I visited this location to get some tires installed that I ordered from tire rack. The location is very clean, they offer free water, coffee, and tea. alot of literature to read regarding the travel perks they offer. As a AAA member I got a discounted rate on my tire installation which was helpful! The Waiting area is kind of small, it's not apart from the representative work stations which isn't a problem. It's just minimal seats. Exactly 6. The wait was longer than I was quoted but Ithat's sort of normal going to dealership type of placesSo it seems everything went pretty well, except for the techs not putting foot paper down to help minimize the chances of tracking oils on the floor carpet

BEWARE!! Left our car for service 1/17/24. When my husband called three days later (once we received the estimate) to follow-up with the status, they could not find the car-- and it had been stolen!! When we arrived there to talk to someone, no one had any answers on approximately when the car was stolen; no camera information, they didn't even file a police report at the time that theydiscovered that it was missing!! Instead, we had to call the police to their location.... mind you, the car could have been missing for multiple days at this point!!We are seniors. My husband uses his car to earn a living!! When I asked the one lady at the kiosk 'Has this happened before? She said, "Yes..."usually " not this time of year...and typically catalytic converters!!!" Considering that no one had any information on tracking, cameras, or possibly when it was stolen, how do I not know that this kind of thing isn't an "inside" job.....? We are devastated that we have had no response from AAA and this location on the theft of our vehicle!! BEWARE!!

CONSUMER BEWARE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR AUTO TO THIS FACILITY! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!I brought my car into this location to fix a possible coolant leak (my auto was overheating). This was my first experience and they came highly recommended to me. AAA Brandywine advised me that they believed the cause of the coolant leak was due to my bypass hose which in turn will fix the overheating issue. They asked If I could leave the vehicle with them. I received a call from AAA Brandywine days later confirming that it was indeed the bypass hose and they told me I needed a new battery. After I authorized the work, Donnell emailed me the auto inspection for my vehicle, (which was performed when I initially dropped off the vehicle) and the auto inspection stated that my battery health was ok. Needless to say, they had me buy a battery I didn't need. They called me days later to pick up the auto after all the work was completed. Upon driving home (within less than 15 minute into my commute) my auto started overheat. I called AAA Brandywine back and advised them that auto was running hot still. I took the auto back to them so they can take another look. A couple of days later, they called me insisting that they couldn't get my auto to overheat. I picked up the vehicle again and upon driving home it started to overheat AGAIN. I took my auto back to AAA Brandywine a total of 3 times to rectify the issue however, they kept insisting that they couldn't get my auto to overheat. On the final attempt to allow AAA Brandy to rectify the issue with my auto and the repairs that they completed, I picked up my vehicle and the shop manager Tony came outside, while I was sitting in my car to argue with me about how they couldn't make the auto overheat and they've done all that they could do. On the way home, I recorded my temperature gauge showing that it was overheating after my attempts to rectify this with AAA Brandywine. I ended up taking my vehicle to another repair facility to fix the issue and it was the water pump the entire time. Again, this was my first experience with AAA Brandywine and sadly it cost me a lot of money for them to "fix" an issue that they DID NOT FIX and endure poor customer service. I will never go back there again and will not recommend this facility to anyone.

