If you are looking for a honest mechanic, this is the place to take your car. They specialize in older cars. Most places I went to would not work on anything older than 2000. Very respectful of your car, and are very reasonable with their prices.

Ive been going to AYD auto for years now! Will and his staff are always so nice and honest. Recently had a small repair and went to a shop closer to me and was turned down over a 10 min job. Silly me I should have came straight here because they fixed me up in no time. Thank you so much for always being reliable and giving 10/10 customer service

The gentlemen that work here are phenomenal and they've always done Good work on my car . I've been going to them for over fourteen years and would never go anywhere else .

I wish I could give AYD's more than 5 stars. Will (owner) & his gang are honest/responsive, affordable, and will not try to to sell you on unnecessary repairs. This is the first experience I've had with a mechanic that I've completely trusted, and have never once felt taken advantage of. I have a 1970 VW Westfalia Bus, and it doesn't matter what the problem was, they were able to fix the issue in less than a week.Will, Alex, and Kenny - I want to thank you for being so gracious over the past year, there's no one better than you guys. Thanks again for all that you've done.

I am writing this letter to express my deep dissatisfaction with the poor mechanical service I received at your car repair shop. I brought my car to your shop for estimate, but unfortunately, the service I received was below standard.I was appalled by the poor customer service I received during my visit. The owner was rude and unprofessional, racist , and he showed no willingness to address my concerns or provide adequate explanations for the poor workmanship.I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received at your car repair shop. You are not only culturally incompetent; but trying to hide your inefficiency by being rude to others.

I had to get new tires and Willie recommended where to buy them from so I saved a lot of money right off the bat. Installation was quick. I needed new wiper blades and the brand they recommended and ordered for me are very nice and quiet as they glide across. I can tell it's a quality product. My car drives smooth like new now with the new tires. Ayd Automotive is very professional, they know cars, all makes and models, inside and out and they won't give you the run around on pricing. Definitely recommend them for your car repairs.

I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. People still appreciate good quality service along with honesty, and I feel they deliver that every time. I never second guess the recommendations that I have received from the owner. He has helped nurse my almost 200,000 mile car back to life!!! When others told me to trash the car, AYD said that wasn t necessary. I just had a few small issues that needed to be addressed and so far my choice to listen to that advice has paid off. I am so glad that my father told me to go to this shop, it has been a lifesaver.

After 19 with the same shop and mechanics, I was looking for the next reliable, honest and fair-priced shop. FOUND IT! Took vehicle in for Check Engine light and owner told me what was existing with my exhaust system and what he recommended providing me with two options and an estimate. Also, mentioned that I had an oil leak and did not pressure me to get that service done that day. Receptionist nice and friendly. I went in on a recommendation and now recommend the place myself. If you need to wait there is a place to sit or walk around. Lunch places with walking distances. Sometimes you have to go out of your way to find a good thing... and that's just what I did.

Willie was so very accommodating to fix the issues with my car. He was able to get me in the shop within a couple of hours after speaking to him. Willie called me right away after he diagnosed the problem and he called me back by 2 pm to say my car was ready. Willie is honest and beyond fair for what I was charged. I am actually looking forward to future work that may be done, he is the go to man for VW s. Thank you Service: Battery

They seem like good honest people here and are straight to the point. I used to take my VW to a different shop in Dundalk, paid double for an oil change and always came out with a list of potential problems. Doesn't happen here and my car is going strong.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Ayd has been our go to for over 10 years now. We learned the hard way like most and it took a solid year to find a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. He doesn't waste your time and is able to fix and diagnose rather quickly. It's nice to feel like you have a friend in the business and the family owned feel is extremely welcoming and often overlooked. Ayd is extremely knowledgeable with the ability to work on German car's without overcharging because of it. We were actually recommended by an audi dealerships mechanic that felt bad about the ripping off that had happened to us. He suggested Ayd as he used him for his and his wife's cars. We have had a BMW and Volks as well as our truck's and Mazda worked on by ayd. He is a great mechanic that is honest, professional, knowledgeable and affordable. We will continue doing business and recommending Ayd .

We live in Hunt Valley and have been taking our cars to Ayd since we started buying Audi's. Ayd is very diligent, service oriented and fair. They have the technology to work on German vechilces and lot of other brands. Mr. Ayd is honest and a very reputable mechanic, his sister Dolly will make you feel like family!

Ayd is like family they are great people. Very honest and they don't try ti rip you off. He has worked on my german cars since i been buying them. Hr doesnt try and squeeze every dollar out if you. Dolly is a sweetheart anf Willie knows his cars.

AYD works on almost every car. Their specialty is foreign cars. They are great with Porsche and jaguars. I would recommend this shop to everyone, but don't be surprised. It is a small shop hidden away in Dundalk. I drove by it for years and never knew it was there.

After a long search for an auto body shop other than the dealer, a friend suggested AYD Automotive. I took my 2004 Mercedes "Kompressor" to have the "Power Steering Pump" replaced also a "air pressure hose". Well let me tell you the service was impeccable, they went way far and beyond the standard "customer service" I won't get into to much detail, but I was very impressed with the "HONESTY" and understanding of my issues. I highly recommend taking your car there, I PLAN TO AGAIN! Thanks Will and Dolly

Great experience taking my car there. I drive a 25 year Oldsmobile - not only can I count on Ayd to fix her up as needed, but they also recognize she's an old girl and don't try to sell me unnecessary things.

Completely genuine and honest. Was told from another mechanic that it would cost $1700 for repairs, Will at Ayd Automotive did the job for $68
