This is my first time ever leaving a google review - but Kurt was the absolute best I couldn t not share. He was so kind, honest, and never pressured us to make unnecessary repairs. He was SO reasonably priced and did fantastic work in a timely manor. Kurt is excellent! Took my older Lexus to him with a starter issue and he had it turned around in a couple days for a fair price. Didn t pressure me into fixing other issues the car has, just got it running. Great communication and customer service. I ll trust him and his team with my car as long as I live in this neighborhood.

Brought my car in for a small fix this morning, they had it done just a few hours later. Kurt was extremely nice, helpful, and FAST. All for an extremely good price. This place will NOT rip you off, which I find to be the most important aspect of an auto shop if you don t know the mechanic personally (and even then, you can run into issues). Sometimes it can be tough getting an appointment or getting something done super fast, but if you ve got the time and it s not an immediate issue to fix, I recommend them over any other place in the area.

Kurt and his team are phenomenal. Incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and honest. I trust them to do a thorough job and charge a fair price. They have a loyal customer in me for as long as I live here. My dad is a mechanic and unfortunately I live across the country from him but I trust Kurt as much as I trust my dad. This is the place to go.

I called John on a Friday to see if he would be able to install my mirror (I already had the part). He said come by Monday and was very nice. I went in on Monday and dropped my car off. Within a few hours the job was perfectly completed and he helped me out with another small issue I was having. Kurt at John s Auto Service is an outstanding Automobile Mechanic who possesses exceptional expertise in automobile repair as well as restoration! I have been bringing my vehicles to Kurt for years and will continue to do so! Kurt s proficiency in the quality work that he provides, his commitment to the customers, trustworthiness, attention to detail, follow through, as well as his honesty and integrity are hallmarks of the exceptional customer service that you receive from Kurt and the entire team! His quality of work and prices are excellent and unrivaled!!! He is very personable, informative, engaging, honest, and benevolent in relationships with his consumer-base! The entire team does amazing work! You can undoubtedly trust your vehicle to his care! I highly recommend this mechanic and this business! If I could give Kurt more than 5 stars, I would do so without reserve!

Been bringing my 2001 Jeep Cherokee to John's Auto for over 20 years. Probably have saved a small fortune by not letting the dealerships touch it. Believe everything the other reviews say. This place is AMAZING. Kurt is always friendly, open, and honest. He gets work done fast at a great quality for about 1/3 of the price that I get quoted from chain auto repair shops. You will never be disappointed and your wallet will be happy.

As good an experience as one can possibly have getting auto work done; I look forward to coming back. The price charged for repairing my lights was basically nothing, and the gentleman up front was a true professional. Highly recommended.

Kurt is a natural. Not only he gives you best price and the service but also he is a people person. You would feel he is your local to go person. He has a big energy for his customers. He will welcome you with a big smile. Not to mentioned he just charged me less as Christmas time gift.

If you are looking for superior work at the most reasonable price, this is the place. Kurt has repaired our daughters car three times in the past 2 years. We first chose him because it was close to her rental and he had good reviews. His work is meticulous! You could not tell that the car had been side swiped. Beautiful body and paint work! His price was far below other estimates, but his workmanship is far superior. He is timely and keeps his word. I cannot say enough good things about him. We live 1 1/2 hours from him, but we will use him in the future if our cars need repair. He is that good and reliable.

As a woman, I typically find going to mechanics to be very intimidating. I have had work done at John s twice and have never felt like I was being taken advantage of. Kurt is awesome, friendly, and trustworthy! I highly recommend!

If I could, I would give Kurt more than a 5/5. Kurt is so nice and helpful, and his prices are unbeatable! This is the first mechanic that I have ever worked with that I do NOT feel like I am being taken advantage of when I bring my car in. I cannot say enough nice things about Kurt at John's auto service.It may take a day or two to get an appointment because it's a smaller shop, but it is definitely worth the wait!

Kurt @ John's Auto is superb. Work has always been quick, affordable and well-done. His honesty (not over charging for simple jobs or overselling unnecessary repairs) is what sets his shop apart.

Like many others here, very skeptical about such a highly rated place that looked run down - but seriously a testament to don't judge a book by the cover! Kurt and the guys are all amazing - they are completely open and honest about problems, what's needed, and their prices. I've seen him a few times now for a few different cars and each time has gone amazing - minor things that happened to pop up he won't even charge for - I had two fuses and a light-bulb out and he replaced them without charge me a thing - amazing! Every time I give him a call he can get me in that day or the next - quite and easy. Can't speak highly enough of the place - best mechanic I've ever been to.

Excellent work, excellent prices, quick service. Kurt was very friendly. I was absolutely shocked at the cost of the repair - it was way below what I was expecting. You may have to wait for an appointment but it s worth it. Even if you have to Uber around for a few days it ll be cheaper than going to a dealership. Highly recommended.

Anytime I have a car issue I go to John s. The service is excellent, the team is friendly, the price is reasonable and above all, they are honest. I had two dents fixed and the dealer was going to charge almost 5x the price of John s. Kurt is a genuinely kind human being, in addition to the work being great and the prices more than fair. When my boyfriend's car was run off the road by an 18-wheeler, Kurt was able to fix the damage AND save my boyfriend $300! Whether we need a big job or routine maintenence, we always go to John's.

Kurt was very responsive whenever I called. Took a look at my car on short notice. There ended up being no need for repair so he didn't even charge me. Very honest!

Have only been going to John's for a few months, but I've been very happy. I would trust Kurt with just about anything. Brought my car in for a routine oil change. They ended up not being able to get to it the day I brought it in. Did it the next day, free of charge.
