What a fantastic garage. The manager is exceptional. He walks you through each step of what is to be done how long it will take and what the cost will be. The staff did a superb job and I will recommend ACI to all my friends. What I really liked was the manager would call you each day and let you know the progress of what was done that day and what s about to be done. I never had to worry about the work being done. When I got my car back I was blown away by the quality of their work. Call them today, don t delay.Service: Painting

I would recommend this shop for auto body repair. I wanted my front bumper repaired because it was covered with rock chips and the lower half was scuffed up pretty bad from going over curbs due to how low the car is. I knew it wouldn't be a 100% fix, but they did some body work to remove the majority of the deep scratches prior to prepping and painting. I was satisfied with the final product and their pricing was very reasonable. It almost looked like a brand new bumper. I docked one star because there was a bubble in the clear coat which sticks out and some orange peel, but I think a good detail can fix this. Also, it was not ready when they said it would be. I had to call every day to check if it was ready after the original given date. I found it odd they didn't bother calling me to let me know they needed more time or that they didn't call when it was finally ready. All in all, I was happy with my bumper.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My insurance company sent me to a different body shop initially where they repaired my rear bumper just fine, but they installed the bumper completely incorrectly which caused my trunk to stay forever-open after I opened it today for the first time since the repairs. It was about to start raining, and I had no good way of shutting the trunk, so I called ACI and they made time for me within a few minutes of making the call, and then reinstalled/aligned the bumper correctly in just 15 minutes, and I was on my way. It's now raining a bit, and my trunk is happily closed and the car looks great.Thanks, ACI for the excellent customer service, and perfect work.

Wow, I'd give them a 10. Fast, efficient and friendly. I didn't want to take my car somewhere where I'd be paying for the bells and whistles (i.e., piped in music, artwork on the walls, cubicles, 'appointments necessary...etc). ACI focuses on doing excellent work only. AND!!!! They cleaned the inside of my dirty car!!! So impressed!!! Prices were reasonable - saved over 1K compared to other body shop quotes in Columbia and can't imagine any of the other shops doing any better (especially with that bonus of thoroughly cleaning out my car).

Extremely pleased with the quality of work and high level of customer service. Brought in my brand new vehicle with significant body damage, and the staff at ACI ordered the parts the same day and got working the following morning. The work was top quality, on-schedule, and on-budget. Great customer service is a plus.I would definitely come back to ACI in the future.

Automotive & Collision did repair on my car after a have been in a car accident and they were great. They took care of all issuance paper work and give me an estimate within a timely matter. Not only did they repair the damage to my car but they were also able to do some minor touch-ups to the rest of the car to make sure that I got it back in top condition. I was only without my car for a few days and they were mindful of the fact that I needed it back quickly to save money on rental car costs.If you want a complete job well done, and want to work with an honest owner, this is the place to go!!

Automotive and Collision has been taking care of my vehicles for nearly 20 years. They are very professional and courteous, They do a great job and their pricing is phenomenal. I deal with Herzel himself and I could not find a more honest and courteous mechanic to deal with. I would recommend this company to anyone.

A father and son small shop with really outstanding work quality. I brought my car and received an immediate estimate. No need for reservations like some other shops. They did the work in a few days and the results were excellent.

These guys do great work and faster turnaround than others. I was told by another shop that supply chain issues would mean a delay of a month before they could even start work! ACI took my car right away and had it done before the other guys could even start. This is my third time working with ACI and I won't bother shopping around anymore.

three weeks ago, I got into my first crash as a new driver and was recommended to this shop by my coworker. I was greeted by the office secretary, she was nice helpful, Talking to Hertzel I found him to be very informative and walked me and through each step of what is going to be done to my car. The process and fixing my car only took about a week! Very fast, very efficient

I ve used a lot of body shops over the years. ACI ranks #1. Hertzel is honest and patient with me when I ask 100 questions. It s important to him that I understand what is going on with any car service he s providing. He also is aggressive with making sure my insurance agency is involved and doing their part. Laziness has no place at ACI. They work hard to make sure my car is running smoothly, the work is done well, and that it s a pleasant experience for me. Hertzel goes above and beyond. Automotive & Collision Center, 6655 Dobbin Road. Columbia, MD 21045As a long time customer of the previous owners (J&J Auto Body) of this location. I was saddened to find that they were no longer in business. Mainly because of the convenient location, great work, fair pricing and honesty. Just last week, I decided to have some much needed paint work done on my MB CL500(My Baby) and decided to try the new shop under new ownership. I must say. I was very pleased with the work, price and personality of owner Hertzel. I was even more impressed when I mentioned another problem I was having and that I was going to take it to the dealer. Hertzel said, let me take a look at it. He checked it out and cleared the problem. I am very impressed with this place and they've got my business.Thanks Again.

