This was my first time buying a boat through a marina and not just a person-to-person transfer. I'm still blown away by the Riverside guys months later. Every time I have a question or need something they're already on top of it. They handled registration, title for both the trailer and boat, they even handled the tags for the trailer. I worked with Josiah through my purchase and I only have good things to say. Overall very impressed by this operation and would recommend them to anyone in the market.

Just beyond outstanding in every respect. Our first boat and everyone there made us feel so special and never once was there any form of sales pressure. This is a family business that truly demonstrates the values that only great companies can dream of achieving.A world of thanks to Connor, Mike, Ben and Matt.

We got our awesome 231 Heritage from Riverside. We love the boat and Riverside. Matt and the crew were extremely patient with our inability to choose all the options for the boat, installing extras (extra cup holders, new Bluetooth kill switch, etc), and servicing the boat for the last two years. The communication and work has been great without gouging us on price.

I cannot speak more highly of our experience here at Riverside Marine. As first time boat owners, Matt and his team were incredibly patient with figuring out what boat was right for us based on our preferences. They also helped guide us (without being pushy) as we decided what options to add for the boat. We've had no issues with communication, as they were always prompt and clear throughout the whole process. Matt also went above and beyond! He helped us drive the boat safely back to our place after we picked up the boat. He certainly did not have to do that, and this is an example of the excellent care and service that Riverside Marine provides. I will be back for all my future boat servicing needs, and I absolutely recommend checking this place out!

I've been going to this marina for service for years with several different boats. They are always very responsive, timely, and fairly priced. This week they helped me troubleshoot an electrical problem with my Optimax since they weren't able to look at it for a few days. Prior to this they cleaned up a motor I bought from down in FL and serviced it over the winter for various salt water related damages that came with it. Incredibly helpful. I don't take my boats anywhere else. Jason and the team down there are the best!

First things first, our purchase is not complete as we will probably have another 90-120 days until our pre-ordered boat is built and shipped. We have not had any service performed because we don't have the boat yet. So, in a sense, this review may seem premature, but I do like to give feedback, and I will update as this process progresses.Ok, with the mitigating preface out of the way, I can actually begin a review. I am a federal adjudicator by trade, so you might guess I ALWAYS do my homework about EVERYTHING. To my delight, our salesman (not sure if that is his exact title, but it fits in this context), Matthew, was very knowledgeable. He knew pretty much everything I asked him. On the rare occasion he didn't know the answer, and that was indeed rare, he didn't attempt to BS me, but instead told me he would either find out, or looked it up right on the spot. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. In my profession my BS detector is a well-tuned machine, but with Matthew, it NEVER activated. Bravo!Matthew also put up with a whole lot of changes and questions from me. Believe me when I tell you, we went through absolutely every option before I pulled the trigger. He showed me the answer to every one of my questions on a comparably equipped vessel. It was refreshing to see such a commitment to customer service.I also respect their commitment to maintaining safety protocols during this pandemic. There were clear distancing, hygiene, and mask protocols. When one of their employees tested positive, they shut down for several days. This was especially salient to me because one of the days they were shut down was a day I was going to give them my down payment. You know what that tells me? Riverside Marine values everyone's safety. Again, bravo! What they didn't know what that I was looking at Monterey boats at the same time. Honestly, there was no need to tell them. If I had chosen a Monterey, I would have been forthright about it, because that is how I conduct myself. I am also a 3-tour combat veteran and integrity is my watchword. Anyhow, I point this out because when you order a completely loaded Bayliner, it would be foolish to not check out a standard or moderately custom Monterey. I simply do not feel the Monterey dealership compared to Riverside Marine. The Monterey dealership felt like a car dealership. At Riverside I feel like I matter to them.I was a little disappointed in the price. Many other folks seem to have gotten better deals on a build worth about 60k. That said, when Matthew told me that he got me the best price he could, I believed him. I got $500 for my status as a combat veteran and another $1500 from the dealership. Bayliner gave me zilch . So, I feel as though I was dealt with fairly.Summarily, I have no complaints whatsoever and generally appreciate the whole experience. They are quite simply, what a dealership should be. If you are in the market for a boat, check out a few places, then check out Riverside. My money says you'll use them!

I rarely post reviews but had to in this case. I can t convey a higher recommendation than to the men and women at Riverside. I purchased my Maxum 18 here and their sales and service staff were impeccable. Special shout to Josiah who walked me through the whole process. Looking forward to gettin her in the water soon. This is the place where you want to do business.