Please stay away from these people. You will probably do better buying a book on car repair and attempting to fix it yourself.A year ago my daughter took her car to AAA in Brandywine because she felt the car didn't sound right and was running differently. They charged us over $1,200 to fix her car. The next day she was coming home from school and the car over heated: the engine light came on, and the temperature warning alerted. We took the car back and AAA Brandywine informed my daughter that the overheating occurred because they didn't replace some sort of seal. They inform us that it would be another $1,200 to replace the seal. Fast forward to 12/27/2023 and my daughter takes the car back to AAA in Brandywine because the AC is not working. They charged us $200.00 for a diagnostic. Then inform us that the AC condenser and compressor both needed to be replaced. The AAA tech then sent us an estimate via email stating the repairs would be $1,900. Then the technician called my daughter and informed her that the cost would be $2,300.00 for the repairs, not the $1,900 in the emailed estimate. My daughter asked why there was a $400.00 difference in the emailed estimate and the verbal estimate. The AAA tech stated it was taxes. Maryland taxes are 6% not sure why AAA is allowed to charge excessively more state taxes then what is allowed by Maryland law. The AAA tech then asked her had she been in a accident. She stated she had. So the tech stated that the "accident" is what destroyed the condenser and the compressor. The tech didn't realize that what my daughter considered an "accident" was a piece of tire tread hitting her roof and her window of her car. The insurance company can confirm this.My daughter inform the Brandywine AAA tech to stand down and don't fix anything, she would come and get the car. She goes to pick the car up. And they hand her the service invoice and the declined services state the cost for the declined services was $1,700 dollars not the $1,900 in the emailed estimate or the $2,300 in the verbal estimate.I later Googled the cost for the service and the parts specifically for my daughter's car only to find that AAA seems to have 100% markup on parts. I know that you are about to say Google is not reliable but please hold you thoughts for a moment.I took the car to my sister's mechanic who is certified and owns his auto repair garage. He is very respected in her community. The diagnostic was $145.00. Yes, the compressor and condenser did need replacing. My sister's mechanic stated that the compressor and condenser had been destroyed because at some point the car had excessively overheated. I feel the excessive overheating was caused by AAA last year when the failed to correctly and completely fix the car.My sister's mechanic fixed the car for $1,200.00 which was $800.00 to $1,300.00 dollars cheaper then AAA based on which of the three AAA estimates you go with. My sister's mechanics cost were inline with Google and more traditional markup on parts (not what seemed to be the 100 percent markup by charged by AAA).Please take your car somewhere reputable and reliable. Please note I feel that the overheating was the result of the incomplete repair work they did last year which costed over $2,400.00. As such they want another $2,400.00 to fix what they broke.Buyer please beware "overpriced and incompetent. If these people are charging you anything over $200.00 please do your research and get a second estimate. I honestly wouldn't let them near a car but if you have no other choice don't take their word for anything money related or repair related. Consider yourselves warned.Update 2/23/2024. We ended up having to buy a whole new car. In my opinion the work performed by these people destroyed my daughter's car. The car was 7 years old and had less then 66k in mileage. She worked so hard to pay that car off and she loved "Carl the Car."

Let me start this by saying that if you come to this AAA establishment, please make sure to work with Simon and TaLyen. They were overwhelmingly helpful.I came in with a frustrating problem that has been plaguing me for a week with AAA. They both worked hard, investigated and helped guide me in the right direction where I eventually SOLVED my problem. So again, please make sure to look for Simon or TaLyen, they are both amazing and patient people.(They both need to get some promotions in my humble opinion)

I would not recommend this car care insurance to anyone, they have time & time again been unreliable always having an excuse about why something is done incorrectly and misinformed about policies. When I got into an accident it took them 3 1/2 hours to get to me to tow even though their estimated time was 45 mins to an hour & then brought the wrong tow & left me again for another 3 hours until the police ended up coming & helping me instead I had to pay out of pocket because they didn t show back up in time as traffic in the area where I was located started picking back up & it was very unsafe. My whole experience in the one month that I ve been with them has been horrible

Cars getting serviced by them get stolen from their facility! And they do nothing to help investigate or resolve the issue. They act like its no big deal & give you no help. If you take your car here then there is a good chance you car will be stolen !

I took my truck here for brake repairs, they repaired my brakes under my 2 year 24,000 miles warranty. One month later my brakes started smoking really bad and grinding. I called the Store to speak with the Store Manager. Got placed on hold for over an half hour. I called the member relations line and spoke with Jennifer Lacy case#436, I was told that the Manager would be contacting me, that was over two months ago. My truck was feeling like it didn t want to stop. This is very dangerous, and for AAA Club Alliance to ignore my concerns is horrendous. I spent a lot of money on my brake repairs. At this point, I just want my money back for the brake pads, rotors and calipers that I had replaced. This is awful and has been really traumatizing!

Good Evening, not too sure how many people use the Triple A in Brandywine but I wanna share my recent and last experience at this location. Took my car in for service and had to leave it for a few days... upon picking it up; low and behold my tags were stolen. Tried discussing this with the manager Cruz and he was super nonchalant about it and simply carried on about it, like it was business as usual. He yelled! Our site us public property and we are not liable... Use this location at your own risk. What an inconvenience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had been a faithful car care customer at this location with 3 cars over the last 6 years. Never an issue the first 3-4 years, but there's been something wrong at every visit since. Most recently, I got four different estimates for work requested. No change in the work, just attempts to overcharge for labor. Just prior to that on a different car, I'd been forced to replace year-old tires because they'd never been rotated during any of my oil change visits. Tire rotation and complete vehicle inspection are included services. They never even looked at my tires, otherwise they could have detected uneven wear and recommended an alignment. Prior to that, there was a time that parts were 'forgotten' to be ordered. Then when the part arrived and the work was supposedly completed, the car had the exact same issue when I left and needed to be returned for a warrant part replacement. Aside from the fact that the mechanics aren't completing all the services on the vehicles, the customer service reps treat you as if you're not entitled to truth and respect. And the new service manager there is the worst among them. Needless to say, they've seen the last of me and all the money I and my family have spent there over the years.

