The place has some good parts, but but the lady at the checkout is RUDE. This is the first time I write a Google review, and trust me it s worth it. I drove for more than an hour passing other junkyards for me to get that kind of service. She was rude to another gentleman who was trying to help me. She needs to work on her customer skills otherwise the place will lose many customers.

Great salvage yard to find parts. Their inventory is huge and well organized by automotive manufacturers. At the front desk they can check their database and let you know which row to find the car you are looking for. Parts prices are good, and don't seem high. There is a $2 fee to enter the yard which is collected when you enter.

I used their tow service thru a third party to junk my car. All went as smooth as anyone could ask for. I would have given 5stars but the the driver was a little late. With that being said, I wish I had got the driver's name because he was absolutely awesome! He kept me updated on his ETA thru phone calls and texts. When he arrived he was very professional and very animated, he must have told me to enjoy the holidays more times than I can count on one hand and kept a huge smile on his face the entire time. All in all, if all the drivers are even half as good as he was, I would highly recommend their tow services if ever in need!

Highly disappointed with this place today , apparently power went out and the system was down and they didn t know when it would be back ok understandable, waited for about an hour in hopes of the system to come back so they can ring up parts. Decided to leave but asked since this was a wasted visit and couldn t buy anything to get my entrance fee back , I was told that who was in charge was in the office and couldn t be reached. Whomever was in charge is a poor manager and doesn t need that position.

Went online, found a car where I wanted to pull an ABS module,. The car had been there less than 2 weeks and was picked clean, despite the attendant telling me it still had the part on it. We found the doors of the vehicle (in pristine condition) hidden in another car several rows away. Maybe you need to install cameras because people are obviously stealing from you or remove valuable re-sellable parts like ABS modules which can go for up to $500 on ebay. People are taking cars apart and hiding the valuable parts elsewhere....to purchase later or to outright steal them? Who knows. Dishonest thieves always find a way to ruin it for everyone. It's sad because they have a lot of cars out there but if you go expecting to "pick your part", there is no guarantee that it will be there.

Lady at checkout has horrible customer skills. It's like she is incented to be rude. What kind of business would tolerate this? I saw 3 people leave parts on table due to her treatment of the situation.

Insanely expensive for garbage parts. This use to be a good place to go. Not anymore!!!! First you pay $3 just to walk in. Than you go through all the trouble of finding your parts. You pull it apart and take it to the counter. It s not till then they tell you the price. You can get brand new parts for what they charge for junk. I looked on the website and the prices listed were reasonable. However the lady at the counter doubles those prices. She s probably pocketing the extra money. A total waste of your time and money. EBAY is half the cost and you don t have to do a thing. Plus they guarantee the parts. Take it from me and avoid this place like the plague unless it s an absolute emergency. Just be prepared to pay high dollar. For examples, sun visors listed on PYP website $12/each, get to counter and lady said they were $28 each. On eBay they are $45 for 2 new ones. Plastic connectors not listed on PYP site. Get to counter and lady says $12 each. On eBay $0.50. Climate control unit, on PYP site $45, at the counter of PYP lady says $85, on eBay $45.

Good location , good selection of cars , and one staff member helped me haul my stuff up the hill with the truck,,, thx again. Only thing is the cashier has a serious attitude and beware of the extra warranty charges they automatically tack on, ask to opt out and u will save some $$$

Went to LKQ auto parts in Edgewood MD for a battery for my 97 T100 and was thrilled at first. The battery I bought was close to new condition except I forgot the posts were opposite of mine 24F to 24.Went back to trade it in and Chucky s Mother said no way. Really low life people and cliental. I guess that when you go to a junkyard you shouldn t expect much, I will never do business with these people again. They have a page on their website to state your case but no one gets back to you.

07/23/23 Absolutely horrible pricing, went to a pick your own part (requires you to find the car and physically take the part your searching for off the car) and pulled a motor from a 96-00 honda civic a d16y8 i was charged 537$ before the insurance which would have been another 100$. This is a motor i can find on market place all day for 300-400$ in good running condition ALL READY OUT OF THE CAR! I find this absurd and probably will never be going back to this yard as of today. Many reasons like the treatment by workers, pricing and over all condition of the vehicles etc. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!! Also the woman at the window is a real piece of work and has no customer service skills.

