Walked into the Advance on Johnston St and was immediately greeted by a young lady by the name of Nila. This young lady has very good customer skills, and helped me out to the fullest. Great job Nila.

I came here this morning to buy some car freshener to hang on the rear view mirror. The cashier, Mr. Gerald, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will come back if I'm ever on the South Side of town and I need something for my vehicle.

I went to get my battery checked and replaced. They were able to lookup whether i have warranty or not using my phone number and turns out i had few months left. So a gentleman helped and educated me patiently about questions i had regarding battery and corrosion and fitted the new battery free of cost. I enjoyed their customer service and would recommend them.

Staff is clueless. I needed a battery for my ATV. After checking the battery shelf and not seeing what I needed, I proceeded to the counter. The clerk looked at my old stock battery and said we don t sell that brand. They couldn t figure out how to convert the battery size from the type I had to the ones they sold. After I looked up the battery I needed online myself, I showed her what I needed. She enters the parts number and said they didn t have it nor did she know how to order it. Clerk then just walked away.The time before this I was getting brakes for a vehicle. When I opted for the cheaper set, the clerk tried to pressure me into the most expensive set, claiming he wouldn t trust his life with the lower prices set.They have lost my business forever and anyone who asks me will get a referral to another business.

Ive been dealing with these guys for years and yesterday i bought some brake pads and today i jacked up my car and pulled both tires off and took the calliper off on one side and discovered they gave me the wrong parts.im only down the road from them and explained my car was apart and had no way to get there and even though it was their screw mark the manager said he couldnt do nothing about it

My wife went to AAP on 100 Inez Lane in front of Walmart on Ambassador for a cabin filter for her equinox. I had given her the exact part number and told her to go to AAP because I didn t think Walmart would give her the correct part. Well a young lady at Advance Auto named Ali L can t read part numbers and probably should be working at Walmart instead of Advance Auto.

Corporate truly needs to give this location more hours and coverage! The employees are awesome and extremely helpful.....just not enough to cover the traffic....

Advance Auto parts is very clean store and they are very helpful. If they have to order your part it usually arrives within 24 hrs.
