I can comfortably recommend this location as a place to buy tires. Ed, the manager, was friendly and informative and the service was prompt and efficient.It has been my experience with Sullivan Tire, that an effort is made to provide customer satisfaction.

If I could give them a zero I would.I took my daughter s Subaru in to have a leaky tire repaired. They informed me that not only was it not repairable ( they said it had been repaired before), but would also have to replace all 4 tires, and gave me a price of $1k+ for a new set.. I found that strange as they had only 14000 miles on them and had never repaired the tire before.So I took the car to an independent garage where they were able to repair the tire for $44.For a place that specializes in tires they sure don t seem to know much about them.Clearly not trustworthy as they tried to rip us off.

This shop ripped off my parents. They had a previously diagnosed vehicle and took it to them. They said it was the gas cap at the tune of almost 200 bucks for another diagnosis. The check engine light came back on after they had left. Keeping in mind my husband is a state certified auto technician with an inspectors license. He has told them what need to be taken care but my parents didn't want to bother him.on his day off. So they brought it back to Sullivan tire. They saw two elderly people coming. They charged them 100% mark up on the part and 2 hours of labor on a job that takes about ten minutes charging them.over another400 bucks. I will be going in person there today. Please don't send anyone you love to Sullivan. Tire

As my past experience with Sullivan Tire was excellent , I knew my experience with them today would be no different. Great service, good people. This is how a business should be run. Thank you to all the employees at the Scarborough Maine location.

Stephen Hayes was very helpful - quite knowledgeable and able to answer all of my very detailed questions thoughtfully and politely. I am an engineer and pay attention to the minute details of major purchases like this and he was able to provide informed information consistent with what I have know from my own experience combined with recent research. And he did this without making me feel like I was an imposition on his time in spite of being quite busy at the shop the 2-3 times I stopped in to ask him questions.Secondly I had purchased a set of the same tires for another vehicle in 2015 and was quite satisfied with those tires and Sullivan's service then. That said, I was able to find them slightly cheaper elsewhere, but my prior experience brought me back to Sullivan.

Sullivan tire is my go to place for tires and brakes. Their staff is always so pleasant and they don t try to oversell you. I even went in because I was told I needed new tires by the dealer and Sullivan said I m no where near needing them yet. So I ll wait and will absolutely get them from Sullivan when the time comes.

Once again we are totally impressed with Sullivan Tire in Scarborough! They are professional, knowledgeable and kind. They always seemed to go the extra mile. My 2001 Honda needed a part to past inspection and Matt looked up the part for me on Amazon and printed it out with notes to make it super easy. Talk about exceptional customer service ! Thanks Matt and Mark. You guys are the best!!

I was in the middle of a two day delivery. Noticed psi low 40 psi, and spike In tire. Unfortunately not repairable. Contacted the Scarboro location, tires in stock. Got me in right away. In and out in 45 minutesThese guys were extremely helpful, efficient and professional and worked late to get me back on the road again. Highly recommend!

I am very pleased with my experience today with Sullivan Tire. I had a blowout on a tire last night that could not be repaired. I had to drive home from Maine to Massachusetts today, and did not want to drive home on the spare. Called the Sullivan Tire in Windham, and they said they had the tire in Scarborough, but were not sure they could get it to Windham in time to do it today. He recommended I call the Scarborough shop and see if they could squeeze me in. I spoke with James at Scarborough and he said if I came in around noon he would do his best to get me in. I was done by 1:00 and on my way home. Thanks very much Sullivan!!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. My husband had a flat today on I95 north, he has a smart car with special tires. After getting the tire off and stopping at VIP in Scarborough, they couldn't fix it. We picked the tire up at 5:15pm, they said to try Sullivan. My husband called, Matt said they had the size and could put it on the rim no problem. We got there at 5:40pm, we were walking out the door with a new tire by 5:50pm! Matt and his team really saved our evening. Great service at such short, emergent notice. Thank you!!!!

