they treated me like a long time customer. Great business, very reasonable prices, with even better customer service. It s also the cleanest auto repair shop you will ever go into. Highly recommend.Service: Brakes

I have been going to Dynamic Auto, Frederick location on Byte Lane, for several years and have always been more than pleased with their services. The entire staff is super friendly and accommodating. Bob goes above and beyond to ensure that all of my vehicles are maintained properly. The work is always done in a very short turnaround time. We love Dynamic mostly due to the great customer service we receive and the ability to get things scheduled and handled. Courtney is the best at making sure we are taken care of. We have three older vehicles so it is like a revolving door with our house and dynamic. Was referred by my family, after they had a great experience. Always, ALWAYS check ONE STAR REVIEWS on ANY product or service BEFORE doing business. I should have checked the reviews.The End Story First:What it came down to as far as the state inspection is as follows:The front steering control arm bushings showed wear so they said we had to replace both complete arms with bushings.They also said my hood struts needed to be replaced.The cost quoted was way in excess of $3,000.00.I knew that quote was way too high; the charge for the hood struts including labor was around $325.00.I took my car to another mechanic to replace the control arms for $1,200.00THENI ordered two hood struts from Amazon for a whopping total of $19.00 for both.I popped the old struts off with a screwdriver and popped the new ones on. That took 5 minutes.Total amount saved by NOT allowing Dynamic to do the work was approximately $1,780.00. Much more to be saved by never returning ever again.I then had to take my car BACK to Dynamic for final inspection with documented proof that the control arms had been replaced.You see, wherever you take your vehicle to have it inspected, the same facility has to reinspect it after the work has been performed, and then confirm the repairs in order for it to pass inspection.In a vehicle safety inspection, you can bet something will need repair.IMHO, Dynamic counts on that fact and most people are resigned to just let them do the work without shopping around.Dynamic gave us a whole list of things that needed done, that were NOT REQUIRED for the State Inspection. In addition, I was able to provide them with paperwork to prove that the work they stated needs to be done, had in fact recently been done at the dealership. They actually put in their report that it appeared my transmission has never been serviced when it was recently serviced at our dealership. Their system is, in my opinion, a scam to make more money on unsuspecting vehicle owners.Although we asked several times, Dynamic would not provide us with the official State Inspection Checklist.Instead they sent us a computer generated checklist from their own business that outlined work they said needed to be done. As a customer, it is hard to discern what items are needed to pass inspection and what items are the fluff added in by Dynamic's computer program.We took our car to another mechanic and HE called Dynamic to get the copy of the official state inspection checklist which only listed the control arms needing replacement.I would NOT recommend this business to anyone. Save your money and find an honest facility. They're out there, you just have to look.Service: Vehicle safety inspection
