J&K is the only place I go to get work done on my car. My family and I are repeat customers and have always gotten excellent work done by them. They are fair and honest and do not try to overcharge you like other places. I would highly recommend them!!

If you're looking for a trustworthy shop to care for all of your auto maintenance/repair needs, you'll not find any better than J & K. If for some reason they can't fix your problem (I had a complicated Muffler issue,) Billy will send you to someone that he vouches for! It's a win, win, all the way around!! I personally love their decor choices, as well as the music that they play. So, if you need to wait for your vehicle, the atmosphere in their waiting room is not only relaxing, but uplifting as well.

I heard a noise coming from my car, and a friend suggested this place. Decided to give it a go, and I had no regrets. Not sure who I dealt with, but he was very friendly and kind. I'll definitely be coming back here for my car repairs.

On 3/7/2022, I had my car towed to J&K for a surging idle/misfire/crank-no-start problem. When I dropped it off, I didn t sign anything. They did not call me with any updates, estimates, or requests for authorizations - not once. *I* had to call *them* to get any updates, and even still there was no mention of cost or requesting authorization. On 3/9 they called to tell me it was fixed, and the bill was $910 (surprise! this is the first mention of money whatsoever, *and* the first time they called me). At this point, I m not happy with not receiving any estimates or requests for authorization (they ordered and installed two parts without notifying me AT ALL), but I figured whatever, if it s fixed I ll just eat it and be on my way. I picked up my car, paid with credit card, and started it up. It starts fine, but the surging idle and misfire presented themselves within 30 seconds. Turns out it is not, as they claimed, *fixed*.I do most of the work on my own car and have done so for a decade. I understand that troubleshooting problems is like chasing elusive gremlins. But they were not upfront with me at all and most importantly did not acquire any written or verbal authorization for the parts and work they ended up doing, which ultimately did not end up fixing the problem anyway. Maybe it solved the no-start problem, but they clearly did nothing to check and see if the surging idle/misfire was gone (which took 30 seconds and two ears). Worst of all, they have clearly violated commercial Maryland law which states the following:� 14-1006. Unauthorized repairs.An automotive repair facility may not charge the customer for repairs not originally authorized or requested by the customer. Additional repairs may be charged to the customer if the automotive repair facility receives written or oral permission from the customer.� 14-1002. Written estimate for repair work.(a) Written estimate requiredI called J&K at 11:33 AM on 3/11 to express my frustration with not having the problem fixed as well as regarding the lack of communication about authorizing the work in the first place. No one answered; I left a message. I also asked them to please share what the results of their diagnostic tests were, as I am trying to troubleshoot the problem myself. It's 4/28 and they have not called me back.They are really nice guys and I'd like to believe J&K is highly reviewed for a reason, that perhaps my dealings with them were a fluke. But I am not impressed. They never got my authorization for any of the work they did outside of diagnostics, and they threw OEM parts on the car without getting the okay from me. I was in the dark the entire time they had my car, no estimates, no nothing until BAM, it's "fixed," $900 please! Know your rights, my friends. Mechanics are obligated by law to get your verbal or written authorization for any work they do on your vehicle. Demand it if you have to. Don't be like me and pay hundreds of dollars for a job I could have done myself for much less, if only they had been transparent with me.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

For awhile now I've been going to J&K off of an initial recommendation from a trusted friend and cannot boast enough about how good their service is. Basic bottom line; every time I have an issue, J&K also makes my truck feel brand new driving. I have over 15 certifications through Mitsubishi and the port so I know a bit about cars but I basically trust these people with my life. Have never had a discrepancy issue or anything. Prices are really great considering you get oem parts which might be a problem for some, but you have to consider that you are getting factory parts made specifically for your vehicle and not just 3rd party rebuilds. The price a dealership would charge for their exact service can be 5x as much. And I know because I been through it. These aren't weekend hobby workers, they know their way around cars and do an amazing job.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Rick, Billy and the whole crew are the best!!!! They are VERY TRUSTWORTHY, friendly and they get the job done right the first time. I procrastinated on getting my brakes done. I caused MASSIVE damage to my braking system by procrastinating. They fixed my brakes according to manufacturing standards and nailed it the first time. I HIGHLY recommend J & K to anyone needing trustworthy mechanics!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Rick and Billy are amazing. I am so grateful to have technically sound, but more importantly HONEST mechanics right here in Dundalk. I bring all of my vehicles here for routine maintenance and the occasional battery or muffler. They take care of me and they take care of my vehicles. I have recommended them to many people and all come back to thank me.

