My car broke down outside of Lafayette during the Sunday following Thanksgiving holidays and Chad s Mobile Auto Mechanics was a lifesaver for getting me back on the road while all other local tow trucks and mechanics were closed. He was reasonably priced, responsive, professional, and efficient. Once I contacted him, he arrived within the hour and I was on the road again in another hour. I had no other issues during the drive home after his repairs. He replaced the serpentine belt, water pump, and coolant in my 2012 Nissan Altima. I would recommend his services.

DO NOT AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET THIS GUY TO DO ANY TYPE OF WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE UNLESS HE S PUTTING AIR IN YOUR TIRE I GOT HIM TO REBUILD ENGINE AND HE DID THE WORST JOB EVER IM HAVING TO SPEND A ANOTHER $6000 GOT MY TRUCK BACK FROM HIM NOT PUTTING PARTS BACK ON RIGHT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE LEGIT AND WASNT WAS STILL LEAKING OIL FROM SEALS AND THAT RESULTED IN THE SITUATION IM IN NOW HAVING TO REBUILD IT ALL OVER AGAIN BUT THE RIGHT WAY IF YOU WANT A GREAT MECHANIC GET WITH RYANS PERFORMANCE IN LAKE CHARLES THIS GUY HAS COSTED ME AND MY FAMILY THOUSANDS AND I WANNA SEE WHAT EXCUSE HE CAN SAY ABOUT THIS REVIEW HE HAS NO ROOM ON THIS ONE PLEASE GUYS DONT LET HIM FIX ANYTHING ON YOUR VEHICLE IT WILL BE RIGHT BACK TO HIM TO GET MORE MONEY BUT TAKE IT ELSE WHERE IF YOUR GUYS HAVE A PROBLEM AFTER HE WORKS ON IT

Chad came out to our home today to work on a vehicle. Worked until 7 p.m. when the job was completed! Excellent service! We highly recommend Chad for all your car repair needs!!! Changed out hoses & some wiring.

He seemed very skilled and knowledgeable at what he does. He got the job completed fast and went out of his way upon completion to make sure my car was secure where it was broke down at. Beware!!! This mechanic here will deceived his customers charge you out rages prices. $600.00 to change an alternator come on man. I been to many dealerships and mechanic shops that charge a flat diagnostic fee to see what's wrong with your car. This hack of mechanic claim he spent over 8 hours on my car. Just to change my alternator, which my car still was in the same condition as I brought it. The first alternator wasn' t even the right one, he recommened for me to purchase and still charge me for something thats totally not the customer fault.I could have change that alternator myself, but just trying to be considerate. I will never do business with this hack of a mechanic ever again. For everyone that's reading this review. I beg of you to find a reputable place to have your vehicle service and work on. PS. It's not the car computer that was glitchy or broken. It was a simple dirty mass air flow sensor that needed cleaning. If you weren't to busy trying to collect and rip off customers ringing my damn phone off the hook. Using a simple scanned tool would have told you what was wrong with my vechle, before returning a vehicle in not perfect running condition just to collect an outrages fee that I know and you know was completely taking advantage of someone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HACK. I WILL NOT BE REFERING NO ONE TO YOU......

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! My friend went to him to see about getting a fuel pump changed, she already knew what the problem was with her car. He wanted to charge $600 for labor and when she refused his service for that price he held her car hostage until she gave him $100 and then forgot to close the hood of the car all the way. Her hood flew up while she was on the highway and cracked her windshield and cause about $10k in damages to the body of the car. HE IS VERY MUCH A SCAMMER

This guy came out to my house at 6 PM within a 15 minute notice to change my radiator for the same (or better) price as bringing it into my mechanic. Great service, great guy, absolutely recommend.

I ve personally never had a good experience here. I find that they upcharge especially if you re a young female. I ve also gotten more damage to my car after bringing it here than what I originally showed up with. I really don t recommend anyone bring their vehicles here especially if you re a young female it ll do nothing but waste your time, run up a bigger bill, and cause more damage to your vehicle.

Car was running hot , gave this guy a call showed up in a couple hours . Found out what the issue was in a matter of minutes . Took care of me efficiently and explained to me what the problem was and pointed out some other things I may look for . Even checked out my gf car for a coolant leak before he left . Saved me a few hundreds of dollars . Appreciate ya man .

Highly recommend giving them a call. Chad s mobile repair saved my Christmas! No need to shop further for a mechanic. He came out same day that I called him. Diagnosed and replaced my starter for a very reasonable rate. Saved me the towing fee and the inconvenience of going to a shop.And he explained everything to me which I have never had a mechanic do.Highly recommend this guy!!Service: Accessory & electronic installations

We were stranded in our road trip home from Texas to Florida. Our car wouldn t start at a gas station, and we called every mechanic in the area but no one was open on a Sunday. Chad saved the day, and he saved us from having to spend an extra night in a hotel. He was quick and knowledgeable and very nice. He got us back on the road in no time..we re so relieved and grateful!