I have been a faithful customer here for a long time, but I will not use them again. DO NOT use this location for mechanical work. Darnell, a tech, lied to me about work that needed to be done. Another tech clarified for me and just rolled his eyes about Darnell. When I called with questions, Tony was extremely rude on the phone and hung up on me. Bad customer service and BAD mechanical techs. Don't trust them.

I'm disgusted with this establishment. I brought my car in to be inspected they failed me for a license plate bulb and then told me that if I didn't allow them to change it I would have to pay for another inspection. Which then cost me an additional 40 to 50 bucks. I brought my second vehicle up there for an oil change and for them to check my tie rods and upper and lower control arms. They told me there was nothing wrong and then proceeded to change the oil. Well, I drove the car the next day for a hour and 15 minutes to only see my indication light on the dashboard tell me that I only have 30% of oil. How is that possible, I just had an oil change the day before. Then to add insult to injury they charged me full price and no membership discount whatsoever. Not only that there's no parking for the customer in back of the building because it looks like a junkyard. I don't know why I should cancel my membership or just drive 30 minutes out my way to a different location.Service: Oil change

I have mixed feelings about this shop. My car was towed there. I received great customer service from the customer service representatives. However. I was highly disappointed that I was told they were unable to fix my car. They told me it was one thing, but in all actuality, it was not. They suggested I have it towed to the dealership, but I did not. It was taken to another garage, and I was told exactly what the issue was. I will never have my car towed to any AAA Car Care Center again. I do not care what type of discount is offered to me as an AAA member again. I had to pay full price for the 2nd tow to another shop because I trusted the Car Care Center. Never again.

AAA is only good for roadside assistance for a tow. Don t go to this location to get your tires changed they won t give you fire stone or anything like a great tire and I had to go back because they forgot to put one of the air locks on the tires.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Loved that they do a thorough overview of looking for issues with vehicle within a day and provides an estimate. They are less than a dealer and provides great customer care. Wish they would have provided more of a deal for AAA Members. Also, didn't inform me that if have a Costco Membership is 15% discount while AAA is 10% discount. Seem backwards, but now I know.

Had my first visit to a AAA center and was blown away! We came for International Driving Permits so I can t comment on all services, but everyone we interacted with was super friendly and professional! We were greeted at the door, directed to the right counter for our needs, and helped swiftly by Asia. The facility is immaculate and the staff s performance has actually made me look at AAA in a whole new way!

I had my vehicle towed there for a check engine light and running rough. I was contacted a few days later with a report of solenoid was bad and had a lifter stuck open. Then I needed brakes and rotors all the way around.$1,400, I refused the brakes, and go back down to $800 I just need the vehicle repaired to go. I get a call saying I need all new spark plugs and were back up to $1,200. I refused and back down to $800. I get a call that I must get 1 spark plug because it has fouled, and I need a coil pack $1,000 was approved and my Vehicle will be ready in 1 hour. I call back 2 hours later and now my batterie is leaking and the car won't run so I will have to purchase a Batterie to even leave, now back to $1,200. Every time I refused a service I was hit another issue that cost me something crazy. This is Absolutely the worst car repair experience I have ever had. It seemed like problems were created to get the dollar amount that they wanted.I am Totally Disgusted at this situation.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My children and I needed passport photos. The young woman who helped us was patient and very friendly. Instead of paying $15 per photo at the post office it was only $4.99 per photo. AAA has a ton of perks definitely worth the money we pay.

I love this AAA store! The staff is very customer service oriented and I have written several complimentary reviews for the staff but Simon Cox is the very best Staff Assistant I've met in any AAA store. Fist, he replied to my phone message very quickly, listened carefully to my question and offered a solution that I had not thought possible. When I drove by to the Brandywine store, Simon was readily available, efficient and positive,. He also explained clearly several options to that are available with as n upgraded credit card. Mr problem was solved very quickly and I had a much better opinion of AAA's willingness to accommodate customers. Simon is a top level rep for AAA! Thank you.