Went there today 6/18/23. The women at the window is very unprofessional and doesn't know the meaning of customer service. I was charged $500 for 2 hoods and light. I asked why it was so much, the lady was very rude and disrespectful. Beware of the women at the window, they like to steal money. Will never go back there again.

It's great to have a place where you can get parts for your car without paying full price especially when you are sure you can use a used one. The only bad thing that I noticed is that thecars are not where they're supposed to be according to the website. A plus that has changed recently is that now they do guarantee their parts that is a definitely plus. Will continue to get my used parts from there and suggest that you tried out

Just went there today Saturday 07/20/19. Best experience I've had there because the nasty fat woman wasn't there at the check out! She is very rude and overcharges regularly by charging for every part individually. I previously bought a USED bucket seat ($31.53) and she charged me separately for the tracks ($17.14), plus the environmental fee, plus tax for a total of $54.94! Didn't realize it at the time as I had other items on the bill also. If I had I would have left it there and bought a new takeout on CL for $75. I think the reason they are listed separately is for if you are only buying the tracks or the base separately. I've never had this problem at any of their other locations. I swore I'd never go back to this location, but they had the truck there that I needed parts from so I reluctantly went there again. Today was great, the guy at the checkout charged exactly what I saw on line and was friendly and helpful as was the guy up front when you sign in. A young kid that was working in the yard even brought water out to those of us working in the yard (100* today) and hauled my heavy parts up front for me in his "yard truck". That hill there is a killer! The moral to this story: Check to see who's working before you go out in the yard! That's what I'll do from now on. The 5 stars is for today only, not for my previous visit.

Called and all I got for 5 mins was a dam computer asking me questions and then hanging up on me. How about having a Human answer the phone ?

Worth the travel, worth the effort.I went to this pick your part yard. Not only did I find a hard to replace OEM bracket, but unlike new it was very affordable. The website/app is up to date, the yard is organized and cars are accessible. My interaction with the employees,(yes even the red head most of the negative reviews are about) was polite and courteous. But it's the selection and price that are the star of the yard. Check inventory first, bring your tools, take your time and you can get a real bargain. I bought 2 headlights, an air box and a frame bracket with all screws and fittings for less than the headlight assembly themselves.

Extremely friendly personable staff. Everyone was a pleasure to interact with. Very organized yard. Tons of vehicles. The online inventory is nice to look at before going also. Very accurate organization makes things so much easier to find.

Re-reviewing because I was dumb and decided to be financially punished at this place again.Walked up to counter with bent up tail light guards, front crash sensor, 1 short pigtail (not pictured), one raggedy piece of seat trim and a radio adapter all from a 2000 silverado. I would have been fine paying the parts total plus tax, env fee yada yada. Cashier straight up refused to remove the warranty when I asked because she was "already undercutting me for the brackets" since there was no category for them. That is not my problem, I don't want your worthless warranty on already damaged parts that i'm buying from a JUNK YARD. The whole warranty thing they have is predatory, they don't even warn people they're going to charge them for it. I can understand it for electrical parts, engine parts, etc but why do i need this for a piece of trim and brackets?Next time i'll take my chances getting scalped on evilbay instead of a corporation that supports things like this. We need more pick n pulls like the one in virginia beach up this way... Won't ever be coming back to this place, any sane person should look elsewhere.Oh, did I mention they charge you for bolts now? (see receipt pic)

This yard is a hit and a miss. Cars stay out here longer, but staff is salty and focused on the wrong things, lots of trash in cars. Found cars with battery still hooked up and AC charged. But they've got to label every part,

Known as Crazy Ray's used auto parts. Great service and prices. Check the website out because the vehicle list changes often. Junkyards might be an eye sore, but they help others to repair their vehicles at a cheap price. Highly recommend if your looking for something for your used car. 2 dollars to get in, must be 17 or older. No torches or power tools. Back packs are allowed but all bags (including compartments of bags) will be searched before and after going into the yard.-Skyhook

They need to instruct the cashier to advise people that you have to pay for the warranty before you pay for. Also giving unnecessary warranty to certain parts knowing darn well you don't need one on body parts. That's a straight up rip off.
