John Green was a great person to work with - not pushy, very respectful of our time and answered all of our questions. The car buying experience is a LOT different (more streamlined) than "back in the day" when you sat around for hours waiting for "the manager" to approve your purchase. At this dealership at least, gone are the pushy salespeople! Paperwork process with A.J. was fast and efficient.

Every team member that I encountered exceeded my expectations. They were courteous and prompt. Another Volkswagen dealer told me that they would need to keep my vehicle for 24-48 hours to diagnose a check engine light. Fitzgerald Volkswagen Annapolis Service diagnosed and fixed my issue in less than two hours! Great dealership with exceptional service team.

I recently purchased a previously owned Volkswagen 2020 Jetta. Less than a month after purchase, I discovered a repair costing over $1,000. Jen (my Service Tech) was very informative, personable, and professional. Although the repair was not covered by either of my warranties, that's not Jen's fault! She did a great job of explaining warranties, keeping me posted on the status of the diagnostic, and making sure I knew what I was 'on the hook' for in paying for the service. She's great at what she does!

My car started overheating so I took it to a mechanic, after I realized that mechanic had no idea what he was doing and was trying to charge me $600 for labor and a part that wasn t causing the issue at all, I told him to return it and I would just take it to Volkswagen and have them look at it since they actually know what they are doing and I am so glad I did!! Jen is awesome! She texted me Wednesday morning and asked for more information about what my car was doing and she kept me updated the entire time! The service here was fast and easy!! Yes it might have been a little expensive but knowing that my car was fixed the right way it was worth every penny!! Thank you so much Jen for making my first time there go very smoothly!

I took my vehicle here for service as the last VW dealership I used was a disappointment one too many times. Really liked the drive in service center and reps were very nice. Mike Sheehi was the person who helped me get checked in and let me know when my car was ready, he was very personable and friendly. The service center waiting room is clean and comfortable with snacks/drinks provided, clean restrooms too. Originally I planned to stay while the service was done but opted to run a couple of errands instead, because of this my car took a little longer than expected but not so long that I d rate any lower. Overall a good experience and I will go back for future services on my car.

Jennifer was awesome and the service department was very friendly and fast. They even took me home while my car was getting serviced and picked me back up which was very convenient. They made my experience so easy and I will definitely come back for service again. Thank you for your hospitality!

The staff, service, and facilities at Fitzgerald VW of Annapolis are outstanding! I am always pleased with my experience. The service department is A+, quick, honest, and professional!! That is very hard to find! As a woman who doesn t have much knowledge about cars, above all, I appreciate their integrity.The complimentary refreshments and car wash are a nice touch while I wait in their very clean and comfortable lounge. It helps that the staff seem to be happy, which translates into a pleasant atmosphere.Last, but not least, I appreciate Mike and Anthony for helping me during my most recent visits. They both went above and beyond to make sure I received top tier service. Although, I don t particularly look forward to car maintenance, having pleasant encounters is the icing on the cake! I only trust my car in the hands of Fitzgerald VW of Annapolis and will continue to use and recommend them in the future. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Came in for an oil change and they found a leak and had it fixed quickly. Anthony was helpful and kind. I would recommend them to anyone needing service on their vehicle.

I scheduled my first service online which was very easy and straight to the point. Upon arrival was not sure if I should have parked or roll up to the garage (you just drive up and stop in front of that first garage door until they wave you through). The staff were very friendly and helpful with explaining the process of my first service and the waiting room was pleasant! They have water, snacks, comfortable seating, and a tv. I found it nice that the staff came in once or twice to give me an update on my service. Overall the oil change, tire rotation, and the safety check took about an hour and a half during a busy Saturday!

This is the best service department in Maryland. The mechanics always do a wonderful job.I usually have Jen as my service advisor she always takes good care of me. Fitzgerald of Annapolis is the only place I take my vehicle.

Car buying is not a kid friendly experience but the speedy, friendly, no-nonsense service we had at this location made us think otherwise. Staff was friendly and informative, it was a very pleasant experience. Not once did anyone try to 'push' a sale towards us, they simply helped us reach a decision by answering our questions and informing us of the differences between the models we were looking at. I would recommend the dealership to anyone looking for or even considering a VW vehicle.

