Brought my '97 Firebird to JR for a new catalytic converter at recommendation of near-by body shop where I'd had the hood refinished. The "cat's" internals had deteriorated and were rattling. With only 47,000 miles on the odometer, the rest of the exhaust system was good. JR cut out the old "cat" and welded in a new high-flow replacement. Shops like Bent Just Right are hard to find these days. I highly recommend.

Totally messed up the exhaust tips on my Mercedes. They were heading different directions. He told me that it's custom... So pretty much I get what I get. Took it to brooks muffler and they made it look allot better.

I am I Car master . ASE master. 59 yrs old. My professional experience is that man does one hell of a job. The pipe wall is a nice thick ga. Thank you will bring the next project to him 1970 El Camino

JR the owner was very professional. He got me in within 2 days since my muffler was rusted out and I wanted to replace it with an after market one. He did an excellent job on my truck. I arrived on time for my appointment and within 5mn the truck was already on the lift for the work to start. I will definitely be going back there for my regular maintenance. I was in and out of there in no time after all the work was completed including some welding. Waiting area was clean and welcoming.

Brought my car in this am to bring the tone down a little bit. They brought me back to shop and showed me what they thought was best location and parts needed. Great prices, perfect welds.

Got referred to this place by a friend of mine for custom exhaust work. JR the owner is a great guy, solid work, great communication through the whole process. He is very passionate about his work, you can just tell when he talks about exhaust. I love the line he used when speaking to me, He is not perfect bit he is a perfectionist, and his work proves that. If you want to have amazing exhaust work done to your car i d highly recommend this place the owner J.R is a very laid back,pleasant and honest fellow he is very passionate about his work and will make sure your satisfied with finished product also gives honest prices unlike other shops trying to up charge you..if i plan on getting more stuff done im definitely coming back here! Very satisfied with my visit!

I recently took my 1979 Z28 to Bent Just Right for a header back exhaust system. JR was patient and extremely knowledgeable and his prices were extremely reasonable. He installed an H-pipe system that not only sounded great but looked like car show quality as well. All pipes were fitted perfectly and welded with expert precision. I cant say enough good things about this place and JR. If you have a classic car or any car at all, you are wasting your time going anywhere else!Service: Exhaust

After only 3 going on 4 week have i noticed that one of the welds on my exhaust was leaking exhaust fumes and dripping a lot of water.

This was the most positive and honest experience I've had in a long time. Firestone told me I had a hole in my muffler. These guys found a patch in the pipe that I didn't even know existed, which was the problem. The repair of welding in a new piece of pipe was over half the price for this repair. Highest regards for honest business standards and I would recommend that everyone in Harford county use them.Service: Exhaust

Was referred to them from the folks at complete auto in Bel Air. JR is the man. Had to get a new exhaust on my sedan. Since we were doing a complete rebuild JR helped with a catback. I dropped my car off Monday morning , Tuesday morning it was ready for pick up and was a few hundred less then originally quoted. He will tell you up front he won t mess with anything above the catalytic converters but he put a nice aggressive exhaust and muffler and I m very happy. He offers both steel or aluminum pipes.

Bent Just Right is a great shop. JR is very professional and knowledgeable, and was so incredibly patient while answering all of my questions. I recently brought my car to them for service after having another car serviced about a year ago, and yet again, was not disappointed at all. I highly recommend them.Don t be swayed by the negative reviews. The shop is upstanding, honest, and does top quality work.

JR was great with my Ram truck getting me in and out. Did a great weld up of my new exhaust, Very helpful and a very nice person to do business with. I'm looking forward to doing business with again. GREAT WORK JR THANKS A MILLION.

I called, wanted custom mid pipe done, guy asked if I had my cats, and I do, but the lowers was replaced with high flow. So the upper cat still there and the lower is a high flow performance cat. He denied to work on my cars midpipe(located towards the rear of my car) because I did not have my stock cats. All I wanted was custom tubing for my mid pipe. My muffler and resonators are still there. He said he s be fined 50.000 dollars if he worked on my car . He might if he called it on himself something so simple

Great experience! Clean office, Very knowledgeable Owner. Quality craftsmanship! Highly recommended! Beautiful job on my exhaust pipe. I had a second issue with timing. The owner had a suggestion of using a OEM crank sensor. Sure enough it fixed my problem!Thank you!

Highly recommend this shop. I brought my corvette in to get the exhaust system reworked and had a great experience. The shop is very clean and organized, and the waiting area is car guy heaven. J. R. is very professional and is an all around nice guy. You can tell he truly loves what he does for a living and takes a lot of pride in his work. He treated my car like it was his own, which was important to me when i turned the keys over. He had the work done in no time and I am very pleased with the result. The fit and finish is top notch and my vette has never sounded better. I came to his shop because of a friend referral and I can say with confidence I will be referring others as well. I recently had a lot of work done on my car and the service and respect that JR provided was outstanding. While repairing your car is a top priority JR always makes sure you understand what s going to be done so there are no surprises. His goal in addition to repairing your car is to educate you on what caused your failure, what part(s) needs replacing, and then inform you on ways to avoid the failure from happening again. JR the owner is a definitely a great and honest guy. Has taken care of all my exhaust setups and never sends me away with an I can t do that like some other shops in the area. High quality work with quick turnaround. Makes it easy to support that locally owned business. Bent just Right will always have my business and loayalty.P.S. do not listen to the one (and only) bad review on Yelp. My sports car is lowered an inch and a half all around and I can make into and out of the entrance with ease and without scraping.

After reading all the reviews, I took my 73 Mustang Convertible to JR for a custom dual exhaust system. I told him what I wanted and the look I was going for and he knocked it out of the park. His attention to detail and quality of work was the best. If you want it bent just right, this is the place to come. I'll definitely bring other work to him in the future. Thanks JR.

JR not only installed a custom exhaust on my 76 J10 but he provided great advice on its function, appearance and cost. More than just a mechanic but more like a resto-consultant. Highly recommended.

I've taken my cars to Mr JR several times. He is the most honest mechanic I have ever come across. He does great work at a very reasonable price, you won't find a better shop to work on your car!

Great place, and great service. The guy running the place is very knowledgeable and friendly. I had some exhaust pieces swelled yesterday and I know where I'm going from now on for anything. The exhaust fit together better than anything pre-made or other exhaust stuff that I've had before. The 3 inch pipe fit like a glove and because of that was extremely easy to weld up. You could probably use clamps and not have any problems, it fit that good.

I highly recommend @Bent Just Right?! Replaced my tailpipe and located and fixed a raddle at a very good price and in under an hour.
