I took two Victory Cross Country's to Ben and his partner Steve. Both bikes were to the dashes painted and color matched. 8" lids installed with speakers and 10" speakers placed one in each bag. Along with 6.5 speakers installed in the dash with tweeters. Lastly installation of 2 amps per bike and the aftermarket radios cut into the dash. They arranged to pick up both bikes at our home in NJ 120 miles from their shop for $250. They took both bikes fully aware not all of the parts (lids from manufacturers or speakers were fully available) they provided a quote of $2350 for the first bike which had all its components minus the lids and a $1,000 deposit was given to begin work on this bike first. Steve took it upon himself to begin work on the second bike which no deposit was given and only had the radio and 6.5 speaker component. While working on this bike and not working on the other daily updates were made asking were parts were in transit. Pressure was placed one as the customer to provide items faster as he (Steve) wanted to complete that bike prior to starting on the second. Being rushed I advised they could use the 8" speakers and 10" speakers from the initial bike to complete this bike. While awaiting for the adapters for the lids on this bike quote were requested as to the work on the second bike which no deposit was given. The initial verbal quote was for $1800. The then written quote for this bike was $3730. Alarmed by the large discrepancy and the owner of this bike called Steve on 3 way to discuss the reason for this rate as this was not agreed to and in the exchange I stated to stop work on the bike to which I was told " I don't have to work on your bike I've got plenty of bikes to work on". Irate with this exchange I spoke with his partner Ben who made his best effort to address the disrespect and requested that we enable him to complete both bikes in the manner we desired. We agreed under the understanding he (Ben) would be solely working on both bikes. At this point after giving direction as to what was to be done with both bikes new quotes were given $3350 per bike and completion was to continue. When bikes were delivered to our home on 3/10/2018 we immediately noticed attention to detail was missed on both bikes. One bike had numerous scratches on. The brand new lids caused by Ben or Steve. There were pain drips on the dash of one bike. The fender on one bike was not painted as previously agreed upon. On 3/17/2018 we decided to evaluate both motorcycle by removing their fairing and noticed a disorganized jumble of wires in both dashes. So much so we believed they would be a fire hazard and disconnected both bikes from the batteries. After further review we see no steps were made to prevent water from entering both bikes saddlebags. We expressly told bother Ben and Steve we are not fair weather riders the bike will see rain in any form and must be waterproof. We also noticed the there was no attempt at preventing water from getting into the bags via the wire holes made. Secondly we noticed that they shaved down sections of the 8 in speakers without advising us thus making it unsightly and a horrible installation on one bikes lids. On the second bike due to a delay in those 8s the bike was delivered with those lids not installed. However the amplifier installed in the saddlebag prevented from the lids installation as the lid would not close. However, pictures were provided in the shop advising they were waiting on the lids and the rest of that bike was completed. Which now is evident this was untrue. These two people are the worst business people I have ever dealt with. They have an utter lack of respect for people property, time, and money. I highly suggest you seek a shop that will respect your property and treat you as a paying customer with respect. I will add that Ben offered to correct the multitude of issues however we declined due to the fact that that these things should have been addressed correctly prior to delivery and we lacked the confidence that we would receive the proper corrections.
