Appreciate their willingness to always fit in tire repairs on short notice! Many other shops can't (by policy) complete specific repairs, but this shop figures out a way. Once again, very appreciative!

I d like to share a wonderful experience that I had at Tire Network. Recently, my dashboard lights were on and Joe checked and repaired them in a short amount of time. I ve been using Tire Network for years. They performed my vehicle s state inspection and have fixed numerous other things for me. I highly recommend this family business. Above all, Joe has kept my car in tip top shape since 2005.

This place is a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself the hassle and find another place, especially if you are a female and/or needing a vehicle inspection. I honestly don't know how they are an authorized inspection station and should absolutely be reported. I scheduled an appointment for an inspection as I'd recently moved from out of state. I showed up at the scheduled time and they had no record of my appointment. This is when I should have walked away, but they said they could get me in and that it would be 2.5 - 3 hours so I made the unfortunate decision to proceed. EIGHT hours and several phone calls later I am standing outside of their window because they had not called that my vehicle was finished and it was near their closing time. The vehicle did not pass inspection, which was ok because it's an older model and I understand Maryland has a very stringent standard for registering out of state vehicles. What was not ok was the excessive amount of repairs that were mansplained to me as though I am just an ignorant female that will believe and pay for anything I am told. I was promised an estimate for the repairs that were allegedly necessary would be sent to me the following Monday and SURPRISE, over a month later and I still have not received an estimate. I went to a more reputable shop where again, my vehicle failed inspection, however the repairs were fair and legitimate and within 4 hours they had my vehicle repaired and inspection passed. Save yourself and go elsewhere to begin with!

After I was rear-ended I took my car to Joe at the Tire Network since I trusted him bc he did some work on my car previously. He took on the challenge of repairing it. He is thorough and detail oriented and gave me my car back in tip-top shape. I highly recommend his work.

Horrible customer service. I spoke with the guy that works on the cars (possible owner) to schedule a tire replacement and alignment. Got there at the scheduled time, called since no one was at the window. Spoke with him about where to drop off, confirmed that it would take 1.5 -2 hours as he said over the weekend when I made the appointment. He confirmed that time frame but was very rude then told me he had alot to do. He said when do i want it back. I mentioned that if it was going to take about 2 hours around 10 would be fine. He was raising his voice and was very rude, he then hung up on me while I was at the bay window. I told the woman at the window (she was there while this was happening)that he had just hung up on me. He then came out yelling at me, told me I was taking too much of his time (I literally was trying to drop off my vehicle to get stuff done and get the instructions on how to do so and when it would be done) and he told me to go to Good Year (we had spoken about Good Year when I called about prices and he was bad mouthing them on the phone) that he wasn't going to do my job. He didn't want to do it. I was so confused as to why this was happening and why he was treating me like this, as I had not been rude, disrespectful or loud. I did infact go to Good Year and they were super helpful even with out an appointment. They were very kind and when I mentioned what happened there was someone in there that had a horrible experience at tire network also, as well as a man that delivered to them in the past and spoke on how horribly he was treated.

Overpriced. They charge $150 for the car's inspection (required by MD) and if the inspection fails another $75. Other shops charge $90 and if the inspection fails they either don't have an extra charge or $45. Great customer service until they have the car is in the shop then their attitude is negative.

Don t take your car over there if you are looking for a diagnostic check or to replace a door handle. Owner wanted to charge me $400 to replace 1 door handle (old Toyota Sienna 2011) and on top of that ordered the part before discussing with me the cost or if I wanted to go ahead with the transaction. After being informed about the cost, I obviously didn t want to proceed with the transaction and politely tried to tell the owner that he should have discussed prices with me before ordering parts. Sadly, owner got defensive and just told me to pick up the car and pay for diagnostics. I arrived to pick up my car and was surprised with a bill for $230 dollars. Just to look at the car save your dollars and shop around.I m giving 3 starts because i purchased brand new tires from them and one of them got a huge hole. Owner was able to give me a new tire for half of the original price and the job was done fast and service was effective. My only suggestion for the owner is to improve his communication with clients.

This is a crooked company and these people are not trust worthy. I had a just discovered a piece if metal is my tire causing ut to leak right in the middle of a job. I called around quickly to find out prices and availability. He quoted me $200 for the tire , a bit high but not unreasonable, and that he could have me out the door in 30 minutes. I stopped what i was doing and headed over. Just as i arrive my tire went completely flat. I walked into the shop only to be told rudely to stay outside and wait. After 10 minutes I call in to see if I can get someone to help me. They finally do and they come back with the paper work the total was $260. I asked if he would price Mach good year which was only 205. He laughed and told me to take it to them. I asked if he was able to do it right away as I was working .. he told me he would do it in a few hours..This is a crooked company and these people are not trust worthy. They lie on the phone to get you in then give you differnet pricing when u get their

Joe has serviced my car a couple times now, and he's always explained the problems and options for repair before doing any work. Both jobs finished same day. This is a stand-up shop; if you treat people with decency, they will take care of you.