Chad is very experienced in his field of work. I found him through Facebook. I am DIY kind of guy. I ran into the issue with changing the starter on my 06 IS 250. I hired another local guy trying to save a dollar. The moment I got on the phone with Chad he hit me with some well rounded information about my problem and suggestion on how one could get it out. A full 24 hours later with the failure of the first mechanic I hired which he did try! I was able to contact Chad a second time and he was more than willing to come out and fix the issue. I ve had 3 separate mechanics take a crack at it. Without his knowledge of the car. I m sure I would be at Lexus paying 700$ or more. For such a simple starter replacement. I highly recommend him to those who have issue a little beyond just any mechanic running around now a days taking our money.Service: Electrical

I paid this clown 10,000 dollars to rebuild my motor on my Nissan Cummins motor. After every excuse in the book on why my truck was not ready he had my truck from feb 25th until very end of July. When he came to get my truck he said it would b a 2 week job. Then parts were on back order and I understand that so a couple more weeks. Ok cool. But almost 6 months? I have spent over another 10,000 on car rentals at 350-400 a week. Was renting cars based on when he would answer or call back. And his favorite thing to say is ONE MORE WEEK! I heard that so many times in text in 5 months. Not being from that area he told me he had a shop and would b doing the work there. And as u can see, nope! My truck was parked in his yard and my motor was under a tarp tore apart on a motor stand. After this I wouldn t let him put oil on my bicycle chain!Service: Engine repair

Hello good people......I know I'm late with this post, but I had to say from being a mechanic myself it was great to share thoughts and get input on a situation I was having! After troubleshooting a 2017 Nissan pathfinder crank no start problem and changing a couple of things that seemed to be the cause, still finding that that problem still exists. I felt it was time to get a little more insight of what the problem may be. So, by randomly selecting Chad's mobile auto mechanics, LLC I found it to be the best call I could have ever made that day!!! Although an hour away and attending his son's game, this fella still took the time to help me figure out what was causing the vehicle to not run. I must say I'm truly grateful and thankful I made that call.With that being said, I tell you I highly recommend you giving this fella a call if you have any questions, or whatever repairs you may need for your vehicle. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHAD! We broke down on I-10 at 5o clock on a Friday evening traveling from Texas to Thibodaux, Louisiana. Chad was the ONLY repair shop that we called who was willing to help us out and he was able to recommend a tow service also. Chad got my husband s truck fixed the following day. Chad has had my truck for 8 months and still has not completed the work on my truck. I have talked with Chad numerous times and he refuses to tell me when he will be completed at this time I am having to use a lawyer to get my truck back completed or not. Chad was paid in full but I recently had to use PayPal to dispute the money paid to him which I was awarded 75% of the money I paid back. Chad may be a good mechanic but his lack of consideration for his customers is why I would not suggest using his service. I have no problems paying for a completed job. I am now taking Chad to court.DO NOT LET THIS MAN WORK ON ANYTHING!!!!!!!Service: Engine repair

Chad came out with an hour of calling to a school parking lot were the starter on my Honda Pilot. Within 45 minutes he had the starter replaced and my vehicle was up and running!!!! Chad called my place of business for a referral and was very rude to the receptionist after our company policies were explained to him. I would definitely not recommend someone who carries their self this way.

For any serious, mechanical issue.. DO NOT use these services. Im in agreement with all of his not so recent clients. Read reviews from months ago, not just days ago. He will say he ll have your car for a certain date or time then EXTEND that time last minute. If he s in a rush(which I m guessing is pretty often) he ll say he took time out to do certain things,but he hasn t.He s serviced my car twice and everytime I ve gotten it back, it sounds louder than before. He s not good at what he does. Keep your money. You ll literally be throwing it DOWN THE DRAIN.This isn t someone who s certified and for sure takes advantage of customers that are less knowledgeable than him & inconsiderate regarding time management. HE HAD MY VEHICLE WAY TOO LONG.Even if he s the only guy available, wait for a more seasoned,trustworthy mechanic to return your call. You will save yourself plenty money that way.I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES.

We were in a real bind as we passed through Lafayette on Memorial Day weekend. Our power steering pump went out half way between home and our destination. I called Chad at 9:30 Sunday night from the motel that we limped into and were forced to stay for the night. I really did not expect to do more than leave a message but instead, Chad answered the phone. He came to help us the next day as promised and replaced the pump in the parking lot of the motel. He did it in a very reasonable amount of time and at a fair price. We were very grateful that he offered this service and he did a great job getting us on the road again. We were able to complete our trip as planned. Thanks Chad!

Chad is an awesome mechanic I would highly recommend him to all box truck owners that go over the road. We had a fan lock up and caused a bunch of damage. Since we are not from the area and it was late I knew how this would turn out. However, to my surprise we were blessed to find Chad. Chad gave us an awesome price but moreover stayed up until 3am to get the job done. He has my business from now on. Very honorable and respectful young man!

He was very thorough about what he was doing and why he was doing it. Very nice, friendly, and respectful. Excellent pricing for the situation. He came out around 6 pm to sight and fixed the jeep on location. I will use his services again when needed. Strongly recommend, On another note a few months later I called for him to come check on a car and he said he was going to come the next day and would not answer the phone or return call

Had a spark plug blow out of the head on my truck while in Broussard for the weekend. Had to return to Houston , with a rental, so I called Chad on Monday. He answered and was very helpful knowing what I was dealing with. He got the parts and had it going quickly. Payment was quick and easy even over the phone. This review is a little bit delayed, but I wanted to make sure I got my review of Chad and his work out there. Chad helped me out when I found my self in an urgent, tight spot. It was even more appreciated because my car wouldn't start the night before I started a new job, and no one is open on Sunday nights. Except Chad that is. I had my car towed to his place through my insurance company and Chad had to put some work into finding out what was wrong with my car. But he didn't let me down. My car is running like a champ again. Courteous, hard working, and top quality work. Chad definitely has a repeat customer in me.

Great young man. Chad picked up my wife s car today on a car hauler. Repaired the vehicle and delivered it to my house the same afternoon. Had his wife follow him to my house with his children in the truck. Completely satisfied with the service and pleasantly surprised to see that someone would be so eager to please his first time customer. Will use Chad again. Good job