AAA has really dropped the ball and after 5 years I will no longer continue this membership!!I have been trying to resolve a formal complaint I filed on this location in April 2022 and have been getting the run around. I have called the service Manager Adam on his cell and at the shop and left countless of voicemails and he refuses to return my call. I filed a complaint with corporate AAA in April they closed it without resolution. I reopened in again in June and not a single case manager has reached out to me. They been moving my file around from case manger to case manager every time I call for an update. I have left multiple case mangers voicemails and sent emails and again no response. I am not asking for anything crazy just a resolution to my complaint or at least someone to listen to it. But AAA does not care so I am taking it public!!!This shop is corrupt and is doing unethical practices! They pulled a $110 bait and switch on me. Adam said he would not charge me a diagnostic fee, but when I got there the folks that work for him charged me a fee and talked negatively about Adam and his experience! They don't even respect each other as a team let along respect customers. After the diagnostic was completed the associate (not the mechanic) ran me the bill and it was way more than I expected. I started calling other shops to get opinions and suggestions. When I went back to talk to the associate when the new Information i have gathered from other shops. She confesses she overcharged me by over $300 because "she read the paper wrong". It is mind blowing to me that she would have made me pay the price over $300 without knowing what she was charging me for. Luckily something told me to ask other shops. But this just shows that you cannot trust this shop and they are fudging up the numbers for their own profits.Services: Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection

The oil change was fairly easy and the atmosphere was ok. The problems arose when I got home and reviewed my dashcam footage. The service tech turned one of the cameras and unplugged the other. I went back down to the location to inquire about this issue. I spoke with the assistant manager and he spoke with the service tech, after reviewing my footage. The tech admitted to turning the one can before and after but denied unplugging the other. I explained that the cameras are for my safety or myself and my car and this action put both in jeopardy. The assistant manager took notes for the district manage and only offered an apology. I took my car for the oil change to them because they are supposed to be a trusted company. The shady actions show me that I was misinformed.

Don t get me wrong, I love AAA. However, CSR supposed to call me to let me know about my vehicle, they NEVER call and I had to drive up there to see why my car was taking so long. It was supposed to be one hour job, but It took eighth hours to get my vehicle back. The mechanic thought that the CSR called but they never did. My vehicle needed some extra work and they were waiting for my response. I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism from the CSR communicating with me. If the mechanic have an update on the vehicle, call us on time so we know what s going on instead of me doing their job. I dropped my car at 9:00am and end up picking it up the next day.But I love my AAA. I just won t take my vehicle there anymore for service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The service is efficient and friendly. However I was annoyed that as a AAA member they charge extra fees that are exorbitant. I had to get my car inspection and all went great at a fair price. However, the 'extra' fees they charge for DMV are crazy. As a member why am I forced to pay an extra freakin $20 for my plate sticker? My headlights needed to be cleaned up and that charge was going to be nearly another $100!! Really AAA? It takes a few minutes of some store bought cleaner and minor elbow grease and boom, it was done. Shame on you for trying to charge this kind of money, especially during a pandemic when so many of us are out of work!I now have to make an appointment with DMV and go do it myself. No cool AAA, not cool at all.

A friend of mine had a Volkswagen Passat and she told me that she had Triple A so I told her to tow it to a Triple A facility. I am a mechanic myself but I could not get to her car because I am so busy with the heavy equipment that I work on. This place is the worst repair facility ever being a Triple A facility it's almost like their texts are just fresh out of Tech school. The car had a blown quick disconnect hose at the back of the engine block Into the heater core. I wanted the hose replaced and when they gave my friend a estimate they talking about it needed brakes needed this and that. I didn't mind them checking the car over and tell her what it needed but fix the reason why the car was brought into the shop in first place. Before the coolant system repair was completed they started working on the brakes which was not authorized. I talked to the so called manager and to him fix the coolant issue first. After the hoses were installed now the car needs a thermostat and a fan clutch. The car does not even have a fan clutch with electric fans. Triple A decertify this facility for I towed the car in and had to tow it out because they couldn't fix a simple cooling system issue. In closing they are going to tell me that the water pump is cracked REALLY BRO. That should have been noticed after the hoses were replaced and the car filled with coolant. THIS PLACE GIVES ALL MECHANICS A BAD NAME!!! GO TO THE DEALER ANYPLACE BUT HERE

I have been to AAA once and my girlfriend have been here once before. The staff was very courteous and professional and foremost the cost of fixing your car is much more reasonable than Good Year or the other popular auto shops. I currently have my car there to change my brakes pads and rotors as I write this review. I am very confident they will do an excellent job! I am confident if someone is not satisfied with their service they will address it immediately. Any auto shops can make mistakes, but its the follow up that is very important!

My family has been members of AAA for many years and in during that time I have never been so disrespected in my life. If you have an scheduled appointment, it is incredibly rude to say that your time is not important. I had a scheduled appointment at 9:00 AM and tires already shipped to the location. Khalil stated that tire change would take TWO HOURS because there were other people in front of me (who allegedly had scheduled appointments). If you cannot honor an appointment time, either hire more people or do not take so many appointments !
