He's not a crook and the mechanical work can be trusted, but unless money isn't an issue for you, go somewhere else.It's not enough to make an honest $75/hr or whatever they charge, he's not interested in touching your car unless he can rip you off on parts as well. Got your own part already? Too bad.Did a bunch of suspension work on my wife's car for inspection and never told her she needed an alignment afterword, so within a month her 2 brand new front tires were trashed.Also twice now I've asked for an estimate on a fairly large job and never been called back. I will take my business to someone who wants it, thanks.

Rowe Auto Service has taken excellent care of our Subarus for the past 15 years. The safety of their clients' cars is one of their main concerns. When my wife and I bring our cars in for routine service, Rowe Auto checks over the entire vehicle. They let us know the state of the various systems, letting us know in advance work that will need to be done to maintain our safety, and the safety of others. For instance, they might report that the front brakes are within specifications right now, but in another 10K miles or so, we will need to address this concern with new pads and resurfaced rotors. Their estimates of the cost of repair are honest and spot-on. They never perform work unless authorized to do so by us. They have kept our vehicles on the road, and have kept us safe through many thousands of miles. I always highly recommend Rowe Auto Service to all of my friends. They are friendly, honest and efficient!

This place is the Gold standard!! After extensive search for reasonable price major Subaru engine work. A friend recommended Bob Rowe. Have 2008 Forester in Maine and 2017 STI LTD in Texas. Bob has essentially refurbished Forester engine ie every seal, power steering and more. Drives like new with 124k miles. The hp increase feels like 20% boost. Bob runs one clean shop and itemization on invoice looked aircraft A&P documentation. Only wish my STI was in Maine too.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Oil change

We had a team headed to Rangeley this morning and had issues with loose lug nuts on a tire. The owner's son was quick to help us out, tightened the problem lug nuts and checked every one. I've been going to Rowe for the last 5 years now for my vehicle's needs and I have never left that shop with a negative experience. They are honest, fantastic workers who will tell you what needs to be done and what can wait. The work is done with obvious skill and professionalism.I will never go to another Auto Body shop here in Farmington other than Rowe.

1/4 mile from downtown Farmington, Maine and UMF. Specializes in Subarus but services and repairs most other makes and models. Oil changes, tires, brakes, suspension components, tuneups etc. Does not do alignments. Does not work on diesels or any pickup trucks over 3/4 ton.Reviews should include how you were treated, timely repair, communication and overall condition of facility and friendliness of staff. This business has been open since 2004 and provides full transparency to there customers when it comes to estimates and repairs. Repairs are fully documented to provide the customer with a full explanation of what was done to there vehicle and all repairs are warrantied for 1 year or 12,000 miles.Please make your own judgement and go with Rowe!

Our 11 year old car with 180,000 miles is perky and happy after excellent service at Rowe Auto. They were thorough, always kept us informed, and the price was better than another quote we had.

My daughter goes to school in Farmington. She was having trouble with her Jeep. I called Bob he got her Jeep in ASAP. The issue was fixed and explained with thought and detail. When ever you can get a car fixed for your daughter in college 3 hours from home for a more then fair price and professional service. They have my business.

Been having front end noise. 3 local mechanics found nothing. These guys found issue during inspection and came in under estimate for repair. Also made appointment, done in the time frame. Don't over commit like many around here.

Went there for an inspection and was told everything was good but one shock was bad. I said I will get that taken care of and all of a sudden was being told they were going to call the cops on me. Questionable business practice much?
