Very few dealers are mechanics, and even fewer also live and breathe their product they way Karla does. As a passerby, I witnessed her vehicles flying off the lot and it intrigued me, so I went to try one out. While I was there I couldn't help but notice Karla drives her own product exclusively. A blue xc70 was sitting in her yard with 280,000 miles on it. After I left, the red xc70 I drove sold within hours of my test drive. So I went back again. This time I was prepared to get a better jump on the situation. When I arrived, Karla had my future car on the lift and showed me everything up close from sway bars and bushings to fog lights and heated seats with stunning clarity, and encyclopedic knowledge. I scoured the surface of the frame and body for rust, but couldn't find anything. The car was from Vermont where snow, sand and salt is just as abusive on cars as it is here.After I bought the car, I started noticing Mid Coast Motors stickers everywhere. That's when I realized this small company is much more than just a purveyor of safe, high quality used cars. Mid Coast Motors is a service that is helping local people effectively maneuver the harsh winters of Maine with more money in their wallets. For that reason, there is no mystery why Karla has so many return buyers. Mid Coast Motors is what I consider analogous to a good fishing spot. You want to tell everyone on the street about it, but you also want to be able catch your next prized fish there. I want you all to have one too, but please leave another xc for me!

Karla is fantastic. My wife and I were so psyched to find her little gem of a car place in Belfast. We bought a 2006 volvo from her over a year ago for a wicked deal, and it has been a joy to own. First fully loaded vehicle we've ever been able to afford! She's knowledgeable, personable, reliable, and super helpful in follow-up questions we've had for her. The only catch is being lucky enough to snag one of her used volvos before someone else does, they go quick! But she's good about keeping you in the loop if you inquire. These cars are well-vetted, and super well-priced, you won't be disappointed.

I was looking for a vehicle and saw Karla's reviews and went to her webpage. She contacted me and did not have any cars available but she listened to my needs and suggested the car she felt would fit our needs as well as gave me advice on what to look for. We found the car she suggested and love it. If I needed a car again I would buy from her. She took the time to help us out and didn't even make a sale.