Joe was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I didn t have an appointment and stopped to see if he could help assess a screw in my tire. He willingly looked at the tire right away, and made sure all of my other tires were at the correct pressure. I was so thankful he squeezed me in right on the spot. Highly recommend this place!Service: TiresService: Tires

Joe and his family at The Tire Network are amazing. My car decided to not start as I was attempting to leave the Starbucks in my neighborhood and head to work. Called Joe and he walked me through a few things to try and get the car started. We couldn't get it to turn over so he asked me where I was and said he would be there shortly. He arrived and was able to get it started. This wasn't just a simple jump start either. I was able to drive it to his shop to get the repair done. It ended up needing a new starter, but I also told Joe that I needed an oil change and rear brakes. Once at the shop he offered to drive me to my office as well. The car was complete the same day. Joe coming out and getting my car to start saved me a large towing cost. Incredible customer service. Thanks again, you guys are awesome.

The guy John or Joe who does the inspection is not honest. When had my car inspected, and alot needed to be repaired too pass. I had my mechanic fix all the reported problems. When it was time for my re-inspection with John/Joe, stated I have no room to do a re-inspection. John said go pay some one else for a new inspection this guy is very rude. If you are a female do not go to this shop alone. He was trying to get me to pay $3000 for a job that cost me $1000. Please save your self the trouble and avoid this shop. Aberdeen Muffler shop is a very good inspection site that operate with integrity. I have passed my car inspection and thank God I did not fall into The Tire Network's rip off $3000. I paid $1000 to fix my car, the owners deflect all the issues customers bring up. People stay away from this business!!!!!

First of all I want to say that I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment, and specifically MIKE. My daughter had a flat tire and no spare; her car was in a VERY tight spot and NOBODY wanted to help us. She couldn't be towed, nobody could help us with a tire, etc. Thankfully I saw the ad for Tire Network and spoke to Mike. I live in NY, and my daughter is in Baltimore so it was a tricky and stressful situation. Mike went above and beyond to help my daughter and me and he was friendly, kind, and patient.Additionally, a week later I was driving down to Baltimore when my check engine light went on. My car is only a few years old but I was very concerned. I called Hyundai in NY to ask how quickly I have to take my car in and they told me to go to the nearest Hyundai in Baltimore. Of course they couldn't see me for two weeks,so who did I call? Of course Mike and he happily and readily checked out my light immediately and fixed the problem.Mike is a stand up, honest, knowledgeable mechanic.I can say that I feel secure with my daughter being so far away because of this fantastic service. Thank you Mike!!!!!!Also I gave this 5 stars but it only shows up as 4.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic

Went to The Tire Network for an inspection, ended up that my 2 rear tires had tread too low to pass. Joe noticed other things with my tires and called Michelin to get me a warranty discount. After that he only had the step-up from the tires I currently owned, and offered me advice on how to get an even better price by calling Michelin. Overall, great customer service and Joe was a really nice and helpful guy!

The Tire Network is the best.! I needed to change my tags over to Maryland. I had my car inspected in PA a few months before and figured I wouldn't need major repairs. I took my car to Goodyear, and they told me I need new routers and it would cost me $300. They were extremely pushy about me making the repairs. As a female I often feel like the auto industry as a whole tries to take advantage of me so wanted a second opinion. When I called the Tire Network I explained my situation to the owner, Joe. He too agreed that something sounded fishy and to bring my car in. He reinspect it for free because he didn't want me to have to pay twice for the same service. Upon inspection he found that I did not need need router and in fact my brakes and router look practically new!! He explained every step of the inspection what the results meant, and what repairs I might need in the future. Joe even met me at my work and picked up and dropped off my car. The people at Tire Network are honest hardworking people and truly care about their customers. I will never go back to Goodyear!

I've been taking my car to Joe ever since I moved back to Baltimore about 10 years ago. He's the only mechanic I trust. When I got into an accident a few years ago, he let me store the damaged vehicle at his shop while I figured out logistics with the insurance company. He always gives me his honest opinion and has never tried to up-sell me or my girlfriend. Great neighborhood business!

When the "low tire pressure" indicator went on in my brand new car last week, and when I realized that I actually had a tire with a slow leak, I needed to find a place to get my tire repaired ASAP. I looked through all the various reviews for local tire places, and The Tire Network had 27 of 28 positive reviews, so I gave it shot. Long story short, the reviews are all true and Joe is one of the most upstanding mechanics I've ever met. After they determined that my tire had a hole in the sidewall, I learned that I needed a new tire. When I called the dealership to ask what they would do, they told me it would be $230 for the new tire before tax. Joe told me that it would be $247 for my tire before installation, but in his experience, based on my tire being brand new and the fact that there was no evidence of me hitting a road hazard, Michelin would probably give me 25-50% towards the cost of the new tire. He told me that he'd help me fill out the claim and talk to them. The dealership said that they would not be able to help me with that and I'd have to deal with Michelin on my own.Joe spent 20 minutes calling back Michelin until he found somebody competent and understanding of my situation. He got them to give me 50% towards the cost of the tire as goodwill since it broke with less than 2000 miles on the tire, and spent a good amount of time and effort working for me on my behalf. The whole time while I was waiting I watched a stream of new and existing customers come in needing various repairs - some needing tire work, others just needing service on their cars. All the regulars love Joe and his staff and he knew them all personally and really cared about more than just their business.I was very impressed by the integrity of Joe and his staff, the quality of their work and the overall customer experience. I would definitely recommend The Tire Network and Joe Hooe to anyone looking for a fair and competent mechanic. Thanks again Joe!

