Under no circumstances would I trust a repair at Midas Parkville.On 2/17/23 I got my f150 back for what started as a timing kit replacement. While it was in, they broke a bolt off in a valve cover, and cracked a valve cover spewing oil everywhere when it started because they didn t notice before turning it on.In April 2023 I reached out to the owner, Chris Weiss, because my truck was making the same rattle noises. He sent me to ford to get a diagnostic, since I lived hours away at that point, ford ran it for code s but they d gone away and so Ford said they couldn t do much else without charging the hourly rate. Chris and I decided if the sound came back or something failed they d fix it.Fast forward to 1/29/2024. My truck completely breaks down. I finally have enough money for the almost $200/hr diagnostic and they call me back hours later to tell me the timing chain broke, and the chain guides.I immediately called midas and was contacted by Nick who told me more or less he didn t think they d do anything to fix it, but he would reach out to ford.Ford made it clear to me that my suspicions of the chain or kit being the issue were exactly where they were at on it too, Nick contacted me back to tell me those repairs are only guaranteed for 12000 miles so even if I wanted to I can t help you I m a disabled veteran and father of 3, on a single income, and Midas was the last place to touch my trucks engine. I m now out thousands in the cost of the truck, AND I need to figure out a way to get $15,550 for a new engine.The owners are completely unphased. They even tried to act as if I didn t understand what a timing chain IS.Midas Parkville

Phenomenal management and the service was excellent. The Mgr. Steve did a fantastic job explaining & working on the issues as well as giving me advice on how to prevent them in the future, Got me in and out of there in no time. I ll definitely be recommending this location to people with any issues!

Steve was an incredible help during my visit a week ago. I was scrambling to figure out what was going on with my car and when I called he told me to come right on over. I did and the service to my vehicle and the customer service I received from him and his team was amazing! He went above and beyond to ensure I understood what was going on with my car and provided me with solutions! I d tell anyone this is the #1 place to have your car serviced!

Submitted an online request for an appointment, I selected a window of 11:30-1:30. Says you will receive a call in one business hour once the store opened. Close to 2pm and still have not received a call,text or email regarding my request. Just needed an alignment.

Very good service, Steve was great at explaining any issues with my vehicle, and they also even take photos for their inspection which I thought was very cool and helpful. Will be coming here for all services from now on.

Came in today for a simple oil change .. no problems there but right before the technician finished the service manager (I m assuming) comes back to question me about my tags .. where are your tags from , are they registered to your car ? then proceed to tell me they re bad .. get new ones .. IS THIS THE POLICE STATION OR THE DAMN MECHANIC SHOP?! Never have I ever had anybody attempt to run my PERSONAL information & question the legitimacy of my vehicle while getting an OIL CHANGE. something fishy about these guys up here won t be coming back

Steve got me in and Moy got me out! A1 service, hospitality, and gained my confidence with there knowledge and advice moving forward. Preventive maintenance is of utmost importance. They also had the best price and I thoroughly checked around. Thank you guys see you next time.

After the Midas closest to my home closed I was fortunate to call the Joppa Rd location where Steve is the manager..His professionalism was apparent from the first call that I made to the shop.. Ever since then he and his staff have taken great care of me each time that I visited this location.. He explains everything very throughly so that a guy like me that doesn t know much about the mechanics of a car can understand.. I highly recommend this location if you looking for stress free experience.. Thank you Steve and staff for a job well done

The service is excellent. I've been going there for years. And I still do reviews. We depend on our vehicles and need to be able to find a service shop that you can feel really good about the work. I have been to places in the past and it was a "hope and pray" situation. Midas , well they strive on professionalism and highly skilled and knowledgeable in their field of servicing vehicles. The Mgr. Steve is great and welcomes customers and excited to be able to service vehicles; you can easily tell he has a passion for vehicle maintenance. They will let you know what they find and advise of any upcoming repairs that may be needed. They will explain how and why certain things may be going on; and what to look out for. I now have a newer vehicle and go for routine servicing but they kept my 1999 Jeep Grand with over 200,000 miles going up til about a year ago . And I will not take my vehicle anywhere for servicing than at Midas as Joppa Rd.

Customer service is ALWAYS top tier. I have been here three times since we moved. Communication is always clear and concise and the work done to the vehicles is great . No complaints here !

STAY AWAY!! Went for an oil change and to do a diagnostic. Told me i needed valve cover gasket (which i knew about), and a oil pan gasket (doesn't exist for my car). They told me i was leaking oil real bad. And they were right, however it wasn't because of the valve cover or the oil pan. Whoever did my oil change "forgot" to tighten my oil filter all the way (like a whole half a turn). I had been leaking oil for weeks after thinking my car was falling me. Nope just half a** service. I feel like they tried to scam me. Won't be going back.

I was greeted upon entering the building was treated very kindly by the mechanics old change was quick they inspected everything on the car that was supposed to be inspected I was very satisfied will be coming back there again on my next oil change thank you and to everyone at Midas and people listening to me or reading this have a blessed and merry Christmas bye-bye

Brandon pulled through when the others couldn't. My rear tires are usually not readily available in most stores for purchase (285/40/90). Also, they're typically $600 each at the dealership. Brandon found a reasonably priced tire. He ordered them, and they were shipped to Midas the next day. The funny thing is I never knew Midas sold tires.My interaction from start to finish was absolutely FANTASTIC!

This is my first time here and Brandon was great! I made an appointment for an oil change for 9 am on a Saturday and despite being short staffed by 2 guys he was done and I was out at 935! He informed me of some things I need to get but wasn t at all pushy about it which I appreciate! The place was clean and he was nice and professional! I will be back!Service: Oil change

Came into this particular Midas with an exhaust issue on my BMW. Chris and his team immediately took my car to assess the repair. They were very clear on what needed to be done and up front with the work, and quoted a fair price, and went to work immediately. Later that day, I called to check on the car, and to my amazement, Chris and his team were able to perform the repair in a different manner which cut the cost by 80%! I was shocked to say the least. Only a truly honest shop would save a new customer this kind of money, and the repair seems to be extremely well done to boot. Thanks so much!Service: Exhaust

Went to this place to get my tire patched. Sadly, newer vehicles seem to come with fix a flat instead of a spare/donut. As soon as I mentioned fix a flat the clerk said I needed a new tire because the tire was shot due to the tire sealant. The bottle said that tires are still repairable after use. I looked online and didnt find anything saying tires are not repairable after use, but shop clerks hate handling the stuff. Went somewhere else and got it patched, no issues yet and it's been over a month and over 2k miles. Just more ridiculous scams to spend $200 instead of $20.