I've bought and sold many boats over the years and I can honestly say my experience buying from Matt at Riverside was by far the most stress-free seamless experience to date. Riverside is a family owned business and you can absolutely tell. Matt's aunt did my paperwork and was extremely helpful and pleasant. A week later I went back to Riverside to pick up my trailer and Matt's father met me outside to introduce himself. A week after that I had a few service related questions and Mike, an extremely knowledgeable tech, spent 30-40 minutes with me going over the motor and common maintenance issues and how to handle them myself. I couldn't be happier and I will definitely buy from them again... shouldn't be long until I "need" a larger boat :)

Just bought a used boat from Riverside and it was a wonderful experience. Connor in sales was an absolute delight!!! He kept in communication with us throughout the whole process, and answered any questions I had. I am very happy we bought from them and are storing our boat at Riverside.

Awesome group to deal with, recently had them service my prior boat at the end of last season before purchasing a new sportsman this year. Completely transparent throughout the entire process with all the issues affecting the industry, very responsive and helpful even past delivery. I'll be returning for service work and hopefully an upgrade at some point in the future

When my Mercury engine bricked after 5 hours, Riverside worked with me to handle the logistics and service of my brand new boat. They even picked it up, hauled it, and will bring it back once it's done. Can't recommend this dealership enough in terms of post-sale service.Thank you!

The entire staff at Riverside were great. We met them at the Annapolis Boat Show. We ordered our Sportsman Heritage 241 in October and just picked it up a week ago. Matt was great to deal with from the moment we sat down with him at the Boat Show to pulling away from the parking lot with a trailer hooked up. Matt kept us informed constantly throughout the process. They took the time to explain everything. We can t say enough about how professional and delightful they are.

While working with a broker we placed an offer on a boat. We were told the boat sat for 6+ weeks and no other buyers were interested at that time. The owner countered and before we accepted we asked the broker to see if the owner had a missing transom seat. While waiting for that info the sales manager sold the boat right from underneath us! The broker claimed he had no clue since he was out of the office and we didn t even get the chance to counter the other buyer! This is not the way to do business and we probably would have paid asking price to secure the boat. The sales manager lost the owner thousands of dollars and he tried to justify himself by telling us our offer was insulting, even though we were split by $1k. The boat needed a lot of cosmetic work and our offer was very fair. Buyers beware!

Great people and family run business. We ve kept our boat there on a lift slip for the past 5 years. They have serviced our boat and even secured a Mercury Marine funded upgrade / recall that saved us from future issues. Recent expansion and renovations are beautiful. Would highly recommend this business to all boaters.

Great buying experience. The family owned and operated business have experts (actual boaters) that can answer all of your questions about your boating needs. They remodeled their facility. They often will have days to test ride boats. An awesome service shop for work being done there or DIY parts. You should always check in to see about dealer rebates or sales packages (included options).

I first met this family(Dealer)at a local boat show. I have had several Crownlines and am excited about the new generation 2019 boats. Dave and his team have been patient helping us choose the right boat. Knowing that your family is there to take care of us after the sale means everything. Looking forward to launching our NEW next boat spring 2019. Thanks !

Brought boat in for service after calling. Was expecting work to take just over a week based on my phone call, but was pleasantly surprised when work was complete in 6 days. I also picked up a few supplies which were fairly priced at the parts department.

The company winterized and shrink-wrapped my boat, and did not remove the battery and did not disconnect it from the electrical system. I expected that this would have been done, but when I opened up the boat this spring, I found the battery to be completely dead, and it would not recharge. The service department at Riverside would not take responsibility for what I believe was their error. I will have to purchase a new battery.

If your looking for an honest, caring, trustworthy family owned business.....well this is your place! These guys are TOP NOTCH and customer service is their #1 goal. If your thinking of going elsewhere, I would strongly recommend you call Riverside first! You'll see what I mean when you do!

I ordered a Service Manual and they charged my credit card $212 without ever giving me a total. When I came to pick it up it was wrong so another person double checked and apologized and offered to reorder. Then next day I called to get credit and the original person that ordered said it was the right one and refused to credit the $212. I called another dealer and they ordered correct manual for $105. The other dealer said it was ridiculous to charge that much. Fortunately my credit card company understood. Very disappointed that a company would act like this. I should have read poor reviews first ... my mistake

Purchased a sportsman in the summer. Tried to get a price to get a windless put in and no one ever called me back. Took my boat in for some work and I cannot get a call back from anybody to give me an update on my boat. Communication is horrible!

This is my GO- TO marina for service, sales and parts !! Can't say enough good things about the service dept, they treat your boat as if they owned it. The Marina is family owned and make you feel like family every time you walk in the door. I wouldn't take my boat any other place!
