Mike and all employees were super friendly and the atmosphere of the shop was very welcoming. I really appreciate the calm and friendly environment when waiting at a car shop for repairs or maintenanceWe got our car taken care of in a timely manner, and updates were provided throughout our time there.

One of the staff members was really busy but he was able to flex his time to quickly check my tires out to make sure there was no nail in one of the tires. Excellent service member!

I always use Firestone for my vehicle maintenance. Reason being that if something is wrong they let you know. I would rather bring my vehicle somewhere like this that could potentially extend the life and increase the safety of my vehicles than a 15 minute oil change. I trust the quality of their work and they are always quick and polite.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in & DJ walked out to my car & showed me I needed tires & wiper blades too, even told me about a Rebate on 4 tires. He also said I was getting close to needing a brake tag too. Love this guy. He made my experience 5 stars !

I've been a customer of this location for over a decade. Great people, great service, and they are always honest. The customer service here is top-notch. I highly recommend this shop for any vehicle maintenance, tires, and oil changes.

Woke up this morning with a flat tire. Went here for 7am, which is when they open. They took me in right away and advised that I needed a new tire, which I kinda thought it would. I was out the door within 40 minutes. Got quick service with a fair price. I have been here before and they do not try and up sell you stuff. Good job!

Honesty is important with car mechanics. Most people don't know enough about their machine to know if they are being ripped off. Since oil changes are the most common reason to visit a mechanic, I place high value on good service for oil changes. While this Firestone location does good work, credit where credit is due, they are not always the most honest (which may vary between employees, I can't say).I have had two synthetic blend oil changes at this location. The first was just fine... took an hour, slapped a sticker on it that said to change my oil in 6,000 more miles (which is pretty reasonable), and away I went.The second was an identical oil change for the same vehicle. This time they put a sticker on it that said to change the oil in 3,000 miles. I called back to confirm they used the correct oil I requested which they did; they said they always recommend changes at 3,000 miles (which is extremely low for vehicles running anything synthetic).I'm not sure why this inconsistency happened, but it does not create trust. I know companies will do what is in their best interest for the money, but that is pushing it.

My husband and I have been using Cross Gates Firestone for the last three years and have consistently had an amazing experience each time. They don't nickel and dime us and are very honest about the cost of their services and what our options are. We have never felt as though they were trying to squeeze money out of us and they have always successfully diagnosed and repaired issues with our cars. When I go without my husband, they do not talk down to me or assume I'm less knowledgable because I'm a woman. Last summer the splash shield beneath my car was broken and they secured it back in place within 5 minutes and did not charge me anything. I am extremely impressed with the high quality customer service here, it is evident that the employees care about their customers and we are happy to keep coming back for the foreseeable future.

This particular Firestone has got to be the best Firestone I have ever taken my vehicles to for an oil change and new tires. The guys working here are the best, and they are very friendly. I have been taking my vehicles to them for over 9 years. They are pretty quick with the repairs and I usually do not wait for more than an hour when I do sit and wait for my car being repaired. They have always been honest with me, and their prices are very reasonable. I have had several occasions where I thought I needed new tires, and after checking my tires they told me that I didn t need to purchase them yet, that I still had about 6 more months of wear on them. That is what I like about them, they don t try and sell you something you don t need.

I love Crossgates Firestone. They are friendly, customer service orientated and do a great job. They have always been there when i have a bad battery, need tires, etc. I trust them and see why they are so busy. Give them a try... they are awesome

Took my suburban in to check wheel baerings and A/c .They worked on a/c afew months pryior .Was told that wasnt the same compressor they worked on before. When told it is the some one .was made to feel i was lieing. They couldnt ot wouldntfix a/c .Very disappointed and will take my business elsewhere.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic shop, look no further! We no longer go anywhere else for oil changes, tire repair, or any other problems. These guys have gained our trust and we tell everyone we know to come here. They are honest and never try to upsell you on something that you know other shops would try to. Thanks for always being great and taking care of us!

Tina and Greg( I think his namee was greg) very professional , knowledgeable , Understanding, honest, Courteous .as soon as the vehicle was hoisted they showed me what needed to be done. No upchanging or trying to get me to get unnecessary parts . Just good Ole fashion honesty.

Normally I do not do reviews, but they deserve one. I visited firestone today after Goodyear told me that there was nothing they could do to help me. My tire was going flat and there was a hole on the outside of the tire, so it needed to be replaced. Goodyear didn t have any tires my size and said that if they ordered one, it could take a while and my tire wouldn t last that long. Instead of maybe helping me put the spare on for my safety, they aired it up and wished me luck.. Firestone took care of me and were so quick and nice about it all. They even directed me to a better deal on a tire. They made sure I would be able to get back to work safely. They will get my business here on out. Thank y all!

