I had my vehicle inspected here. It failed for two reasons. First reason was for uneven brake rotor wear. This fails in the Maryland state inspection regulations if the uneven wear is extreme. In my case the wear was not extreme which should not result in a failure. But its a simple fix so no problem. The second reason for failure and the main issue is because my car was on coilovers. In the Maryland state inspection regulations the only reason a vehicle should fail for the sole reason for being on coilovers is if its too low to get on a lift or if you change the type of suspension it is. Meaning changing a spring to a shock etc my coilovers are the same type of suspension that comes stock. Its an upgraded part for better driving experience. When confronting the inspector he went into the back for 20+ minutes and when he came back he said that his guy says they are valid failures. As if he doesn t know the Maryland state inspection regulations. Not to mention there is no parking and they ask you to pull your car onto the sidewalk in front of the shop. When dropping off my car and picking it up i sat inside the office for 20+ minutes each time waiting for someone to help me because nobody was in there. Such a awful experience as well as a waste of time and money. Im taking my vehicle to the shop that took the time to educate me on the actual regulations on coilovers that ll pass my vehicle. Dont waste your time at this unprofessional establishment. Id give them less then a 1 star if i could. Just look how they respond to the bad reviews. Very unprofessional and embarrassing behavior.

They made me feel so secure, They re very helpful, I was inside the office for about 30 minutes while they inspected my car, I felt very good and they even showed That I had to repair my car and where I could get it. Thank you for make me feel confortable

Attention LYFT drivers NTB no longer does state inspections so ive been told I've called like 12 in Baltimore . This place was very quick and was able to get in the same day!! No regrets full 100% approve!

These guys took my tires off during a MD state inspection today. After returning home I immediately tried to take off my tires to look at my exhaust and fix a leak that was noted. Redhill used a drill to take on and off my tires and they absolutely stripped multiple lug nuts and the rest were at way too much torque. Three of my lug nuts had to be thrown away, one actually got stuck inside a socket and could not be removed even after hitting it against a hammer with a cast iron spike. I literally broke an 18 inch steel wrench trying to get the first tire off, the steel snapped in two. Like this is really ridiculous I haven t even inspected any of the supposed fixes and I m out $60 worth of parts and that s hoping there s no damage to the thread on the actual wheel screws. The service was mediocre and slow but mostly this has showed me that Redhill Auto either has no respect for the vehicles of their customers or are fundamentally incompetent. I will not be going here again.Service: Vehicle Inspection

This place and the people are absolutely amazing. My car was stolen and totaled leaving me having to buy a car from someone and I ve never had to do that. Long story short I bought from a darn con artist leaving me without a car again needing A LOT of work. Redhill worked with me and communicated so well and everything was amazing pricing. They were so understanding of my situation and the fact that I m a struggling single mom. Thank you all so much for everything!Services: Exhaust, Battery

Do not come here for a state vehicle inspection. They told me I could not fix the 2 things that needed to be done to my vehicle myself or else I have to pay another $80 Inspection fee. Overcharged for the work as well. I would rate 0 stars if I could. Don't walk, run away from this nightmare. This is an Illegal practice.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

6 month revised review, the inner and outer tire rod replacement, front suspension all completely redone, along with alignment, ALL needs to be redone. My new tire are now worn and BOTH front tires wiggle like a tooth about to fall off. EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality, $800 later and have the same issue they were supposed to replace. The whole front end was replaced with you guys there's NO WAY I should need it replaced again after 6 months. If you get work done make sure you check that everything was done correctly so you don't end up like me having to replace my front end twice in 6 months., I paid for an expensive bandaidREPLYBRAND NEW TIRE RODS DO NOT BREAK AFTER 6 MONTHS YOU SHPULD KNOW THEY LAST OVER A 100K MILES OF WEAR. MY 2005 NISSAN DOESN'T HAVE OVER 200K MILES AND SO WHAT IF IT DID.. YOUR "WORK" DIDN'T HOLD UP 5K MILES. PERIOD. REALISTIC IS WHEN THE QUALITY OF YOUR REPAIRS SHOWS AS RUSHED BANDAID WORK.

I had the most amazing experience while getting my car inspected, Alvin did my inspection and he was such a gentleman. He went into detail explaining the things I would need and how the process worked. I would recommend this shop to all of my friends and family. Plus the prices were amazing!!

Best auto shop I ve been to. Came here to get some repairs done after an inspection from another shop. They were fair, honest and quick. They told me what repairs were essential and which were not. They also completed the state inspection. I honestly can t thank them enough.

Wish I could give no stars. They did not complete all the services that were scheduled for the appointment (headlight bulb replacement and air in tires). Blamed my wife that she didn't introduce she was there for an appointment. Not true. She told 2 people why she was there. They hung up on me too. Stay away!

I was driving from out of town and my vehicle started squeaking driving down on I95. Found this garage and the owner Dan took me in. He figured out what the problems were and offered up the most cost effective and reasonable repair solutions i have had with my car. He was very professional and explained in detail. GREAT SERVICE! Took car in for an inspection after having it checked by an (out of state) trusted mechanic, and was told it needed $750 in repairs to pass the inspection. I could tell at least one issue was not real (chip in windshield, which was <0.5 , and which is passable by MD law). At least $650 of the estimate was for brakes, which my mechanic had checked, and said were fine.If you re looking for an inspection, save your $80 and take it somewhere else.

Dan provides the best car service in the City! I ve trusted him with my car maintenance for over 5 years and have nothing but good things to say. His prices are fair, his shop is clean, and I m always treated me with respect and dignity (which isn t always the case with other auto shops as a woman!).
