They did a great job and offered taxi service to and from work. I had to call several times to arrange a pick up time when I was left a message my car was finished. I feel their individual costs for a separate interior or exterior detailing, were too high. Their charge was at the top of what I would pay in the future for a complete detail. We brought our vehicle in for two issues and dropped it off on a Sunday. I received a call the next day to say it was fixed and we could come pick it up. I paid for it over the phone and went to pick it up after hours. The key was not left in it and one issue was not fixed. My husband spoke with someone inside and they said it was an error and it was not fixed yet. The next day, I received another call saying it was now fixed and we could pick it up. Again we drove the 1/2 hour there and the key was in it this time, but it was still not fixed. There was no one in service to speak with, so we put a note and left the key. The next morning I called and spoke with the service manager and he said the parts that had to be ordered were not in and the person working on it was not in that day. They would have it ready the next day. The next day he called and said the parts had not yet been ordered and they had just ordered them. It would be ready the next day. On Friday I received a message that it was fixed and ready for pick up. We again went after hours to pick it up, it appeared to be fixed. We did not realize until after we left that the key was not left in it. We had to go back the next day to get the key and paperwork.It seems the people working in service do not speak with each other or make notes of what is going on with the vehicle. A lot of wasted time and aggravation driving back and forth. We wanted to purchase a vehicle there that we liked, but are worried about the service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Service was good . The waiting room could use a lot of TLC. . I was there at 1:30. In the afternoon and I picked up a newspaper that was 4 days old. 2 empty ice coffee cups and an empty soda bottle. The work is as expected, however the communication between the business and the customer is not great. Everytime I bring my car in to get serviced it is a hassle because they do not offer loaner cars so I have to arrange for someone to pick me up and bring me back to get my car. I always call around 4-4:30 because I have not heard anything from them and it s never a straight answer of yes or no your car is ready. I drop my car off in the morning on the day of my scheduled appointment and they close at 5 so it would be nice if they let you know before 5 so that you can arrange for someone to bring you to pick up your car. This last time I brought my car in to get my window fixed and called around 4:15 to see if it was ready after hearing nothing all day, come to find out my widow had shattered on accident but I was never notified until I called. I am not upset about the window because it was an accident and they had planned to fix it and provided me with a car to use until it was done, it was just frustrating to not find out until 30-45 min before closing and because I had made the effort to reach out. Everyone there is very friendly, but the communication definitely needs attention.Services: Auto power window repair, Oil change

The oil change and tire rotation took 2.5 hours. I was worried they were charging me by the hour. They wanted to replace my BMW battery for $510! I called elsewhere and it will be done for $350. Make of that what you will. This is also the dealership that told me I had run flat tires which I continued to use to drive on only to realize that they were regular tires. I could ve been killed with this incorrect knowledge. No spare tire and not even a front license plate bracket came with the car. Half a tank of gas and a shoddy cleaning job. They also charged me $23,000 and my car is worth $14,000 only 5 months later. I would not use them again to purchase from or for their service department. My car needed inspection, tires, and covered emission part replaced. They also went above and beyond to help me with getting my registration stickers to adhere to my plates and fixed a random seal surrounding my panoramic moon roof. I was there for a software modification to my Chevy Bolt.The people in the service department were great. They were courteous and did the work done faster than I anticipated. However, it did take an hour. Since I am 73 years old and since the omicron variant is spreading so rapidly I am trying to avoid getting it while the health care system is overwhelmed, so I tend to be on the cautious side.The most secluded place I found to wait was in the showroom. My observation was that all of the customers were properly masked. The service personnel were either wearing masks or secured their masks properly when they came out into the public area. However there was one man, presumably from sales, who was wandering around the showroom without his mask properly covering his face. That did not sit well with me.AMENDMENT:I received a call from the Goodwin's General Sales Manager acknowledging my concern about masking in the public areas and apologizing for the omission I pointed out. He indicated that he would meet with the staff and ensure the they all understand that following the Brunswick mask mandate is for the health benefit of everyone, but additionally he wanted his customers to feel that Goodwin wants its customers to feel safe while they are in the building.This call made me feel that Goodwin cares; I was very impressed by the sincerity of the response and based on that I am changing my rating from three stars to five stars.

We were traveling from Minnesota when we broke down. The service department was extraordinary. They took care of us right away and went over above and beyond what their scheduling called for. Our mechanic even came in on his day off so we could get on the road again as soon as possible. We would especially like our service representative and mechanic to be recognized for their extraordinary care and consideration for our situation. Sales Team is great, but highly recommend using a different Chevrolet Service Department. Service is not quick with scheduling even with recalls, don't even go over the paperwork at the end of Service. They ask you to sign and that's it. Not the friendliest.Service: TiresService: Tires

I was very pleased with the service from Goodwin s Chevrolet in Brunswick. I had an emergency issue with my car and had it towed there (closest dealer to where i broke down). Of course the t was on Sunday and they were closed. So first thing Monday morning I met with Patrick in the service department. I explained the issue and he quoted me a diagnostic price. He said it may be a couple days before it could be looked at due to other scheduled service work. Which I understood. Later that day he called to let me know it was diagnosed and a price for repair. Of course I hated that part. Don t we all. But it needed to be fixed. The next morning Patrick called to let me know the repairs were complete. I was happy with the work and Patrick keep me updated throughout. Highly recommended.Service: Transmission

Had appointment for vehicle inspection,winter tires to my all season tires changed over,and an alignment. The alignment equipment wasn't working properly so couldn't get that done. Was there for 2 1/2 hrs for the inspection and changing out my tires. Have to take my business elsewhere to get rest of service done. We took our SUV in for auto body repair after being involved in an accident. Service was excellent and the workmanship top notch. The car looks better than before the accident. Communication was great and employees professional. I bought a 2016 Ford Fusion with the normal 30 day warranty for a used vehicle. After 1 day, I returned to this dealership with an electrical problem with the dials in the dashboard not illuminating. After finding the issue, your sales manager told me it would cost another $800 to repair, and that, too bad so sad, they were not gonna fix it. The sales person I bought it from assured me everything was in perfect order. This sales department lost me as a customer, and fair warning, be careful what you buy from this dealership.Services: Electrical, Vehicle Inspection

was schedule for a 730AM service appointment . Apparently that just means it s a time to drop off a car and they will just get around to it whenever they please. Phil has no personality whatsoever and was actually rude on the phone. Spoke with the service manager Garett and he was very nice and understanding as to why I was upset. Because of Garrett I m giving this place 3 stars. I m glad the services are done and over with. Won t go back their if I can help it. . Their labor rate is highway robbery at 150$ an hour. I had lights on and was told from another mechanic my BCM needed to be replaced and program which was fine. I had it done and I was told I was pretty much SOL. Instead of trying to figure out why those lights are on. If I had my way back would ve never gone to this place. Especially with their labor rate. If you go here , I hope you have deep pockets. Cause I spent 2/3 of my check here just for my advisor to be rude to me.

Goodwin performed a 60,000 mile maintenance check up, and an oil change.They took us right in to the shop when we arrived. We told them when we set up the appointment that we would just be dropping the car off early morning and letting them work on it as they had the time. We were informed that our appointment was at 8:30. We were made to feel a little bit like we fouled up their schedule. We would suggest that they improve their communications to their customers in this regard. We love the idea that they sent us a video of the work that the mechanic had performed. Again, would suggest that they explain some of the technical stuff. As they pointed out that our brakes were 4 mm or something, neither my wife no ride have any idea what that meant. Overall I would recommend these folks, like everyone else, they are shorthanded and we need to be patient.Service: Oil change