ACI has excellent customer service. The owner is an honest and fair man. My Toyota was having trouble starting so I first took it to Batteries Plus to have the battery test and they told me it was likely my alternator going bad. So I took my car to ACI because it was just down the street and had them perform a diagnostic test on it to see what the true issue was. Hertzel (the owner) felt confident after the test it was just the battery. ACI gave me a quote for a new battery, but Batteries Plus could sell me one for cheaper. So Hertzel told me if I got a new battery from BP and brought the car back to him, he would perform another diagnostic test and only charge me for one. So that's exactly what I did and haven't had any issues with my car since then. The level of service was far beyond what I expected, especially for being a walk-in late in the afternoon.Bottom line: if you need any maintenance performed on your car... BRING IT HERE.

I've had the pleasure of working with Automotive & Collision after my BMW broke down.They run a great business, and Herzel is absolutely great to deal with. He was up-front about costs, and was very timely with the service I needed done.Overall, I highly recommend Automotive & Collision, and would absolutely do business with them again. Prices are very reasonable, and their service is exceptional. BMW stealerships wanted $1266 for the work I needed done; Automotive & Collision charged $896 !!!Thank you, Automotive & Collision. I will return for any future service work!

I brought my car in and Hertzel originally stated it would be a two to three week process. I gave them the benefit of doubt and expected three to four weeks. At the four week mark Hertzel explained it would be an extra day or two because one of their techs was sick. When I called to see if it was ready in two days they said they found another dent they originally missed and it would be another day inorder to paint it. The next day I called and said the windshield wasn't ready to be installed so it would still be another day. After 40 days of being at their shop they allowed me to pick it up. When I came to pick it up I noticed many things still wrong with the car. I had to leave it for another week. When I picked it up the second time they still missed a few items. This has been this worst experience I have ever had, their attention to detail is awful and their techs apparently are not well trained to properlyfix items. Don't waste your time with this place find somewhere else to go.

Excellent work and very accommodating, especially when dealing with a miserable auto insurance company. In the end we prevailed thanks to Mr Herzel's patience and persistence.The bodywork and paint job were perfect.I already have recommended this shop and will return without hesitation.The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and most friendly.Thank you ACI.

I've been going to this shop for years. I've brought multiple cars there. It's a family-owned business and everyone is so nice! As long as I'm in the area and they are up and running I'll be bringing my cars there.

My Subaru Outback was rear ended. I had superficial damage to the rear bumper and the compartment for my spare tire was pushed in. ACI was able to quickly repair the damage and answer all my questions. Importantly, they stayed in contact with me to give updates on the status of the repairs. I would absolutely go to them again for any repairs I might need.

Raquel at the front desk was wonderful. They did a wonderful job repairing my car. Hertzel was very informative and gave me the best deal. I am so glad I went there. Will go back and refer them to friends. Their employees were also very nice. Extremely Happy with the results. They get a 10!.

The work to repair/replace the rear bumper on my 2011Toyota Camry was perfect and the personnel there excellent communicators and very profession. Price was very fair. I liked them so much I am bringing back a Toyota Carolla today to have its bumper replaced. Shows how good they are!!

I just had to say something about the people who work in this Shop!!I Love their dedication to helping and doing all they can to save me money!I took my Mercedes to another shop for maintenance and they tried to tell me something else was wrong with my car and that if I wanted to take care of "My Baby" I would need to replace certain parts that didn't make sense to me and so, my girlfriend told me to go to see these people and they just smiled at me and said "You don't need all that"They took care of my car promptly and my bill was not $1500.00 like the other shop was going to charge me.. I'v been back to them since and Love their work!! I'm sending everyone there, you should go too.

Best Autobody repair in Columbia MD. They helped me file the claim, drove me home when I dropped my car off (and they didn t have to), so polite, great work, car runs much better now too!!! I dropped my car off on a Tuesday expecting to pick it up Thursday. When I called late Thursday they had not even begun to work on it. Th manager then began to give me grief about why I was upset. He was actually yelling at me and not apologizing for their lateness. Awful customer service.Service: PaintingService: Painting

They are very irresponsible and quality of work is very bad. I gave my car for bumper replacement with original Honda parts. But they replaced with other parts(not Honda) which is really bad. They never informed about it until Infound it. I don't recommend them.The reviews are fishy because either they have 5 stars or 1 star.

My fender and skirt were damaged in a minor collision so I took it here. I was offered OEM or aftermarket parts for the fender and the skirting was simply repaired. To minimize my time without the vehicle, they agreed to remove the skirting to repair it separately and ordered the bumper to be painted ahead of time. When it came time to have the parts put on, it took 3 hours, exactly what I promised. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Great shop to deal with. Always called me with updates on the progress of the repairs. Hertzl is well organized and efficient. Car looks and feels like it did before it took a slide on the black ice and found the curb.

Had a rusted bolt and couldn t get my license plate off. Went to two other auto shops neither of whom could get it off. Came to ACI and they were able to take it off and even put on my license plates in less than an hour. I highly recommend them!
