I had a great experience. My car had a parasitic drain that my go-to mechanic couldn't figure out so I brought it to Jason's based on the google reviews. They were able to diagnose the problem and in addition notified me of all the other issues my car had. I had everything fixed at a reasonable price. Jason's also provided a loaner car to drive for a couple days. It wasn't the greatest car but it was free and beggars can't be choosers. I will use them for my future car needs.

Edited to add: Jason's Auto Service responded below and assured me after seeing this post they would reach out and address the issue. They have not done so. They also promised several times throughout the course of this transaction that I would receive a response from he owner, and I never did.I started using Jason's Auto Service in June 2022, and had some really solid experiences with them in the beginning. After my last visit, I will not be returning, and would recommend anyone find alternative service for their vehicle.We brought our vehicle in to troubleshoot our cruise control not working, along with a general inspection prior to taking a cross country trip. Despite moving out of Biddeford, I still chose to drive 45 minutes each way because I trusted Jason from my previous experiences. They quoted me around $900 for the repair, which primarily seemed to target a secondary issue but they assured me they thought it would resolve the Cruise Control. Fast forward a week, I picked up the car and the total charge was over $1300. After driving the car for a couple weeks, we took a trip out of town, which was the first time using cruise control and found it was not working. After calling the shop, they admitted nobody had tested the car to make sure the repair worked prior to charging me and returning my vehicle. We spent a month trying to coordinate bringing it back in and having the problem resolved prior to my cross country trip, and they were not able to offer a satisfactory solution. After another two days of having it, they determined they'd have to re-diagnose it and try something else, but offered me not return on the increase in cost and their neglect in actually testing out their repairs. In the end, Jason routinely ignored my emails and messages, including when I spoke with the front of house Cheyenne directly and she reassured me Jason would return my call. This is not the standard of service I expect from a trusted local business, and I would not ever do business with them again.

Great stuff! Very professional, courteous, and communicative staff. The work that was done was done promptly, and the invoice thoroughly represented everything I was charged for, and the prices were fair. If you want good work from am honest mechanic, I can't recommend these folks enough!

Jason did a great job of finding tires at a great price for my unique tire size! He was able to get me scheduled within the week! While waiting for the service to be completed I was able to sit in a nice clean waiting room with wifi. I only had to wait about an hour which was surprisingly quick! Will be coming back for future repairs, Thank you Jason and Crew!!Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance

I discovered Jason s Auto in Biddeford when I desperately needed work asap on my car. They got me an appointment very fast and did a full inspection diagnostic where they included pictures, clear descriptions, and cost for the work for each project including labor. This helped me budget, plan, and prioritize! They did a new exhaust system and the car is running beautifully. I then came back for the serpentine belt and it s now driving better than ever. Highly recommend Jason s. The customer service is excellent, prices are fair, and they were able to schedule me in so fast I was super impressed. They are now my go to mechanic!

I don t normally write reviews for places and I usually go someplace quick & easy for a job like this, but I called this location to see if they could fit me in for a last minute synthetic oil change and not only was the staff extremely friendly and helpful but the garage was very fast and efficient too!Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the woman at the front desk (jasmyn), she was very friendly and helpful! While I was waiting in the lobby for my car to be finished, I noticed how clean the lobby was!The mechanic Patrick was great! He topped off all my fluids , checked my tires and did a quick courtesy inspection.This garage was also a lot cheaper than other places I ve gone to previously in that area. I ve always avoided going to an auto garage vs going to a quick stop because of the price and waits but I m glad I ended up coming here. It was cheaper and quicker than other places I ve gone to in the past.Overall, I was extremely pleased with the customer service from not only Jasmyn, but the mechanic Patrick as well! I will definitely be recommending this garage to my friends and family!

Been going there for almost 5 years, gotten 5 cars serviced there for multiple things. Regular maintenance and otherwise. Best service I ve experienced from a shop ever, coupled with great communication and a wicked fast turnaround. I moved outta Biddeford two years ago and I still bring my cars back whenever I have a issue. Make the call, you definitely won t be disappointed.

Js Auto knocked it out of the park. Recently I have had to reach out with almost no notice. J was able to accommodate me each time. They have loaners which was instrumental for me getting to work. They corrected the issues (crank sensor and brake vacuum) super fast. Cheyenne in the office was super transparent with pricing and kept in communication. Thanks guys, will recommend, will be back!!!

Brought my f150 there to get an oil pan gasket replaced and the service was top notch. The people in the office are very nice and helpful. Even the owner came out and explained certain things to me. Definitely will be back for all my car needs.

Have had work performed there for a couple of years. Top quality work, fair pricing. They are very picky. If you go there for state inspection, they are very thorough! I know exactly the condition of my vehicle. My son in law introduced me to them. I m going to start bringing my Honda CRV there. I caught the local Honda Dealership almost charge me an additional $200 !!! Good thing that I spoke up.

I've been using these guys for tires and alignments for a few years. I made an appointment was told 1.5 hour wait for mounting 4 tires and aligning the truck. I sat there from 9 am to around 3:30pm. Not once did the girls behind the desk give me an update on the reason for the extended wait time.The real slap in the face was when someone else came in with no appointment for an alignment. He flirted with the girls behind the desk a bit. Sat down for about 30 seconds. And asked how long it was going to be. She immediately offered him a loaner vehicle to go get something to eat and told the guy she would call when his vehicle was ready. Here I am, been sitting for over 6 hours. They couldn't even give me an update, I would have just walked some where to get something to eat.I'm not complaining about the longer wait time. I own a business and know sometimes not everything works out. Workers don't show up, or a job takes longer than expected. But to leave me sitting there with no update, then to offer a loaner vehicle to someone who just arrived was a slap in the face. I guess because I wasn't flirty with the girls I didn't qualify for the loaner?

