I went to this shop last week and got a set of 4 tires on my Jeep. It was incredible service. I was greeted by a handsome young, balding gentleman named Scott upon my arrival. He is very knowledgeable. All of his workers are polite and friendly as well. A++++ Service and definitely recommend this shop!! They will always leave you with a Smitty s Smile!

Scott and Chad are absolutely amazing! Had a terrible experience with 3 different alignment shops who all left my truck with problems so I went to Smitty's on the recommendation of a coworker. Scott was determined to make sure this would be the last time I dealt with the issue. Chad worked multiple hours on my truck with many test drives till he finally got it fixed. Cannot recommend them enough!

I went to get my tire fixed this morning and I wanted to take the time to right a review. More than once I witnessed what a great businessman Scott is.An older woman was buying a new set of tires and wanted the best ! Scott asked her a few questions about her driving habits and told her he could sell her the best, but he had a less expensive set that would be just as good. Not many people would convince someone to spend less money but he did.He and Leo fixed my tire and enjoyed a little conversation too. Smitty s Tires makes getting a flat a pleasant experience. Thanks Scott & Leo I will never buy a tire anywhere else.

I would give more stars if I could. Smitty was so sweet and helpful to me; my tire was damaged when I took it in for service at the dealership and the dealership would not fix their mistake and were extremely rude. I went to Smitty to get his opinion and buy a new tire from him and he got me in quickly and gave me an amazing deal on my new tire.His staff was also super friendly And helpful and I will 100% be back in the future.

Great prices but every time I have gotten tires done they do not have time to do an alignment. That is not right. If you are getting new tires they should do an alignment. Both times I got tires they told me that they didn t have time to do the alignment. That s part of what a decent tires shop should do.

I had always gone to the Smitty's in Meraux for my tire needs and was always satisfied. However, I had to go to the location in Chalmette because I was driving on a deflated tire and needed to get there quickly. The service received was efficient, but more important, this is where the love affair with my vehicle began. While there, I asked about my tires, and Scotty said that I was due for a new set. I told him I wanted the biggest, baddest, chunkiest, most treadest (not a word) tires he could put on my vehicle, and I told him to make the decision. Well, the tires he chose were beyond my highest expectations. They are quite attractive, really stand out, ride like a dream, and get many compliments. In addition, if I get my oil changed there (which I did not know they did), I get my tires rotated for free. Can't beat that! I told Scotty that I needed some touch-up paint work on my vehicle, and he recommended a quality painter. 2 weeks later, my car looks new and so cool, so I had to drive by the shop to show off what a little love can do to a vehicle. My Toyota is a 2006, and I have zero plans to get rid of it.If you are looking for honesty, quality, sincerity, and good people, go to Smitty's. I cannot recommend Scotty and his father enough!

Great guys! Family business for longer than my 40 yrs! If you aren't from the area and don't already know the shop, they are the best place to stop if you're looking for quick, reliable, treat everyone from anywhere like family to of service!

Went above what I expected. They were easy to work with, honest with their pricing, and made suggestions that kept me from spending more then I should have to. I'll be back the next time I need tires for one of my vehicles. A+ service!

Great service and great people!I purchased 4 tires only a week ago and ended up with a nail in one of them today, yep just my luck! Smitty's fixed it and didn't charge me anything because they felt so bad!THANKS SMITTY'S TIRE OF CHALMETTE!!!

I was on my way home from work today (I live in Covington) and I pulled over because I had a flat tire. I m new to the area, and was really unsure how I was supposed to get all the way back across the lake. But I looked up and saw Smitty s. Talk about a godsend! The kind gentlemen wasted no time helping me, even though I could tell they were swamped at this hour. Unfortunately, they did not have my exact tire size at the time but he loaned me a tire to ENSURE that I would make it home safely across the lake and wasn t relying on a spare. This kind stranger took the time to replace my tire and did it all free of charge because he didn t have the exact size, and reiterated that he just wanted to make sure I was safe and could get home . I ve lived in LA for a short time now and I m always amazed at how kind everyone is to me this shop blessed me with that today! I will definitely be bringing my business back here! Thank you again!!!

I agree with other reviewer. One of the best car/tire/service experiences I've ever had. They stayed late and the prices were exceptionally reasonable. When I need new tires I will definitely go back. Friendly - the conversation was as good as the service. Want to recommend to all my friends.

Scott and his crew always take care of my tire needs. My family & I take the drive from Slidell to Chalmette because we know the work will be done quickly and at a fair price. Recommend 100%

I definitely recommend Smitty s Tire. I ve been going to Smitty s Tire for over twenty years and always had a great experience with them. I moved out of Chalmette and I still bring my vehicles to them. For instances I contacted Smitty s Tire today, due to my truck tire was about to blow out. I have specialty tires that is not usually stocked, but Scott was able to get four tires for me and have it installed on the same day. Not only he was able to get the tires, he also had the best price.

I am a photographer who is on the road a lot . When I have any tire problems I always go to Smitty s tires in Chalmette. They are awesome !! Service is quick just like a pit crew in a race . They have you on the road in no time at all . Smitty s staff members are courteous and treat you like family. I am based out Covington and always make the trip to my most trusted team who keeps me rolling throw out the gulf coast !!

One of the best tire repair shops in St. Bernard Parish, very polite and courteous owner and staff. Was very eager to help and assest the customer in every aspect of tire buying and repair. I highly recommend that if you need tires or tire repair go check them out. I really think it's a shame and a disgrace when someone who has never even visited this business would make a lying review to further there own families business. To truly know the awesome people that work at Smittys Tire of Chalmette check them out for yourself and don't let a false and lying review sway your judgement of this awesome business.

Talked to Scott about replacing tires on my 2016 Dodge Challenger. He recommended a Tire by Hercules. Tire has a Factory Road Hazard Warranty as well Free Tire Rotation. Saved me over $400 compared to my last Set. New Tires Look and Ride Great!! Couldn't Be More Pleased!! Thanks Again Scott!!Mark N.

Just went to have a nail pulled. Profession service. They removed the tire, verified it was not punctured, then didn't charge me. Excellent service!

Was stuck with a flat tire and filled it with fix a flat to make it to here. Thought I was going to have to get a new tire but they saved the day and patched it up for me! Great service and fast too I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great local, dependable business . Quick service, if they don't have your tire can order it for next day. Idk ao about tires and they made me feel comfortable with my choice and explained the warranty
