After my car window was shattered, due to an overnight intruder, I didn't know what to do. Filing the standard police report, it was suggested for me to go to a reputable window replacement company. However, they were unable to serve me because of my older model vehicle. Nevertheless, I thought of Brandywine Auto Parts and called them. Joe, who mans the front desk, readily answered the phone. He did a search of parts and found what I needed. I set up up a day to come in, and they took care of me. Didn't wait very long, and the waiting area was clean. It had vending machines filled with snacks and drinks. Also, I walked to the adjacent auto supply store to browse and see what's available.Joe kept me updated regarding the time remaining before my vehicle would be ready. He also introduced me to the gentleman installing the window (didn't get his name), and he was kind as well. I was there for almost two hours, which wasn't a big deal for me. I left feeling relieved that I could drive my vehicle again without being in harm's way, Thank you to Joe and the crew at Brandywine Auto Parts. You turned a bad situation into a good one. I would highly recommend Brandywine Auto Parts for your auto needs, especially older model vehicles. Professionalism, knowledge, and promptness were definitely selling points to me.

As a Business owner, I do not like leaving a bad review because I do understand that employees sometimes have bad days. My experience at this facility was terrible. I stopped at this store to pay for and pick up a part that i thought was put aside for me. I spoke with a heavy set gentleman that was sitting at the counter, he had the worst condescending attitude that I have ever seen in my life. His attitude I guess reflects the kind of parts they sell. It is sad a company that big and that does that amount of business cannot spend some money on training their employees on how to treat customers. All the owner has to do is to play back the lobby camera on 01/23/24 at about 3pm and see how potential customers are spoken to.Update 9.24pmI do appreciate you looking into it, I was told by my parts guy that he spoke to dsmith, I tried to show your parts guy a copy of the invoice after he stated that there was not a dsmith that work there, the order#is198153/3 if you want me to be specific, Mr Brandywine which is what I will call him claimed that the invoice was a credit, keep in mind I just bought that part an hour before I came in I needed a second piece which we were told was there and would cost $150. He probably could not read the numbers on my phone which I tried to show him but he kept yelling that he did not want to see my phone and that I had to place the phone against the Covid screen. The point of this review is that the guy was extremely rude, it does not matter if I was buying anything, look and listen to the tape and you will get your answer, if you are okay with the way your employee spoke and treated me then I guess we have a different opinion about what customer service is suppose to look like.

Prices are reasonable. Would check before arriving as I traveled 1.5hrs only to be told they have 6 used batteries in stock. However, when I called ahead, they assured me there were plenty. Had to buy a new one.

Great place very good inventory on all make and models of vehicles..The customer lounge is has comfortable has a class room .Has the photos I updated are founded in . Two dollars admission to enter the yard with your own tools ....

Horrible experience, unorganized, extremely overpriced, and incompetent, In the end, I had to get a refund after waiting for the wrong ordered part to arrive despite taking the correct part needed into the store with me.. Never ever ever again. . Please heed warning.

This place is completely trash don't waste your time I've been dealing with them for five months about a transmission I paid for three times in labor junk transmission parts they keep giving me that won't work after a week... if you happen to have Billy as your representative please just hang up ..... The worst place you can ever go right now ...,0 STARS

I was very disappointed with my recent service. I purchased a used side mirror and specifically asked before the purchase if the used part was in good condition. I was told yes. No other disclaimer was provided to me until AFTER the part arrived and was installed. I saw the mirror was black when my car is silver! After complaining about it I was NOW being told that they don't guarantee the same color for the ordered part. I was very upset that I wasn t made aware of that when I purchased the part because I would have went somewhere else. Very deceitful way of doing business!Response: First off all you were NOT standing next to the front desk attendant when I made the purchase! He did not for once tell me it would be black. He said he was ordering a USED part. Please don t try to lie on here. When I went to the nearby body shop to get the estimate to paint the mirror..the staff there even said you guys are fond of not presenting all the details upfront.

Went here after noticing my window car shattered. Worked with Josh through the entire process of ordering and installation. Josh and the team worked around me going out of town. It was a perfect match for my 2015 Infiniti! And the price beat everyone's! Thanks !!

This merchant claimed to have the part I needed available for my car. They said it was in good condition and that once I paid for the part a ticket would be created to have the part I needed removed from the vehicle in their junk lot. I paid for the part and waited five days for the part. On the day I was told the part would be ready I called the store and they assured me the part would be ready at 12pm. A little after 12pm I called again and my sales representative informed me that the part I needed was damaged and could not be used or salvaged for sale. I was assured this part was in good condition when I paid for the part. I feel like my time was completely waisted with the games played regarding the amount of time it took for my refund to process and the time it took for me to confirm the didn t have a working part in the first place. If you don t have a part, don t take someone s money. Poor quality non reputable company. Would not recommend this junk yard or for anyone to travel to this location for any service. Highly disappointed customer.