Jason s was great to work with! They let me know the price of the work before they started doing anything. And when some issues arose, they were quick to help me get my car towed to their shop to get said issues resolved. Thanks so much for all you do!

Just had my car inspected this morning before writing this review. Service was smooth and I was only waiting for a little bit longer than 20-25 minutes, simply because it was a busy morning. (And my car had just changed registered states, so first time inspection for Maine) Definitely worth getting it checked here though. Professional staff.

Recently I went back to Jason s for a misfire on my BMW. I had been here before and had a good experience, however this last time I left feeling very unsatisfied. Not only did they over charge me compared to other auto places, but my check engine light turned back on a week later. I went to a different auto place to find out they did not install the parts properly/forgot to put some things back in the right place. I will not be returning here unfortunately.I m giving it three stars because the lady up front was incredibly sweet and they also do offer a loaner car while your car is being worked on which I thought is really cool.I d say for basic repairs this place is good, but for big jobs or especially if you have a foreign car I would not recommend this place.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

WHen I called for service, a young lady answer the phone very pleasantly, answered my questions and then was able to schedule an appointment for Monday, Jan 8. I called on Jan 4th. I had my truck towed and left at the shop on Thursday evening. To my surprise, I receive a text on Friday, the 5th, that the truck had been tested and the estimate was ready. I went to talk about the estimate and found my truck was all set. The Ladies I spoke with were exceptionally cordial and friendly. We discussed the estimate and I paid for the repair and computer testing. The repair was anew battery. Other items found are to be taken care of by me. I thank you again for the rapid repair and service. If I need any further work done on my truck, I will be returning to Jason's Auto Service and will recommand your service to whomever may ask me. Thank you again.

Went in to get my breaks done, was thankfully able to get the job done same day for 1200$+. Now back with my hometown mechanic i m informed both bleed caps were left off (this could result in a malfunction due to dirt buildup and failure). And there is missing bolt! did it break off because it was tightened too much? Was it just because they only use cheap parts? I have so many questions.Update: was told i would receive a check for compensation, never did. Since then the replacement caliper has failed causing more issues i now need to address. overall DON T BRING YOUR CAR HERE, they do poor quality work with poor quality parts and charge exuberant prices.

Jason's auto was amazing they worked with me on every detail of what needed to be done. That would be for next year's sticker which I wasn't expecting but was great to know for next Sticker. Then gave me in detail with photos of important things that needed to be addressed now. The service I received was very professional and they did exactly what they said and when it would be done. Thank you all at Jason's auto I would highly recommend them.

They tried to charge me $600 to replace my windshield wiper motor I definitely wasn t going to pay that much and found out my wiper just needed to be tightened. They also did a courtesy inspection that I wasn t notified of beforehand. I m sure that took up most of the hour it took them to diagnose my wiper problem Ended up paying $150 just for them to basically lie to me. If money s not an issue and you need the job done quickly I guess they re the mechanic for you!

Did work that was not requested 4 new tires and more and as photo shows didn't connect wires back up which caused weather corrode which caused the extended wall to not operate very disappointed had to take to ford dealer because jasons does work not asked to the mechanic doesn't finish his job brake pedal not put back on as manual suggest take to a ford dealer someone knows what they are doing definitely suggest not to bring your camper to jasonsServices: Electrical repair, Tires

ABSOLUTELY TOTAL FRUADS DONT GO HERE Went in for a basic safety inspection and upon going a woman s car wouldn t start after there service and they left my engine cover off and I had to take time to go back and retrieve my cars cover and it took over an hour and a half for a basic safety inspection thanks for nothing .

My husband and I had them look over a truck we were about to buy down there. We're not from the area and were ready to buy the truck, had transit plates ready to go and everything but we had them look it over since they were close by. THANK GOODNESS WE DID!!!! There was so much wrong with it. They saved us thousands of dollars by doing such a good job looking it over. There are so many dishonest people now it's terrible, but Jason's Auto is honest and transparent. We are so thankful for them! The shop was clean and tidy as well. Highly recommend!

Awful dishonest mechanic. They tried to scam my Honda accord. I broke down on the freeway on the way back to boston with an engine misfire. They told me that I would have to replace the entire engine costs upwards of 10k. Decided to get the car towed back to MA and it only needed a spark plug. Do not come here.

There are just not enough good things to say about our experience with Jason s. First these guys are honest. To support that once they inspected the vehicle they sent a complete report with photo s showing what was going on. I have done a lot of my own repairs so this was very helpful in knowing what they wanted to do was actually needed. Same was true with their estimate which was fully itemized.Our repairs took 2 days as they offered a free loaner vehicle as well.Very professional and frequent updates on their progress via text.

I stopped by without an appointment because I had a screw in the tread of my tire. Melissa at the desk was so friendly and helpful. She said they would take out the screw and put in a plug. 20 minutes later it was done. I asked how much and she told me no charge, have a great day. What a nice, surprising experience this was. The sign says "Looking for an honest auto repair shop - you found it" and my experience was that this is 100% accurate! I will be coming back here.Service: Tires