Brought in my vehicle for some issues I had noticed. Everyone was super nice and customer service was great, at first. It needed to be because the workmanship you will receive is terrible. None of the issues nor the concerns I brought my vehicle in for were addressed. Thought my CV axel assembly was busted. That was overlooked. Had an issue with an oil light. They assured me they fixed it. After a little over 1000 dollars of an unnecessary brake job and more frustration that you can imagine, I'm left with a car with breaks that started squeaking the next day and an awful alignment. They warranty their work, but why do I want incompetent people to work on my vehicle. I think these people make it by praying on the less intelligent and manipulating the elderly. I wouldn't even let them change the oil in any of my vehicles. There is not one single person that would pass for a technician much less than a proper mechanic. Trash

Once again these folks have saved me! The best service, the best price, the best brothers on the planet. And they stand behind their work! It s the ONLY place I ll take my vehicles in Slidell!!! Thank you Harry, John, and the whole crew! The brakes are next! Saving up, and y all have the job... of course. And thank y all, also, for saving my son s 88 Honda Civic as well!! You folks are magic!

Noticed today my inspection sticker was expired. Went in without appointment and they took care of me right away. In less than 10 minutes I had a new sticker and was on my way. The staff is friendly and seems knowledgeable.

Passing through from Florida and noticed a nail in the tire. John and the crew helped us figure out the issue and got us back on the road in no time at all. Even made some good restaurant suggestions for NOLA. Highly recommend this business to take care of your tire needs.

I am new to town. I needed a tune-up on my Jeep Wrangler and a tire rotation, oil change, etc. I called Crossgates Firestone on Wednesday evening, July 22 to see if they could work on my vehicle on Friday, July 24 as I had that day off work. I spoke with someone named Andrew, I believe. He asked if I could drop it off and I said no, that I am alone here and had no way to get home so I would have to wait for it. He said it would be a couple of hours to wait, to which I agreed. When I arrived Friday morning prepared to wait there for the work to be done, I was told that there was no way I could wait as "it would be hours before they could even get to my vehicle." I stated that I had called a couple of days earlier to make an appointment and was told bluntly "We don't take appointments here." That would have been nice to know before I planned my day around getting my vehicle serviced. I left, and will not go back there.

I've been a customer of Greg's for over 25 years. I was thrilled when I found out they were opening up a shop at this address. Very convenient for me. The service Cross Gates Firestone provides is top notch, every time I go there. D.J. has gone above and beyond the call of duty for me numerous times ( staying late, coming in early etc...) always willing to help with my crazy schedule. These are the kind of things that keep a loyal customer coming back for 25 yrs plus. Keep up the good work & thanks!

Been using this Firestone since they opened and have had nothing but excellent service. I trust my cars in their very capable hands and have not been let down. The staff is friendly and personable and very accommodating of my particular needs. I highly recommend this store,.

Best Auto Repair in SlidellThis is the best place to take your car in Slidell. These people are honest and good at what they do. They have proven themselves over and over to me by only doing what needed and at not over charging, Their work is excellent. I am thankful to have such a reliable and honest place to take my car.

I went to this location this a.m . because my check engine light came on.I really do appreciate their honesty.I was waiting for diagnostic test but they brought a machine out to car & told me it was just my gas..He tightened the gas cap and removed the light without charging me.He told me that if it comes back on just come back and will look deeper into problem..also let me know it shouldn't leave me.I recommend this place because friendly staff but most importantly they're HONESTY..that's hard to find these days so if your car needs something done go to Firestone on Military Rd.

I took my F-150 in with the engine light on. They made the repairs and the light came back on the next day. I called an spoke with DJ and he had me bring it back two times at no cost. The tech was unable to determine the issue and my family had to leave for vacation in Georgia. While in Georgia the truck totally died and had to be towed to a dealership. Due to a simple mistake my wiring harness was destroyed. I called DJ and explained the situation and he told me "no problem" He would take care of it. I was not a regular customer or even from Slidell and I assumed I would never see a dime. When I returned to Slidell to my surprise DJ stayed true to his word, he took care of my expenses and gave me a free oil change. These guys are a rare find in today's world-Stand behind their Work and stay True to their Word! Thanks DJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In this business, integrity is what counts. DJ and his team, in all sense of words 'do right by the customer', no matter what...and they always stand by their work.