RESPONSE: Joe, I do not write negative reviews for businesses lightly (please consult my other Google reviews). First, you are incorrect in your response; I do not drive a 2003 Corolla. Second, I encourage you to consider ways to improve your business without attacking displeased customers.Take Care,SamanthaORIGINAL POST:I took my car here a few years back when I first moved to MD for the state inspection. I have a mechanic in my family, so I've always maintained my vehicle regularly. Tire Network spotted a couple of valid items, which I appreciated and addressed. However, several of them seemed off-base, so I chose to take my vehicle to another mechanic (not a state inspector) who agreed with me. After a lot of stress-Redditing I discovered I could let the first inspection expire and take my vehicle to another state inspector. I was bummed that I had to pay for the inspection twice, but my vehicle passed easily the second time. I have not used Tire Network for any other services, so I cannot speak to the quality of work they do there. However, I strongly advise against having your state inspection done here.

DO NOT GO HERE! I see lots of people going here for their state inspections and there is a benefit to having your inspection site do any repairs and that is one of the main reasons I believe there are better places to go!Took my car in for my state inspection. At first they were very accommodating and were able to get me in that day. They did find some wear on one of my joints so I brought it back in a couple days later when they said they were free and could work on it. After 3 days they had made no progress (I had also told them I needed it for that weekend as I was going out of town) and I was not kept informed of progress on my car. I was told to bring it back in on Monday, which I did, and it wasn't until Thursday of that week that any work actually started on my car. I proactively called multiple times during week and Thursday I also told them I need my car by Friday evening. By Friday evening my car was not done as promised and I was guaranteed to have my car by noon on Saturday. When I stopped by the shop at 12pm they weren't even working on my car and it was not finished. Finally picked up my car Saturday afternoon and was still charges full price including labor. For being a local shop I never felt the hometown hospitality and respect.

Joe was an awesome, knowledgeable mechanic who helped get me in and out fast with my inspection. He was super friendly and helped correct a couple minor things to help pass inspection (lose endlink and battery tiedown). I couldn't have asked for a better experience. For what it's worth, reading these other reviews make me feel people, who couldn't pass inspection, just go off the handle at this place. As a gearhead, it is a very thorough Maryland mandate and Joe even caught stuff I missed on my regular maitainnece I do. Disparaging an inspector with reviews just because he or she is doing their job in accordance with the law is petty. My experience was nothing but positive here.I'd recommend Joe even as a guy who loves his car and tries to do most of the work myself at home.

Joe is an excellent mechanic. Estimates are honest, and work is high quality. I went in for a wobble/vibration in my Toyota Tacoma, and it has been a problem for years. After getting the run around at other shops, Joe test drove my truck and corrected the problem. At Joe's shop, you get the direct communication and efficiency of a local shop and the quality of a dealership. Highly recommended.

I had a good experience here. My cars battery was completely dead and I went to them as they were getting ready to close up on a Saturday. The owner drove to the other side of the city just to pick up my battery and then one of his mechanics installed it for me. I was very grateful for them doing it right then and there because I was supposed to meet some friends in Annapolis that evening. The owner is local and he's a really good guy. I think people are being awfully liberal in choosing their one star ratings because their reasons are pretty petty e.g., the guy with the metal stem caps you were the one who broke the stem (next time there's a problem take it back to them and have them take it off if there's an issue).

The owner, Joe, was very considerate of me and was willing to stay open after hours to give me a chance to pick my car up. He gave me some great advice regarding my goal (plight?) of getting my beater Civic to a roadworthy state after inspecting the vehicle. Also gave me a ride to work. Stand up kinda guy.

All I'ma say is there inspector matches the rest of these reviews. He's a liar told me it would take an hour yeah more like 4 hrs. An I just took it to another inspection place had another state trooper come look at it there. An half of what he claimed was false I've been in touch with Glen Burnie mva an state police in reporting this dealership. It's insane. No holes in my floor an headers are legal an I have a cat installed an my sensors. Says my springs aren't for my car the car clears the legal clearance Maryland ask for it's only a 1 inch drop lol an he claims my fenders interfere with tires well when you turn the wheel left to right there's no fender rub. The state trooper was surprised at this. But this place is well known for lies an trying to pinch money from people I'm now told. Shouldnt try this on a machanic lol these people are crooked in sure she will post something defending there inspector it's the same guy as people complained about before same issues I'm not the first or even top 20 lol in the past year at that. Stay away there frauds.
