Chris and Hunter did a great job replacing six large 6 X 3 windows encased in oak trim. Chris was a pleasure to work with, he was polite, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what we needed at a price much lower than the other company that we talked to. They made what I thought would be a challenging job look easy.

This was my second trip to Portland glass in Rumford with a cracked windshield in my Toyota Tacoma, man winters in Maine sure do a number on windshields. After I noticed the crack my first stop the next day that I had off was to the Portland Glass office in Rumford. I was greeted as I walked through the door by Melanie whose customer service is excellent. She quickly scheduled my appointment to replace the windshield. When I showed up for the appointment I was greeted by name and invited to have a seat in the waiting room next to a lovely warm propane heater. Within 2 hours my windshield was fully replaced with all stickers and devices (easy pass and the receiver for my car starter) attached to the new windshield. The technician that did the work Hebert was also friendly and explained proper care for the next few days to avoid future issues. Because of the great customer service I will be returning for any of my glass needs and will recommend anybody with glass work needs to go to them!

Beautiful shower doors installed by Chris. I had a little issue with one of the doors and he was here to fix it quickly. I like the fact that they stand behind their products. That kind of service is not easy to find these days! Thanks again

I came in for my Jeep Renegade because of a chip. Chris and Mel were there to greet me with a smile and got the job done effectively, efficiently and quick! I could tell they care about their customers and I would highly recommend them to anyone. It s refreshing to do business with people that care!

I like it when I need to spend money and the experience is also a pleasure, which is exactly the case working with Chris and his team (Mel, Hunter, Mike) at Portland Glass of Rumford. It was a challenging job and the results were just phenomenal. I have more windows to replace later (condensation compromise) and I will be calling Chris.

Great service and knowledge. Chris was extremely helpful. I thought I had a windshield leak somewhere and Chris tried everything he could to find a leak and said he found no leak. That saved me alot of money in changing the windshield. Got me in right away within an hour after our conversation. This business is the way a business should be run. Go here for honesty and knowledge. I will be using Rumford Portland glass for all my future glass needs. Thank you so much.

Great place to get home windows and front doors replaced. These guys do it all when it comes to glass, not just cars, and take the time and effort to make sure it looks great.We had 6 new windows in our home replaced and a new front door put in and could not be happier with the final product. Brought my wrangler in today for a new windshield, and they did great work! The lady even gave me a little discount, and they also put a duck on my dash, which absolutely made my day! Very friendly customer service as well. I highly recommend! Thank you guys!

Real nice place!! Went in to get a mirror replaced, they cut the mirror and fitted it into the hutch door frame. In and out in 5 minutes!Workers are courteous, gave a retired military discount, plus gave out a rubber duck for being a Jeep owner. The worker, Chris, was an all around "nice guy".

My windshield was hit by a rock on tuesday 4/12/22 which resulted in me needing a whole new windshield. I came in and spoke to the manager Chris ! Super nice guy who helped me out tremendously. He was able to get me in on Friday instead of the following week due to me and my family traveling to Florida. He tried his hardest to find me a decent priced windshield but being my car has all the safety features my windshield unfortunately costed a little penny (which is fine) . Well Thursday morning came and I received a call that they had a cancellation and asked if I would like to bring my car to be fixed that day (which I did) . Process wasn t long and the results were amazing ! I truly recommend this place for all of your glass needs !!

These guys really helped me out of a jam when a brand new vinyl replacement window was broken before I could even install it.Created the piece of insulated glass (better rated than the one that came on the original window), and installed it quickly in home.Special thanks to Chris for making the process as painless as possible.

Outstanding!!! Had a repair last year at another Portland Glass location. It did not compare to how well the Rumford team provided service and did a superb job of fixing a bad rock hit. Thanks so much!!! It s perfect. You are the best!!

The young man named Chris Cornwell was very kind and did an amazing job replacing my windshield on short notice. He has excellent customer service and I would recommend him to anyone needing glass repair. Thanks Chris for dealing with my silly questions and being such a nice young man

I went in for a chip repair and Chris had me in and out very quickly. The repair itself was practically invisible. I've had previous chip repairs and windshield replacements, and I'm glad to see these guys maintaining both a high level of service and a high quality of work.

Chris, at Portland Glass Rumford, delivered exceptional service in a crisis situation for us here in Bethel! What a fine young gentleman! The service was delivered in a timely and professional manner. And I love what he has done to the Showroom office! had my windshield replaced on my jeep liberty after a logging truck threw a rock into it.Chris ordered the new one and as soon as it came in it was changed and no leaks.very happy with the work. i also had a front screen door that got broken window in in under a week even with a shortage of workers.he is a good worker and i will come here whenever i have need for glass work.

The Manager Chris Conwell is amazing. When I came in he was incredibly nice and inviting and listened to what I had to say. He took the time to inspect the windshield when he couldn't identify the leak that I had mentioned was there and when he didn't find any leaks around the windshield took the time to look at other possibilities. He discovered it was the drains for our sunroof were clogged and getting backed up and letting in water. He cleared the clog himself and saved me so much time and money. Cannot say enough how grateful I am that he was the one to help me out! Definitely going to make the point of returning again for any future service.

I personally am far too often disappointed with the companies (whether by choice or necessity) that I interact with. One of the biggest issues is usually in the area of customer service, a term which appears to confuse a very high percentage of vendors, service providers etc.I needed a windshield replacement. I did price comparisons before scheduling the work. Portland Glass was significantly lower than some other large glass service providers, very easy to deal with and quite simply the most convenient for me.I scheduled online on a thursday afternoon and the job was done on the following monday morning at the Rumford, Me. location. Chris, the manager, is a friendly, polite and accomodating professional who definetly has a full understanding of customer service. I am very pleased (attaboy Chris!). I would not hesitate to do business there again.FYI they are not limited to auto glass service and I encourage people with residential needs to call. I suspect that your specific needs will be met with the same results that I pleasantly experienced.

While driving in Rumford on Rt 2 in my mother s car, the windshield was hit with a rock and cracked. As we were heading out of town, we stopped at Portland Glass to see if it would be safe to continue. Chris looked at it and said he could fix it right then. 20 minutes later we were on the road again and could barely see where the break had been. I have been to this location before and they have always gone above and beyond to help!!

Good service, and they give you a 1 year warranty on windshields, 2 weeks afterni replaced mine a rock kicked up from another vehicle and broke it. I called to order another one, and they told me it it was $120 less than I expected!!! That was great news

A tree fell on my windshield while on vacation 170 miles from home. They were able to get a replacement installed without issue. Customer service was also very friendly.