J&K is my go-to place for regular maintenance. I called up, spoke with Rick, and ordered some new tires, at a reasonable price. A few days later, when they came in, I dropped my van off, and picked it up same day. I used the off-hours drop off AND pick up systems that they have in place, and you won't find a friendlier mechanic. Great job again, guys!Services: Tires, Oil change

I cannot say enough good things about J&K. They do great work, are honest, and very polite. They saved me over $500.00 that another garage was trying to charge me for unnecessary work. I don t plan on taking my vehicle anywhere else for maintenance.

Super friendly people! They were quick to schedule my Honda Pilot for repairs after doing an estimate and had it done in a VERY reasonable timeframe. My pilot drives smooth and quiet now! Will definitely be returning for any future repairs or regular tune ups.

Billy is the man. Just had him do replace bad spark plug, Great guy and great people over at J & K. Very honest. Any future vehicle work will be through J & K for me.

When I took my car to get checked at J&K, they couldn t figure out what was causing the thumping on the front left side of my car. They charged me almost $100 for something they couldn t figure out. They referred me to their transmission friend. He also couldn t figure out what was causing the thumping, so he charged me over $100. It was unfortunate since I trusted their expertise and advice, instead I was charged twice for something they couldn t figure out. Seemed like a nice referral system for them.I took it to another shop and their technicians were able to diagnose the problem and fix it all within 4 hours. It turned out it was a bad wheel bearing.

Although I didn't get my V fixed by them they were very nice, pleasant, informative, and above all completely honest. When I left I wish I had to get my car fixed by them just to give them some money and that's the only reason why I gave four stars instead of five.

Took my car here after having it sit at the dealership for two weeks with know work being done. They were able to identify and fix the vehicle quickly for a reasonable price. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, highly recommended to anyone looking for a trustworthy auto shop.

This is where you want your car fixed. They are extremely honest and do the job right the first time. Always take my car to them. Nice waiting room. There is a peacefulness that you can feel in the place. I was a mechanic for many years and I can tell you that they are trustworthy , proficiant and honest. They happen to be a real Christian business , a real one not fake. They are the real deal. Working on cars is a tough way to make a living . Very dificult and rough business to be in but the place runs smoothly because of the owners and employees good character . They have a weekly Bible study on Thursday night's. I said earlier that was a feeling of peace about the place. That is because of the Godly actions and faith of the owners and mechanics there. It's a good atmosphere, like some churches have. Take your car there and give them a try. I trust them.

I have taken my car to them on several occasions. They are honest, do good work and are friendly and courteous. I live in odenton and drive way over to Dundalk just for them to fix my car. A good trustworthy mechanic is hard to find so they are worth the drive!!!

They are the best!! Any work they do for you has a warranty, they have awesome employees, and they are very honest!! They literally figure out the problem, fix it, and your good to go!! I highly recommend them!! That's the only place I take my car!!!

Finally I found a great mechanic! When you will walk in, you will see that they were on the cover of some Christian magazine for being "honest to God" mechanics. It's true! I left a very happy customer and will return to them every time.

Everyone complains about dishonest car mechanics and how difficult it is to find reputable, reliable, forthright, competent and honest repair shops. This is one of the few. Billy and Rick have made it a point that if their shop cannot be run the right way then they wouldnt have bothered to run a business at all. What you will find here throughout the entire shop are people of integrity and principles who care about the quality of their work and about the lives of those who bring their vehicles to them. This is not just a job for these guys; it is a calling. I have been richly blessed just to get to know these guys let alone the help they've given me in fixing my car. How can you not give an auto repair shop like this one the highest recommendation possible? I am sure God will continue to bless this business for everyone that encounters them is blessed.
