I walked in to inquire about the complementary tire rotation that was mentioned when I bought my new tires. They were able to fit me right in immediately because there was an opening. When I walked back to the desk three minutes later, and said, what are the chances you could fit in an oil change as well they said the chances are good. That was the fastest service I ve ever had the most pleasant and efficient experience at the desk and we even got to watch $1 million car auction in the waiting room with complementary mints as we waited. A nice sunny place and friendly and efficient staff, couldn t ask for more!

I dropped my car off without an appointment, needing a new alternator. I was told they could probably get to it the next day. Three hours later I got a call. It was done! They had had a cancellation and decided to get my car done in that time slot. I am grateful and amazed. Most places are booked out weeks and they took me as a walk in and got it done immediately, in record time. Thank you!!!

I've always had a great experience at Foshays! But yesterday, they literally saved me from a mess. Lost my brakes, rolled through a light and rolled into this shop. They were swamped and still got me back on the road in less than a day! And I can't say enough about how nice they are. Thank you all!!!

The staff in the Damariscotta shop are very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I appreciate how thorough they are. I know when I call, the guys will get my vehicle in as soon as they can and fix it!

Stopped for a followup on my tires and had a minor issue. The wonderful staff got me right in and took care of my problem. All greeted, treated and serviced well. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I recently had my jeep in for an oil change and tire rotation. Ian was the technician that did all the work and he was very professional. He got the job done in a timely manner and answered any of my questions and concerns. I ll definitely be coming back again and requesting Ian.

AMAZING! I had just written a long review and accidentally deleted it. But take it from me they didn't know me from the next guy, but 48 hours before I was ready to leave on a long long road trip I discovered a leaking valve stem. My regular mechanic was unable to get to it today and recommended I bring it here. I am so grateful to the staff at this place not only did they say if I brought the wheel in they could probably make time to get to it but there were no guarantees. Within an hour it was done! They were so kind and thoughtful! I'm super grateful to have this place in our community and look forward to doing business with them again soon. Although on the other hand I guess I hope I don't have to! Haha!

I ve been going there for a couple years now. Lately I ve noticed that every time I had work done, something else seems to go wrong. The staff is always very friendly but I think I m going to start going to another auto shop. After I got my snow tires on, my alignment was all messed up. I called to have it looked at and they said they would take care of it for me. I still ended up paying $113 for them to fix it even though I started having an alignment issue right after my car was in the shop.

Highly Recommend!!Brought my lawn mower tires to get changed they worked on it promptly did a wonderful job and in 15 minutes they were done. They didn't want to charge me so I ended up tipping the workers handsomely!! I will definitely be returning here for future tire needs.

Service is great here. I was updated by Gage on all that was happening. Making my wait so much better. Very please with the work on my brakes and prices on tires and labor cost. I will do more business with them. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend doing business there.

What incredibly nice guys! I came to visit my friend from out of state who just had her tires repaired. My tire was low and needed air. We went in and they filled them all up with a smile and a friendly demeanor. I thank them and they wish me a good day.The service center in Vermont I've been using was caught sabotaging cars. Did they think nobody would ever find out and share that information?The kind of behavior I experienced in Maine at Don Foshay's is infectious! If more people were kind, generous and helpful the whole world would change!I wouldn't hesitate to go get service when I'm visiting Maine at Foshay's to get new tires or have service done.

I was desperate when I discovered that I was in urgent need of an oil change while on vacation in mid-Maine. I searched and found Don Foshay s Tire and Auto in Damariscotta, which had all five star reviews. I was at their store when they opened at 7:30 am, and was back on the road by 8:00am with my fresh oil change, and a new brake light bulb that they had discovered had burned out. The folks were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. I would highly recommend this business that helped make my vacation experience a great one. Their five star rating is well earned.

We were only in town for a few days when we noticed the tow vehicle we use with our motorhome vibrating badly. Afraid to continue with our travel plans, we inquired about a good local tire company from some folks we met while visiting New Harbor, ME. They recommended Don Foshay s of Damariscotta without hesitation. And thank goodness they did. We called Monday morning, and Darren, the manager himself answered the phone. He gave us an appointment for first thing Tuesday morning. Realizing that they didn t have the tires in stock, they put our car back together so we could run errands, do laundry and return just as the new tires were offloaded from the delivery truck. By 1:00 that same afternoon, we had brand new tires, peace of mind, and a terrific experience with Don Foshay s, a local tire company that really cares about the customer. The fact that they have multiple locations really came in handy. Darren recommended checking the lug nuts after about 50 miles of driving on the new tires. Since we were leaving the area early the next morning, it worked out perfectly to stop at Don Foshay s of Brunswick Maine where the manager Todd had his man get right on it and tighten the lugs. What a company!

Every experience at Don Foshay's in Damariscotta has been a great experience. I really feel the customer service is knowledgeable, honest and pleasant. This is a must being a woman. I know a bit about cars, so not the norm but I feel confident referring them to my female friends for any service they supply. Great job guys.

I was vacationing at Lake Damariscotta when one of our car tires decided to go flat. We were at the point where we needed to replace all 4 tires. I called and spoke with the manager, and they were able to give us a same day appointment for 4 new tires and do an alignment. The garage was immaculate, and the customer service was fantastic. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Thank you for saving our vacation from ruin and getting us back home safely on 4 new tires.

Just like many others here, I was on vacation camping and had a tire pressure issue and they fit me right in and found the leak and patched it up. Really nice guys too - it was a pleasure having a conversation with them. Thanks so much again!!

I just found out there s a rust hole in my frame that s so large that it shouldn t have passed inspection. In addition to that I was told by the Subaru dealer that there s lots of things wrong with my car. I wasn t told anything when I went to Don Foshays for service. Nobody ever mentioned a hole in my frame. I m not happy. My car ended up being undrivable due to the torque converter being bad, but they wouldn t even fix it due to the hole in my frame! So I had to buy another car because I couldn t even drive my car home from the dealer!!

Good bunch people here! Camping at Pemequid for week got a flat didn't have a spare sqeezed me right in on a Saturday and mounted balanced my own tire no prob was worried not make it home..no more worries thanks so much!!!

Great experience! Needed a new battery for the car and they were able to replace it immediately while I waited. Exactly what we needed for a decent price (car batteries are expensive!). Also scheduled an oil change and inspection for our second vehicle for the next day. Solid service, flexible schedule. Very satisfied.

Don Foshay s is a great place to have your car inspected, tire pressure checked and alignment completed. (My personal car experiences.) The gentlemen are helpful and courteous. As a single woman, I highly recommend this business to other women. The employees I have interacted with have been respectful and honest. The rates are reasonable as well. Happy motoring !

Great service, professional employees. I needed new tires and they asked me questions about my driving to help me pick the right tires. I also went in for an inspection sticker, and they found I had no brake lights! They fixed the problem on the spot. Would definitely recommend.

I went there to get a sticker. After looking at the car they gave me an estimate for $1100.00 to have rear bushings done and said I needed all new brakes and rotors. My brakes were 2 weeks old. They insisted they needed to be replaced. I took the car to another mechanic to have the bushings done (their quote 150) and I paid 70 bucks. I then asked this mechanic to check all of the brakes. He told me he would send his daughter across country in this car with those brakes. I went to a dealership and had them do the inspection sticker and it passed fine. Don FOSHAYS tried to rip me off. The only good thing I can say is that they were very pleasant!
