we were told by the owner that we need strut replacement because they were leaking fluid. Upon removal ,the struts were found to be in perfect condition with no leaks and the correct fluid level in the strut itself.They were replaced by factory parts and a shop that knows how it,s done right. Dave's Service Center will never touch anything we own again not even my Mower. Inspection Enforcement has been notified

Don t go there, rude and not professional.just went there to have my light bulb changed. I told them to look at 2 bulbs that needed to be changed and my car trunk lock that needed to be tightened.I have never paid more than $20 to have my light bulb changed but this time they charged me $95.My mistake was to trust them and to leave the shop without checking the car, after 2 min I noticed that the light wasn t changed came back to tell them and the women at the front got mad about it saying that I was accusing her of not changing the bulb. To which I responded no I m just saying that I came to have my bulb changed and it is still not working. And she was answering in very rude tone that I will need to book another appointment to get my bulb fixed and pay for that work again. That the light stopped working after I had left the shopHow can I pay 95 dollars for something and hasn t been done? She just responded screaming that I could make another appointment or be angry about it.

My car was dropped off via tow truck over the weekend while they were closed. I called at opening Monday morning with my info and my car was looked and and fixed within a few hours!!! Current hourly labor rate is at $104/hr and I was glad to be back on the road. Excellent communication every step of the way!!

Amazing place. Customer service is top-notch. Hailee is very down to earth, and I love how she takes the time and care to explain everything. Her and her dad, Dave, are the reason why I coordinate my car maintenance with my trips to Maine.

Best place to go! Sometimes going to a garage as a women can be intimidating. NOT HERE. Hands down best place to go! They know what they are doing, and get it done right. And on the off chance you ve got to bring your car back in they are so good/ nice/ and professional about it.

I've had consistently good service at Dave's. It's a family owned garage with many loyal customers. First time I went I brought in my car because I was taking the kids down to Boston and asked them to look over it and find any problems. That's a good opportunity for someone to drum up work. They said it was okay and didn't need anything. Other times when I've gone in they've been able to salvage parts from scrap yards and saved me quite a bit of money on repairs. They're good honest people, I recommend them.

I highly advise not to go here if you care about your safety and vehicle. They don't know how to jack a car properly put not just 1 hole but 3 into my fiance's van and then after admitting fault. Called and made it out to the state so they are not liable for ruining her van. Take your car to any other shop in town they cost less and take better care of you and don't lie and damage your vehicle because they can not afford qualified mechanics to work on their customers vehicles.

We had a last minute issue with our Audi after nailing a pothole on an icy road. Most of the suspension on the passenger side immediately started grinding and shaking. After looking around at shops online I called dave's. Dave himself answered the phone and told me to bring it down. Couple hours later he had a comprehensive list and a very fair quote. Next morning we get a call and it's all set. He does good work and the price is very fair, no trying to sell you everything you won't need. Just short quick and to the point. I'll be taking all my cars here, Dave's a good guy.

They are always super busy but are always very friendly and helpful.I take all my vehicles to Dave and his crew.Excellent place. A bit hard to get in and out of due to traffic and his parking lot is a little small. Always full of vehicles needing repairs so that just shows how busy they are.

When you have a squirrel of a problem, they'll take care of you. Nice staff that got my pickup running in no time after a squirrel decided to do some acrobatics in the belt and pulley system. Traffic can be a bear to get out of here, but it is in a great location!

Not only are they friendly, they re FAST! Best prices for quality work. I ll never take My vehicle or even future vehicles anywhere else. Trustworthy and dependable. Go here even if your not in the area. It s worth it.

My first experience with Dave's I had to have some work done on a van I had all the parts I called and got a quote and when I had the work done they stayed within the quote so I started to go there for inspections and everything on my second and third inspections with them didn't go so well I had to pay them $713 on the second one for emergency brake pads and cable and a couple of other things now on to the third inspection they wanted me to pay $ 1600 now I couldn't pay that because I'm on a fixed income I lost part of my leg just before the second inspection so I asked for a list of what they said was wrong I told I'll do the work myself I have worked on trucks and cars most of my life and I looked over my jeep before I went there and noted what possibly could make it so it wouldn't pass well it didn't so I ordered the parts they said I needed when I replaced the rear brakes I noticed that the parking break cable had not been replaced nor was the pads the year before and the other things they said needed replacing did not I knew about the rear brakes but I bought every thing they said I needed to replace in all it cost me around $400 to do it myself and I have some replacement parts all for one fourth of what they quoted me for them to do the job I had another company do the inspection with me only replacing the rear brakes an rotors so do not go there unless you know about cars and trucks mechanics they didn't know that I did and it cost them losing out on some moneyService: Vehicle safety inspection

I've brought my 1988 Pontiac Bonneville to Dave for quite A few years now. He has nothing but exceeded my expectations every time. He does a great job for an honest price and I have and would recommend him to anyone.

Our car was breaking down on the way to mn and they were willing to get our car in as soon as we got there and they got off their lunch break. Very reasonably priced and great service, definitely recommend them to all of you who want a fully functional car.

It seems like they care about me when I come in there and very way back and all about making sure the work is done right for them..I have learned over the past few years that finding a mechanic that cares about it being done right is getting more difficult to find but these guys definitely care about making sure that the quality of work it is done, is done right!

Not to Bad, got my jeep in there for tire replacement and waited only about 20 minutes. The workers seem ok, cause I didn't know them personally, but will more likely go their again.
