EVERYONE I've worked and spoke to are extremely knowledgable, immensely helpful and super friendly (Shoutout to Tom S!!). I can 100% say that i (nor my Mom) will not be going anywhere else for future vehicles. So grateful we found Cook Thank you guys!!

The wife and I had been looking on line for used SUV'S.We had noticed that Cook Motors had quite a few on their lot. We visited Cooks and met an engaging young man. His name is Trey.He showed us what was available and tailored the search to meet our requirements. Needless to say we decided on a gray 2017 Jeep Latitude Renegade. The vehicle looked showroom new inside and out. Low mileage and a very competitive price. We also found out we were the first customers that he sold a vehicle to. If you're lookin for a reliable used vehicle vehicle see Trey at Cooks Automotive. He's a very outgoing and friendly guy. He's backed by an excellent financial group and service department. Thanks again Trey.

Amazing experience! Salesman Tom was an incredible help, we were in desperate need of a vehicle and he provided a friendly and helpful service that not only helped us get a truck but helped us calm down and enjoy the process, 10/10 recommend,

I got there with high expectations that slowly went away as I was at the dealership. I was told I could get close to what I wanted for my car trade in, so I warranted a trip and my free evening to go over. When I got there I was politely greeted, test drove a truck I liked, got back and was told the trade in was $6,500 less then what I wanted. That s not really my definition of close. So I wanted to go home, but I was missing one thing, my keys after the appraisal. My sales person said he ll go grab my keys and the manager would probably want to say hi before I leave . I should have just said I wanted to go home, but I fell for the my manager wants to say hi and thank you for coming in he just wanted to offer a small amount more, tell me my car wasn t what I want and said it was hard to believe I could get more for it. Basically saying I was lying about the offer I had from another dealership. It s business I guess and the nature of making sales, but I ve been treated better by other dealerships.

This is the hands down BEST dealership in a really long time. Tom was the absolute best guy I could ever be paired up with to guide me through the process. He was so nice in explaining everything and I got to meet the entire staff who were all very kind and a delight to be around. Even the management were still working to find me the best payment and best rates available. Tom and the staff were great at being patient and answered all questions we had and explained things so well. The Rav4 we got had some issues pop up and when we called, they got us right in the next morning. Thank you guys so much for the excellent service and time put in for us.

I had my car for only 6 months and one day the engine light comes on so I made an appointment and when I go in I am talked to rudely by one gentleman at the desk only because I asked a simple question about my coverage. And okay I didn't care that I didn't have engine coverage all I cared about is good customer service and one I didn't receive it by the gentleman at the desk. And being a nurse for 17 years I know how important it is to treat all people with the up most respect. But my husband asked to see the manager of the auto shop and he was very nice to us but my sense of respect was shorten again because he tried to first charge us $400.00 for the part for the engine then took off a $100.00 for the upset from his employee. So we left happy so we thought but we get 50 miles down the road and the engine light comes bake on again. Well needless to say they put a used part in my car my car rejected it. And so it took 5 visits before they actually stopped giving us the run around and actually fix my car. But would they give us a loaner car for all the trouble they put us through like me missing 2 days of work? No. They lied and told us that none was available yet they sent us home in a loaner car with a driver because they had the nerve to not trust us with a car but that's just my thoughts but I never thought after being a Frontline Worker you still get no respect. And I have to miss work for there mistakes unbelievable .

Cook Automotive staff is excellent and friendly and will help you find want your looking for. They are not a mega dealer but more of a family taking care of Family Patrick was an awesome salesman no pressure whatsoever. Which is why we decided to deal with them even though we live in Middletown, De. Also your legacy program is a great added bonus! Great experience all the way around!

I had a great experience working with Cook Mazda to purchase my brand new car. In the past at other dealerships, I have had to wait literally hours to make the purchase. At Cooks, it was simple and didn t take long at all to get out the door and start the driving experience in my new Mazda. Having my Mazda serviced has been super easy as well. Very happy with my decision to purchase from Cooks.

Bought myself a 2018 Volkswagen. Great deals and a friendly staff. I look forward to buying future cars from Cook auto they have a great selection of used and new vehicles. My parents even bought a newer Mazda SUV from here and they love their vehicle as well.

