I needed a transmission replaced. They allowed me to choose a used transmission (from bow auto salvage) with less than half the miles on the car. The transmission was delivered the next day (Came with 6 month warranty, I added a labor warranty for $200). The repair was done promptly (I made an appointment as the car was still drivable) and on the estimate. I was very happy with the result.

Car has been there for 3 weeks going on 4, have been told multiple times it will be done by the end of the week. Currently Friday 10 minutes before close and still have not gotten the call I was told I d get yesterday or today. Very unhappy. Was also told a part was broken when it got to them, that I m pretty sure wasn t broken and they re of course having me pay for it. I just want my car back I don t understand what s taking so long.

I was traveling with my one year old son when our car decided it was time to light up like a Christmas tree. Northeast knew exactly what was wrong, got us in and then fixed the issue so quickly. They are good people who care about the quality of their work and the safety of the vehicles they send out into the world. I m very thankful for the efficiency and customer care so I could drive the 3 hours home safely!Service: Transmission

I took my 1980 AMC to Marc for a transmission rebuild. After, I drove it to Detroit for the AMO Nationals with no issues! Marc might want to know my car took Silver in the driver class! Thanks for making this possible!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Had my truck there for over a month to install a dipstick change the trans fluid and filters. Had to physically go there for any updates. The job was "done" when I got there. There was no paperwork done on my truck for who worked on it or what they did to it , so they shot off a price from the hip. Was charged for 10 quarts of fluid and yet when I got home and checked it was 6 quarts low... We will see how much damage it caused. I won't be back. Wasted hundreds of dollars.Also quoted me on my Chevy for an inspection told me I needed all 4 upper and lower ball joints. When I left I called them to see what the a arms where made of because the ball joints all differ in sizes depending on what there made of. They had no ide what they quoted me. They actually told me to get under it and look at it. How do they quote you over $1400 and they have no idea what parts they were going to order. Took the same vehicle to paulins and it passed with flying colors.Be aware do your homework or you may be taken on a ride.

The owner, Marc is absolutely so helpful and amazing. Such a positive and solar human. Last year I got recommended to go and get my 06 Dakota truck fixed there. Marc did such a great job and was so understanding, the truck is running just fine now. Long story short, my 09 Mazda Cx-7 started giving transmission problems and of course I brought it to Marc. I like this place. They do a very good job at reasonable prices. My first visit was for transmission repair. They found and repaied the problem that the dealership missed. My second visit was for general maintenance which they also do

These guys have been in business for a long time and there is a good reason why. Their work is first rate, I've never had to return to have any issue they fixed corrected. They have changed the rear differential and front wheel bearing in my son's car, replaced the transmission cooling lines in my daughter's car and done routine maintenance on my car.Marc goes out of his way to get the diagnosis right to prevent unnecessary work and charges.

Northeast Transmission is absolutely fabulous! They are great humans who are kind, knowledgeable and provide excellent service at an excellent price. They communicate well and are extremely easy to work with! Northeast Has fixed two (unrelated) issues on my vehicle. both times being under their quoted price, less expensive than other local shops all while delivering quality work. They even helped with little extras without adding extra labor costs. Fair! Would highly recommend this shop!!

Highly recommend this business! My wife and I were on vacation with our 3 small children when we ran into transmission problems. We had AAA tow to NorthEast Transmission. The next day I called to find out it was fixed and ready for pick up and the price was very reasonable! We could have easily been taken advantage of being out of state and needing a fix ASAP! We were highly pleased and recommend to anyone looking for a fair, affordable, reliable fix!

They were able to get my car running right again. It is an older car with over 200K so it needs a little extra TLC. They are very good at explaining what they found and what they recommend. Also the bill was less than the estimate.

Definitely a company that goes above and beyond!! Would highly recommend Marc and his crew!!After breaking down on Route 95 we hobbled into Northeast Transmission a little before 5Pm. Marc graciously greeted us and assured us he would have us back on the road the next morning. Marc then proceed to not only recommend lodging in the area but dropped us off for the night. As promised he called us first thing the next morning and upon completion of the repair came and picked us up. We were quite surprised yet pleased with the cost of the repair.Thank you Marc for your kindness and understanding of our situation! We wish you nothing but the best!The Marshalls

They had my truck for 6 weeks for a transmission leak. In 6 weeks I made 18 phone calls to them and only received one in return when they told me it was "done" (after they got tired of me calling everyday, wondering where the hell it was). They replaced the pan seal which I had already told them was not where the leak was coming from. The day I finally got it back it started leaking again and is now in the same condition as when they originally got it (undriveable). Also, mice had gotten in it and chewed stuff up, probably because it was sitting there for so long. I paid a lot of money and missed out on 6 weeks of driving time during the summer(it's an antique, only driven in the summer and fall) . They are sloppy and unprofessional and I wouldn't even trust them to try to fix their errors. This is a total hack shop. Might just go small claims on this one.Service: Transmission

I trust Northeast Transmission with my suv. I find them to be extremely honest and up front about any issues with my suv and the cost. They were extremely helpful in dealing with my insurance as well. Couldn't ask for better service.

What the Heck is a Transmission anyway? No Clue but thank Goodness Northeast Transmission does and they are Rock/Car Stars! My Car Knowledge is like Zero, Less Than Zero even and Marc & Matt at Northeast Transmission are All-Things-Transmissions-Rocket-Scientists. Once again, Life is a SEINFELD Episode. Here's an important Life Lesson from George Costanza."Well, of course your mechanic is trying to screw you. What do you think? That s what they do. They can make up anything. Nobody knows. By the way, you need a new Johnson rod in there. Oh, a Johnson rod. Yeah, well, you better put one of those on. Like George, I am Clueless whether I really do need a Johnson Rod or not.The Guys at Northeast are Real Pros and more Honest than George Washington Confessing to Chopping Down The Cherry Tree. That's Honesty and Integrity. Good People doing Great Work at a Fair Price.Thanks, Marc & Matt. And Thank You too for not installing the infamous Johnson Rod. NE Transmission RUINED my transmission. They are the only mechanics that had worked on my 2012 Audi A4 6 speed. This vehicle does not even have 100K miles on it and I had purchased it from the Audi Dealership in Phoenix with only 10K miles. NE transmission replaced the clutch incorrectly. Suspicious I took it to VW (closer to me than the Audi dealership) and they discovered it had been disassembled incorrectly & will cost me over $5800 to repair. See attached estimate from VW Prime. I did reach out to NE Transmission and of course they argued instead of trying to do the right thing. Smh.
