I am thoroughly impressed by my entire transaction, from diagnosis to final repair. Even though the technicians spent lots of time on diagnosis, I was not given a bill until the final repairs were complete. The team at Advance are far beyond in better than the actual GM dealer in our town. They figured out a problem. This family-owned and run business is aptly named and a stand-out in their field. Excellent customer service, diagnostic capabilities and prices. Good communication, courteous, knowledgeable, professional and prompt.They care about their customers and doing what s best for them more than making a quick buck. Unique these days and in this area. They were very helpful and gave me great advice each time I called them. They tested my battery that kept dying at no charge and ordered a new one when I was ready, rather than pushing it when the test showed it was weak but not completely failed, as I believe most shops would have done. Several months later, they checked out a tire that had gone flat and replaced two other worn tires. They performed some diagnostic testing of other issues and again only charged me for the new tires. Owner Smitty, Alex and Jack are wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this shop.Services: Tires, Electrical, Wheel alignment, Battery

We have always had great luck at this repair shop! They are friendly and fair each and every time we have dealt with them. We have an older vehicle and strongly feel that without their diligence at identifying problems before they become catastrophic issues it wouldn't still be running at 230k+ miles. It was my first time going there, I called in and they got me an appointment within hours. I got an oil change and tire rotation and was done within 45 minutes. We have been using advanced auto since they opened. Over time, they have performed all of the repairs I listed. They are always courteous, accommodating, reasonably priced, and on time. They communicate any problems immediately and are extremely good at fixing all problems. Let me just tell you that in the event of an automotive emergency these guys are a source of help. My car died as I got into town and I thought it was a alternator -they towed my car to their shop and turned out it was only a bad battery. They were quick and professional. Smithy n his mechanics were quite knowledgeable about why the fluid for the AWD needed to be changed past a certain mileage for my vehicle. I also needed a new battery as I could tell it's pickup when accelerating was decreasing. I appreciate them informing me if n when other maintenance items need to be taken care of. I drive an MK6 VW GTI and I took my car to a so called VW specialist in the area to get my problem resolved. They told me we drove your car and couldn t find anything wrong . Fast forward 3 weeks I take my car to Advanced Automotive for a second opinion. Right off the bat they were pleasant and courteous. I left my car overnight and the next morning they called me with the news that they found my issue and resolved it. Not only did they resolve it, they did so at a very reasonable cost. I am extremely happy with the service and will only be using them for my automotive repair/ service needs going forward.Service: Tires

I have been a customer of Advanced Automotive Services for years and will continue to be. They are honest and trustworthy, not your typical service center. If they call and tell me my vehicle needs something than I trust that it does. Super fast and professional staff! Dropped off my Jeep for regular maintenance and they were done in no time and made sure to check everything over. I went to several mechanics to figure out why my check engine light was on. Even went to Koons Toyota. No one there could find anything wrong either. Then a friend suggested Advanced Automotive. I can confidently recommend Advanced Automotive. My repair needs were time sensitive and Smitty personally stepped up and went above and beyond the call of duty to get me back on the road again.It has been a couple of months since the repairs were made, and I am completely satisfied that the repair was done right the first time, no follow-ups needed.Thank you to Smitty and company for such a stress free experience.

I've been taking my car here for a few years now and I have had unusual problems with my car over the years. They don't give up till they figure it out and they always do figure it out correctly! I know when I bring my car here they are going to fix the things that need to be fixed and nothing extra. They provide excellent service, are very professional and trustworthy, and the prices are fair.

I only write a Google review when somebody has gone well beyond expectations. "Smitty" is by far the best guy on the eastern shore to work on a corvette and any other electronic nightmare of a car. This guy knows how to troubleshoot ghosts and explain in simple termanology what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. He does his best to keep the cost down and I have been very satisfied with how he has kept my car from the dead. It's scary when a nice car you cant really afford to fix anymore breaks down , Smitty at Advanced takes those fears away and he deserves the credit for his skills and professional attitude.

This is by far one of the best mechanics I have ever been to !