I ended up fully returning my part. They then charged me 25% for a restocking fee because they ordered the part. I'M PAYING 25% THEM FOR THEM GIVING ME THE WRONG PART AND REFUSING TO CONTINUE BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY WILL GET YOUR ORDER WRONG THEN CHARGE YOU FOR IT. I traveled an hour away from my house n back to get jerked and stolen from.

Drove up on a Saturday morning for a part which I was able to get for a reasonable price (drivers side rear view mirror). I was told to return Monday morning if I want to get it put it on. No appointments just first come first served. I returned Monday morning, paid for the service just to be turned away because the mechanic called out sick. I was told to return the next day but there was NO guarantee. I had to get a refund for my money but I couldn t for my time!!I asked for a recommendation on somewhere close since I drove the hour, they weren t helpful in that way COULDN T provide a recommendation. I expressed how the mirror was banging against my window and door it was extremely to drive with. And they told me NO they COULDN T tape the hanging mirror given I drove the hour just to be TURNED AWAY with no reasonable solution.I won t be returning.I hope the owners response serves as a reason for you to reconsider stopping by as well.

If I could give 0 stars I would do not shop here "Philip" forgot to order my part and took my money and just thought that was ok he needs to be FIRED over a week went by I called back asked what was going on he said he forgot and ready just thought that answer was ok alot more happened all I can say is this is the worst experience of my life purchasing a part and I will never shop he r e again you shouldn't either

Went up there yesterday to order parts for my car. Was told that they would be ready the next day and that I would receive a call. Waited until noon to call and was given a bunch of attitude for simply asking if my parts were ready. After being left on hold for almost 30 minutes, I call back and am told by the assistant that " Oh the people who usually handle new parts are on vacation." as if that justifies their lack of customer service skills.Anyway, he says he's going to look up my order and give me a call back. Calls back just to tell me that nobody even put in the orders from yesterday. So if I never called nobody would have ever called me or even knew that I had purchased parts. Asked for a refund because there is absolutely no excuse for that kind of incompetence, I don't care who didn't show up for work that day. Please take your money to a business with more professionalism and consideration for it's customers.

Used their online contact to request a part. It's been a few weeks and still haven't seen a response. Why have an online contact if you aren't going to monitor/respond to it?Edit as Google won't allow responses: It's been close to two months and still haven't heard anything from these clowns. Reading through reviews, it looks like the owner uses replies to justify how much of a s#!t company this is. Avoid at all costs.

The junkyard closes at 4:30pm not 5pm as listed on their Google Search Page. Store should take the time to list hours separately for the Junkyard portion, so other customers don't end up disappointed. This was our first time here, and it was very disappointing after coming through rush hour traffic from work. We won't be patronizing this location at all.

Brandywine is dedicated to giving our customers the best product and service in the auto parts industry. What a lie. Drove 2 hours there and back after being referred by another trusted junkyard. Bought a motor for $650 after trade in and had one request which was to keep the wiring harness intact. They couldn t even do that. If you re buying a COMPLETE MOTOR I would hope that they would have the intuition to give you what you paid for especially after specifically requesting that the wiring harness stays on. It s not an extensive process to remove the harness either as it just requires you to remove one bolt. One of the fuel lines were broke off which means extra work to get it replaced when we re already on a time crunch. Customer Service was alright albeit lacking communication. They at least got the motor loaded quick. Overall extremely disappointed and will not be returning in the future.

Their ad says Brandywine is dedicated to giving our customers the best product and service in the auto parts industry. That was NOT my experience at Upper Marlboro location.I was told by Jonathan I was buying good transmission 2x both were damaged upon arrival, car s been sitting at shop, I needed my money refunded to buy another trans. before shop charges me for car sitting so long, was given the run-around about refund but they claim they sent it, then after being interrupted & hung up on 2 times, these guys tag-team lied on me (they said I was rude when I was trying to get my sentences out without being interrupted)!Jason & another guy were also involved. I heard the other guy lie & say to others I wouldn t listen when they were interrupting me. I doubt they would do this to a man. Discrimination.Pat/Mgr. apologized, but as a former Mgr. I know the reason these guys were rude is because they are allowed to be rude with no repercussions. Emailed the owner to let him know why I will not do business there again.

Good prices. They have wheel barrows you can use which is really helpful.Edit.Most of the guys there are rude and unprofessional.They get mad if you don't buy anything and try to push you into buying from them.High price for over the counter parts.

They had what I needed. A bit expensive for the damage it had but far cheaper than a new one. I will say though I'm not sure if the employees have attitude problems or that's how they are. So go in there with either a thick skin or smart brain. I'll also say there one customer needing to get out in their place and the employee had no problem doing. God I love our Country.
