Although Ed is kind and he is quick, he admitted to not charging my a/c system with the machine. He also admitted to not replacing the orifice tube when replacing my a/c compressor, which voids the warranty with whatever shop he bought the compressor from & so he took my ac from barely blowing warm air to blowing warm air at full blast. It s been 100 degrees all summer and I m still miserably hot in my own car. I trusted him to fix the issue and he let me down.

My dad and I were looking for a place to get my Ac fixed and came across Ed s and decided to give it a shot. When we pulled up Ed informed us it was his day off and when we offered to come back he said he would make an exception and checked my car out right then and there. He told us what was wrong with it and told us to come back the next business day and he would fix it. When we got there to get it fixed Ed immediately pulled it in to get to work. Recommend Ed s for the super great service and amazing work on your vehicle!

Ed is my neighbor for nearly 30 years and worked on nearly every vehicle my family and I have owned. Would recommend for whatever your needs are.

Ed was able to diagnose and repair my ac issues on my F150 that the ford dealership couldn t even figure out what was wrong. I took my truck two different times to the ford dealership , and my truck stayed there for several days each time and the dealership was unable to repair. If you want it done right, do yourself a favor and go to Ed s Automotive.

Great experience. I have a 1976 Corvette that required some troubleshooting but Ed figured it out and it's running better than ever. Ed is a great guy to work with, and he takes pride in his work. Highly recommended!

Took my truck in at 0930 for strange noise. Ed called me back at 1130 to tell me it was a front wheel bearing. He already had it replaced and ready for me to pick up. 2 hours and it was done. Outstanding job!

Ed's is a great place to take your vehicle. He is the only mechanic I trust in the area. I have always had my brother to work on my cars and then I relocated to Louisiana and knew I'd have to find a mechanic. My husband trusted Ed because he has been in business for years. We took our Chevy Traverse there and now it's the only place we take her! He does amazing and affordable work in a very timely and respectful manner.

Not a great experience, told him what was wrong with our AC in the car. He added freon and charged us $150 and said it didn t feel cold enough. He admitted that he didn t do a diagnostic scan on my car because he couldn t get his machine to communicate with my car and that he didn t even check the issue that we had described (we are assuming because he forgot).we had our car their for 3 days when we called him back and he told us he didn t have a number to call back even though my wife and I both called his shop and she was In an ongoing text with him giving him 3 points of contact. Furthermore he asked us to bring the car in at one point a second time the next morning and we did only for him to not show up ( this was the opportunity for us tell tell him what was going on with the car a 4th time but we thought we had told him the problem enough times verbally and through text, I guess not) also he ask us to bring the car on a certain day to look at it only to not look at it and tell us it s working fine the second time we bring the car in as if he forgot about the whole situation. Poor communication, not professional or punctual. Would not recommend. Seemed very forgetful.the one positive I ll give him is that He was honest because when he took our money and we asked him if he saw the issue we were referring to with the AC said I didn t even check that forgetful but honest!

What impressed me most was that he wasn't interested in my full name... he says they do business on a first name basis. You won't find that at any large repair shop... if your lucky, they'll give you a customer ID number. Well not at Ed's... not only does he do business on a first name basis, Ed is a trustworthy & knowledgeable mechanic. He's reasonably priced & cares for his customers. I went there for A/C work on my vehicle & he had it ready in 2.5 hours... a complete A/C component install!If you have your parts available, he'll do a labor only quote. I highly recommend Ed for all your vehicle repair needs.

He is the absolute best guy to bring your car to. Hands down. He won t lie to get money and he damn sure won t give anyone backlash. Overly friendly and overall a great guy. It s been an absolute pleasure having him as a neighbor. No regrets. He s awesome,

I recently relocated to Denham springs and needed my ac repaired and motor mounts replaced.Ed had excellent customer reviews and I am now a customer of his as long as I remain here.Ed was very affable and extremely professional. He got my car in and out promptly.Excellent service. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Ed is a very honest mechanic who won't steer you wrong. He does his best to get the vehicle back to you in a timely fashion and guarantees his work. I won't go to anyone else in town besides him!

Did not fix my AC on my Truck. He replaced the AC Core under the Dashboard. For $770.00. And it didn't fix it. I'm from Michigan. When I got home I used Dye and found the leak right away. I believe he took advantage of out of town people. For $64.00 l fixed the problem.