You won t find the array of services like you do here.. practically ANY make or model, they have the know-how. Good people, they treat fair and you know how rare that is with mechanic/tire shops

First time being there at Sullivan Tire in Scarborough and it was a very positive experience. People are very professional there and I felt like they did a very good job. Got (4) tires for my 2016 Jeep

I cannot express enough how pleased I am with this place. My family and I were in a tight situation with our vehicle's two right side tires getting blown out due to a pot hole in the road... and Mark at Sullivan Tire could not of treated myself or the situation any better. More importantly he was very honest about everything. I will not go to any other tire place in Maine! Sullivan Tire in Scarborough is the best!!

Very impressed with the attention to detail and professionalism exhibited at this shop. Was quoted and thoroughly walked thru pricing for some maintenance and lite repair work. Called when it was done and to my surprise it came in UNDER THE ESTIMATE!

Fantastic service from a fantastic crew. I had a TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) issue which needed attention not everyone can work on that and Store Manager John McKenzie and Jaime (I think he too is a manager; and a great one at that) took exceptional care of me and I would not hesitate returning here for...well...anything.Indeed...I plan to.

Was visiting area and it was cold out. Tires need air and two gas stations air machines were defective. Took the air out not put Air in! Called, they said come right over and we will check tires for free! So appreciative. Very professional and nice to deal with

Money is very tight. I called earlier in the morning to inquire about cheaper tires. The potential savings was found to be on the minimal side, so I authorized the original tires. Matt, a service writer, looked into giving me a break on the price of the tires and was able to. This was enormously appreciated!! Thank you, very much!! Happy Holidays to the team at Sullivan!!

Just a little warning about Sullivan tires in Scarborough Maine. I took my van in for winter tires and just winter tires. When I went to pick the van up after the installation. They told me that I had a list of things that needed to be fixed or addressed. They told me they did an inspection even though I did not ask them to do so. There was no way I was letting them do the work from the list they gave me, I took the van to my mechanic who just looked at the van a month before and has been doing my work for years and I trust very much. I had him check their list, one thing on the list was transmission coolants lines were leaking. When he looked at them he said the lines had been man handled and a leak was created by the technician pulling the lines up and down. He also told me that they were not leaking the month before when it was on his lift. They also pounded on the frame and put a hole in a fragile area my mechanic said he could see the marks from where Sullivan s mechanic was pounding. The icing on the cake one of the two tires that they put on to the van has lost the hub cap. They can t even put on hub caps correctly. In the end I will never take another vehicle there again and they cost me an extra $1,400 from their little inspection.

My car (Audi A4) was making an awful noise and my family suggested I go to Sullivan tire before driving back home to boston. I got to the store on Brighton in portland at 4:15 and asked if they would just look at it because I was afraid to drive two hours home. He was rude and said no they were busy and close at 6.So I went to the store on rte 1 in Scarborough. Matt at the front desk and his mechanic, Mike, agreed to take a look at my car. It was the wheel bearing. Matt was able to get the parts delivered right away even though it was about 5:00 at this point. The mechanic, David, worked to get it fixed so I could get home safely. I am so grateful! Big thanks to Matt and David!

Such wonderful people. We are on a road trip, and our rented car started showing a flat tire. We pull in, and they quickly check our tires, pump the problematic one up, and give it back. It was such a pleasant experience, everyone was absurdly helpful and absolutely did not overcharge.

My family and I were on a camping trip from Buffalo, NY. Our alternator quit while we were at Old Orchard Beach. I called and talked to Mark the manager, and he got me in that same afternoon (a Saturday) without an appointment. We also had a sway bar replaced. We were leaving Monday and towing a camper, and were worried that we weren't going to leave on time or get home safely. However, the work was completed that afternoon and we were safe to go home. Mark and David, the technician, were good to us, and I highly recommend Sullivan's Tire if you need work done on your vehicle.

On more than one occasion, Sullivan Tire has spent 30-45 mins. diagnosing an issue without changing me anything. Keeps me coming back. Honestly is rare in automotive repair but these guys have been honest and fair over & over. 5 star

I m pretty sure the sullivans in Scarborough didn t even do my oil change. I Took it to them before a cross country trip and while on the road we noticed the tires were all low, it needed a quart of oil and now needs coolent. I will have to take in while traveling! I wouldn t recommend this location.
