I can't say enough about this business. Their knowledge, thoroughness, professionalism, courtesy and caring are THE BEST!!! Everyone there is friendly and helpful.Special Kudos for Meg who won the NAPA ASE Automotive Technician of the year twice, as well as Sara, the Service Advisor ,whom I talked to directly.And a BIG Round of Applause for the owner , for hiring all the great people at B. J. Automotive!

BJ's Automotive is always reliable. If something goes wrong after they fix it, they will look at it again. The best thing about them is that they are honest. They do not try to get you to pay for more than you need. They are very friendly and helpful. They provided assistance so I could get the best deal to hook up a trailer hitch to my car.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

BJ's automotive is by far the best auto shop I've been to. Joel, Dave and Meg are extremely thorough, straight forward, and fair. They are really good at what they do and actually talk to you about that's going on with your car. They worked with me and my partner to make sure we knew everything that was wrong with our car before they proceeded with work. No surprises-- highly, highly recommend this shop!

While driving home to Massachusetts from Blue Hill my car developed an alarming wobble that soon rendered the car un-roadworthy. Another shop in town did their best but only made the problem worse. BJ s team totally saved the day! They were extraordinarily professional, communicative and beyond competent in diagnosing a challenging problem and providing an effective solution - all in a very timely manner and at a reasonable cost. I cannot recommend them more highly.

BJ's Automotive was my go to place for years when I lived in Maine. They always did a great job for a fair price. I love the staff there and have never had any issues. I brought my car in a couple of weeks ago before I moved back to New Hampshire to get some brake and exhaust work. Once I got back to New Hampshire I noticed that my car still had a slightly louder sound than normal so I emailed the shop. Dave replied first thing when they opened and told me he would find a mechanic in my area to get it checked out just in case and that BJ's would cover any charge associated with the visit. That to me is great service and really above and beyond. I am going to miss these guys for sure.

I am working in Maine, and I live out of state, my car broke down and I went here to get reapir work done. They were amazing! When I returned to pick up car, they were friendly, understanding and informative. They showed me the bad part, the damage, and explained in detailed fashion about the repair and function to my car. It was understanding and not complex at all...very happy and recommend to anyone!!My parts are warranted and if anything happens in any state, I just call them and they will get me to a mechanic where I am and take care of the warranty. Isn't that great and informative.....Happy happy Happy....

BJ's is my go to mechanic. I live in Brooks and work in Hampden and I make the trip to Belfast to get the best service. The mechanics here know their cars, have great customer service, and will never take advantage. If they make a mistake they will own it and fix right away. They always make sure to explain any car problems with as much detail as you need, including using pictures (for us visual learners). Highly recommended this place! Thank you for your service!

After having a bad experience at Darlings Ford, I was desperate to get my truck fixed. I couldn't get to work or afford to take time off while my truck was being serviced. So, by the luck of the draw, I chose BJ Diagnostics. Within hours (probably minutes) they were able to do what the Ford dealership could not, they solved an ongoing issue and my truck was ready to be picked up. The amazing part? The total for testing, parts, and the work was less than a third of what I was charged at Darlings Ford a week before. Most importantly to me, they did a great job explaining the issue in depth and in layman's terms that I could easily understand. Being prior Law Enforcement and currently enlisted in the Military, integrity is everything to me. If you want an honest, efficient and friendly mechanic....go to BJ's Diagnostic.

I'm glad I found a shop that I know is both trustworthy (important to me as a woman) and highly competent. It's hard to find good mechanics. And Dave is great! I'm quite certain you'll have the same experience.

Fantastic auto service center. You will get a detailed assessment of any issues they find along with an estimate to fix. No surprise bills here and the work is always completed right the first time!