I personally would have never brought my vehicle here nor would I after watching the bs my husband went through. My husband called to make an appointment for a simple oil change asking if they had the specific oil his truck uses and this dealership assured him they did. Well they didn't and they mixed his oil with another they claimed shouldn't be a problem. Then they decided and without permission to do an update on his radio which then blew up the radio. This was no big deal to them because my husband had an extended warranty but still had to pay a $100. deductible before they would release the vehicle to him at no fault of his. We don't believe this was a warranty issue as it was the dealership itself who destroyed the radio. The radio was fine when we brought the vehicle in and they were never given the ok to update it in the first place. This dealership failed to communicate with performing other work and then dismissed their poor service acting like it no big deal. To me this is absolutely unacceptable so I wouldn't recommend Cooks to anyone.

They have a wide variety of cars to choose from. Mazdas, Nissan, suvs of all models. Their customer service is excellent and they are very friendly and patient. Am a happy customer and I will definitely buy from them again. They have this unique warranty called legacy plan, that has your car covered in key recovery, tire, dents windshield replacement, interior and exterior repairs.

When Cook Automotive gives you their spiel about being renowned for their family style approach - don't roll your eyes - they mean it. Our experience with our salesperson and management were beyond next level. My wife and I went in to look at some vans and found one we were excited about. After a deeper look at the vehicle, we saw some flaws that we were concerned about from an accident. After pointing this out to management, we were told that they weren't even comfortable trying to sell the van to us until they did a further inspection. They did so next day and confirmed there wouldn't be any issues down the line. And they promised to fix the aesthetical problems at no cost while giving us a loaner vehicle while it was being worked on.Everyone that worked with us was beyond thoughtful and accommodating. We couldn't recommend this dealership more.

I wish that I could give them more then 5 stars. Mr. Brown was extremely polite and helpful. We first went to him about 6 months prior and they didn't have anything in my mom's price range or what she was looking for. Well I was driving by a week ago and I seen a vehicle that was exactly what she was looking for. Mr. Brown came out and told me about the vehicle and told me that I could take it to my mom and see what she thought about it. When she came out she was so excited and happy and next thing I knew we were buying the vehicle from them. Mr. Brown stayed through the whole process and just so you know we were there until 9:30 pm. The poor man stayed 2 and a half hours past his work schedule to help us. I will be sending anyone that I know that needs a vehicle here. The manager was also every much involved through this whole process and it was extremely smooth sailing. Thank you to everyone at COOKS!!!!

Cooks should rename their name to crooks. Took my 2019 for a oil change, as I am waiting in the waiting area I over heard a phone conversation where the guy told the person on the phone sorry to tell you, You have a really bad cooling leak in your firewall it's going to cost $3000 we recommend you not drive it off the lot. 5 minutes later I go to get my keys for my car the guy said to me you have a really bad cooling leak we recommend you not pull it off the lot (not one time did I see a leak or have and problems with my heat or ac or my temperature gage) so i am saying to myself what's the odds 2 cars in 5 mins same problem. Then he said you need new windshield blades, i am like hold up I just put them on 1 week ago. It's been 1 month not one problem with my cooling an no issues with my blades so be careful dealing with the service department there they will rip you off get a second opinion what they didn't know was my son-in-law works on cars.

All I can say is I regret the 5 star rating I gave in July when I bought my 2018 used car from them. As a 6 year old car, the battery couldn't have much life left. As a CAR dealership, they know that. When a person buys an "inspected" used car and the battery goes 1 month later, I expect more than a "gee I'm sorry, but it's 6 years old" and an aloof attitude! Max, the salesperson was great and so was the finance guy, otherwise ...

