I was treated very well and I was not made to feel like a bother when I wanted to inspect the job before leaving. The job they did was awsome!

Can't say enough good things about them. Everyone is so polite and helpful. Car work was done beautifully. They worked with my insurance to make sure everything was covered. Definitely will be recommending to friends and family!

They had my car for almost 2 months, and they had me wait to drop it off until they had the parts, so that wasn't the hold up. I had to keep calling to check on the progress, as they never initiated any calls. When I was told Joe would call me back, on multiple occasions, he never returned my phone call. I would have to call them back. Joe told me they were fixing the car, it was on the machine, it was going to paint next. They told me that I would be able to pick it up the week of Memorial Day, but they didn't know if it would be early or late in the week. When I called to check on it that week, they informed me that they have found more damage and they were waiting on the insurance company to come look at the car. I contacted the insurance company the next day and they informed me they had just been notified and they would be going in the next day or two to look at it. The insurance company called me to tell me they totaled the car. Walter Jay's never called to tell me. I went to clean out my belongings and the owner told me they didn't know the car was totaled yet. She had no idea what was going on, that my calls were not being returned, and that she is the one that stopped Joe from repairing my vehicle. She was acting very nice to me, BUT she told me she was going to get to the bottom of it and she would call me the next Monday to let me know what she found out. That was Friday June 2nd. Needless to say, she has never called me. I will NEVER use Walter Jay's again, and I recommend everyone to go elsewhere if you want to be treated properly. I was nothing but patient and nice, and in return was treated badly. The one star can go to the Ms. Francis that answers the phone, she's a sweetheart and this company doesn't deserve her!

I ve gone to Walter Jay s twice and they are absolutely phenomenal! They take care of every individual that walks through the door and makes sure they are well taken care of. Every time I have needed work on my vehicle, my car always comes out looking as if it is brand new. Even my interior was cleaned while my car was dropped off just for some body work and paint. I was so shocked and happy each time I received my car back! They work with you and treat you well. Joe is amazing! I would not trust anyone else doing body work on my car other than them! Highly recommend anyone to go to them!

I gotta say. The repair was delayed and I was getting bent but it was parts supply chain and insurance hoo ha stuff. They were great all the way AND get this, they DETAILED the car. Like repaired our front end then cleaned the car! Class Act

My car is a 2019 Subaru Forester with 3 parking lot dings. I was told the work would take 4 to 5 days to fix. So, I dropped the car off on Friday the 24th and rent a car for 7 days. At day 7 the car is still not ready though the rental is due back. I return the rental car at day 7 and now day 10 they tell me they still need 3 more full days. Costing me WAY more than necessary as I may need to get another rental car. They offered no reason why they were unable to have the car ready on time. they just kept saying "I'm telling you where the car is in the process". No apology no offer to pay for a rental car NOTHING!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Tldr: The finest body shop (plus) in Baltimore. This is the only place I've ever gone to for body work for the last 15 years, for my SUV, my Audi sedan, my wife's Mazda RX-8, my work truck, et al.Angel has always been accommodating with ensuring that we'd have a rental car waiting for us when we dropped off our vehicles for repairs. Joseph has always given us accurate and descriptive updates on the progress of our cars and Jamie has always done excellent work fixing our vehicles.I'm at the point where this is the only place that I'll recommend for body work, suspension and steering, timing belts and other engine and transmission work, as well as oil changes and other factory recommended service routines.I've never been disappointed by the quality of their work, the friendliness of the staff, the speed of delivery or their fairness of thier prices.

They fixed my car after an accident. Body work, painted and detailed my car. When I drove it out of their lot it Looked like I just drove it off of the showroom floor. The people here were efficient, very knowledgeable and helpful. When I left my car to get the work done they had a rental car waiting for me to drive home. They go above and beyond to make there customers happy.

This business is a God send to me. I practically destroyed the underside of my car hitting a piece of road debris. The team at Walter Jays restored my vehicle to its original state and maybe we better. They showed immediately that they cared about me and offered solutions. Within an hour or so after entering their office I was in my rental and in good hands. I can't say enough good things about Joe and the team there. Thank you!Go Air Force! .....and Navy!

Walter jays took 3 weeks to fix my front bumper of my car. They told me it would take a week then they kept pushing it back giving me the run around. If you tell me a date and time it will be done i expect it to be done at that time and day. Not bring considerate of what i need to do. But for the most part the car look good.

Excellent work: looks great, and they promptly handled the claim, scheduling of minor body and paint work I needed, quickly completed the work in 1.5 days, and provided a courtesy shuttle to and from my home. Owned by an Air Force veteran which made for good conversation on the shuttle rides as I'm an AF veteran too.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I tore the wheel off of my axel and I needed a lot off body work done. My car was at another location but they quickly picked it up from there and worked with my insurance to get everything settled. When I came in to pick up some things from my car they were really kind and helpful, especially when asking questions about other issues my car had. They are a really great shop to work with and they got my car back to normal!

I just picked up my car from Walter Jays, it was being repaired for an accident at the beginning on the year. The repair took a little long but that was because their was more damaged under then what the adjuster knew about. And Walters did a great job communicating with my insurance to get everything covered. Everyone who I dealt with was very friendly and full of information. And then to top it all off my car was a minivan that I drive 4?kids around in all the time so that means it s always full of crumbs and fries. Lol, Walter jays not only repaired the damages but also washed the van and did an amazing job vacuuming it!!Thanks a lot for everything

I was in an accident and decided to take my car to a family owned shop. Total cost for everything was almost 7k & I regret giving them every penny. Any time I called whoever was at the front desk was so rude, and shouldn t be in customer service. Numerious things were missed, I was matched with the wrong vehicle. Initially quoted 2 weeks, took a month. It was just always something until at one point she turned the phone over to Angel. She is the ONLY reason I gave one star. Now on to the actual body work.. I had scratches on parts of my car that weren t there previously. I even had scratches on parts there were new. My car makes noises when running & didn t previously (2014 w/ only 30k miles). There was substantial damages done & I trusted them to make them like new & I shouldn t have. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone unless you wanted to be treated horribly & want your car to get a botch job.

What once was the go to body shop is now the never go to body shop. I took my car in for what should have ben a easy fix and turned out to be a nightmare. I had the car back 3 times for a rattle in the door. They finally got that right by removing plastic pieces that were in the bottom of the door which Joe L had told me were there but didnt know where they came from. What? They broke my power mirrors in the process telling me that they were past their life expectancy. They misdiagnosed a problem with my window and charged me 400 for a power window motor that wasn't needed. It seems that the owner is semi retired and the daughter is running the shop and has no clue obviously.My family has been taking vehicles there for years but that will be the last time.

My name is Jarde I rate Walter jays with 5 stars, I am satisfied with the work and how the detailing on my car and inside.they work with me and they gave me a reasonable price.when I picked my car up today it looked like I had a brand new car.I would recommend my family and friends to bring their car here.

poor customer service. truck left scratched. After bringing it to their attention they called my a liar. this shop also work too close with insurance companies. Never again will I help this local shop. BEWARE....