I had scheduled a service appointment for 1 pm 1/6/23 for an oil change & to get a rattling noise looked at. We live about 1 1/2 hrs away and I chose this location over going to the VW Waldorf. We dropped my Atlas off and went to lunch. We were told it would be about 330 maybe earlier. I called for the shuttle at 3:20 after texting the number I was given with no response. It wasn t until we were waiting about 20 mins or so easily that I got a call in reference to an hour long power outage and that my vehicle hadn t been touched. We had the option to bring it back Monday or even take a vehicle home and leave it there. When we got back we were told they had about 10 or so cars in front of us. Which at that point it was evident that it was known well before I got a call that my vehicle wasn t being looked at today. It would have been nice to receive a call earlier and possibly get a take home vehicle then, that we would have entertained. But the fact that we had 3 hours driving up & back, spent 3 hours waiting, and didn t get a call when we should have to make us aware does not leave us very happy. I am 5 1/2 months pregnant and we have now waisted half a day, taken off work and we are right where we started. A simple phone call in a timely manner would have left us with a way better feeling. I chose your location as I thought we would have a positive first experience. A whole day wasted with this experience, sent this complaint in with no response it s been a week. Figured me post this here now.

I enjoyed my car-buying experience with Fitzgerald VW Annapolis. We worked with Chris Veilleux. He and the team did a great job accommodating my husband and I when we went look and when we came back to buy. There was no pressure. Pricing and negotiation was fair. And the entire process was easy and stress free. Best of all, we got a BEAUTIFUL 2024 Atlas Cross Sport. 10/10, highly recommend!

Can not say enough about the service team at Fitzgerald Volkswagen. I came in with a blown tire and Mike was helpful in getting it taken care of quickly for me. I advised I was headed to a meeting and they went above and beyond to make sure I was back on the road ASAP. Highly recommend this store.

Where to begin ..First of all, don t buy a vehicle here. Drive out of Annapolis, and you ll find the vehicles far cheaper. Don t be convinced of the no haggle price. Second, the service department here price gouges big time. Independent garages that all have good reviews can do repairs for a fraction of the cost. 3rd, and related to the service department, they don t own the shortcomings of their products. I have a 2019 Atlas that had a warranty to 72,000 miles. At 66,000 miles and under, my sunroof started leaking. This service department tried to hide behind an excuse that my leak was related to a lack of routine maintenance. They wanted me to drop hundreds of dollars to remedy the leak. I came to find out that the sunroof issue in VW vehicles is widespread. Similar to the emissions and mpg scandals, VW tried to lie and hide behind the excuse of routine maintenance. Just last year, someone finally successfully sued VW for the sunroofs being defective, and warranties were extended out to 80,000 miles. Now, I have another leak after the last clog was removed. I brought up how my vehicle was leaking prior to 72,000 miles and that there was now a lawsuit settled. This service department, however, refuses to fix the leak and the mold/mildew my vehicle now has because of the defective VW sunroof. They want $4,000 to fix the issue and had the audacity to tell me to consider trading in my car at their dealership if I didn t want to pay to fix my car. The head of the service department here even admitted to me that when they work on the sunroofs, they manipulate the parts to make them work better, which speaks to the flaws in the sunroofs. I ve tried speaking with VW corporate, and they, too, refuse to help out. I m disgusted with VW and this service department. Save your money, and stay away.

Third car we have purchased from Fitzgerald VW. John Green was fantastic to work with knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered all our questions. Pricing was fair for both the purchase and value of our trade.Everyone was easy to work with and up front during the entire process. Highly recommend.

As I drove in the service advisor Jennifer Cahill answered some of my questions regarding not starting. She recommended a full checkup as only having 3,000 miles. I was back on the road in 2.5 hours and the good was the battery was in god shape - "just run the Bug at least ounce a week".

Overall everything was good. I had an early appointment so I could get back to my kids, the service was supposed to take an hour and fifteen minutes and I got the extra car cleaning package primarily because she mentioned them cleaning the wheels, that was supposed to add another 25 minutes. Well everything took 3 hours and the extra cleaning was generally good, except for a lousy job done on the wheels.

Fitzgerald VW s service team is incredible! In a world where customer service is hard to find, this team is a shining example of the ideal model. I never thought I would say this, but I actually look forward to taking my VW in for its regular service! Thank you for making what is often just a process, be something that is pleasurable. I had a nail in one of my tires and within 2 hours of calling I was pulling out of the service bay with a freshly patched tire. Will be using them for all of my future Volkswagen service.