I was looking to purchase a van for my growing family. I have an infant daughter and another due in January. I have been looking around for months on a good deal for a minivan, and finally after 4 months of looking I found a Fantastic deal at Cook!! I got a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan with only 48k miles for a steal and I looked at these cars for MONTHS. As soon as I saw it I inquired and Danielle responded right away and we talked about what I was looking for, how much I was looking to put down, and what I was looking for in the monthly range. I went in that evening when I got off (yesterday) with my daughter and we fell in love with the van. We got the deal done and Joe, the Sales Manager, was extremely helpful and over the top supportive and went above and beyond to get my family in the car that we wanted for a great price. Howard (Tirsh as they call him) helped me out with everything I needed from the moment I walked in and to my surprise I ran into someone familiar. Aaron Brown is a salesman for Cook s and he used to work for me and was one of the funniest, hardest working guys I had on my team before I left for a different company, imagine my surprise when I saw him at Cook s. These guys were more than welcoming and took care of my daughter and I so much!! They have a truly awesome team and I highly recommend Howard, Aaron, or Joe if you need any type of car because you will get awesome service from people that actually care about you and aren t just in it for the money!!

I saw a 2020 Nissan Maxima SV, advertised on Cooks Automotive Website, sales consultant Danielle responded immediately and was very professional. She encouraged me to visit the dealership for a test drive drive. I immediately fell in love with the car, but was not sure about the price or financing so I left. The next day Dan the sales manager called me back and assured me that we can find other financing options if I was still interested and worked with me on the pricing. I am so happy with the purchase of my Nissan Maxima 2020. I want to express my gratitude to Dan and his staff for their professionalism and knowledge of the car buying process. Thanks again, Steve for guiding me through the paperwork process and recommending an insurance company for a lower rate. I would definitely recommend Cooks Automotive to family and friends. I also admired that they were not aggressive or pushy in purchasing a vehicle. They also have an "A", rating with the better business bureau. Thanks again, Dan and staff your are truly appreciated.I will definitely be coming back for my next vehicle purchase.

It was a pleasure to work with the entire team at Cooks Automotive and I would strongly recomend their family owned business before adventuring into the dreaded nightmare vehicle purchasing world. A friendly customer experience for sure.

Cook Automotive pursues the too common strategy of obscuring the true price of the vehicle with a hefty documents fee of $499 (this is in addition to the expected tax, titling, and registration fees). This is the maximum allowed by law minus $1, and it is displayed as small and as far from the advertised price in their listings as allowed by law. They obviously don t want customers to see it. It worked for me, and I was unpleasantly surprised by the fee at closing. The general manager explained that they need to price this way to compete since all other dealers charge a documents fee. So, they are following a status-quo non-transparent pricing strategy which means they get a status-quo 3-star review. Mr. Cook, customers don t want to play I Spy with your documents fee.

I'm not normally one to write reviews, but I'm hoping to spare others from the experience I've had at Cook Automotive. Long story short, a car that was a good deal turned into a terrible deal and a huge headache.First, I offered to buy the used car in cash and was immediately told by Teena that I could not do that. I let it go because I figured I could use the loan to boost my credit. Teena then talked me into purchasing some added warranties. She failed to clearly explain how much these warranties would cost me as it made the total purchase of the vehicle go up 1.5 times. I accept some responsibility as I should have asked more questions, but I would have never agreed to the additional warranties had I known what it would end up costing me. I was furious when I got my loan information. Teena offered no understanding and said I signed the papers so nothing can be done. I then asked her if I could cancel the warranties and she said no. I then decided to call and ask for a manager to see if anything could be done. I was directed to Jason. I explained my situation and he was even less understanding and willing to help me, giving me attitude throughout the entire conversation. I was not impressed. I finally asked if I could cancel the extended warranties and he eventually said that, yes, there was a two month window to cancel the warranties. He told me to contact Josh in finance. I had to try several times to contact Josh through his phone and email to reach him. I finally did and he said the warranties could be canceled by signing a form that I could scan and email back to him. After having to follow up with him for the form, I scanned and sent it back to him. He said he'll take care of it. I've since received no further confirmation that any warranties are canceled and I have not seen any credit to my loan. The window to cancel has passed and I am completely disappointed in the service I've received. I sent Cook Automotive a review and the next day I got a text from Teena offering an empty apology and a free oil change the next time I need my car serviced. I'm very disappointed this is all that was offered to make amends for my experience.Do yourself a favor and buy a car from another dealer. I would have gladly paid a little more for my vehicle to receive proper customer service and skip this headache that I've been dealing with the past few months.
