I went in for an alignment. And they were booked with cars to be service and was Meet with good customer service welcome and I had my car because it. So I was waiting on a ride to pick me up because it was going to be a while. But my ride never showed up. And I had to sit and wait and watch these to men work on all these customers' cars. Note... it was only two and out of the two. One was a manager... who was not only helping work on customers' cars. But greeting customers as they came and left. And answered phone and all. So I said all that to say. I give Firestone in Chalmette La. An A plus. Thanks for good communication and good customer support.

This is probably the worst customer service I have ever received from a Firestone.I made the appt ahead of time, I specifically asked them if my car would be finish by 5pm. They reassured me over and over they would have it done. It s been sitting for two hours. They even took other people before my appt. I asked for my keys to cancel my appt and there wasn t even an apology. This was a complete waste of my time.

Over priced. Tried to tell me I needed new tires when I didn t. Said I needed new windshield motors but took them to my mechanic and they both work perfectly fine. Terrible over priced. I don t like that I was being taken advantage of for being a woman will never go back.

Best service I have EVER EXPERIENCED at a Firestone and I have been to mine of them from ATL-Metairie and CHALMETTE IS THE BEST . Francois and Blake are the Best in customer service care .. Francois gave me a smile and greeted me with the most polite since of care and Blake ensured me that my truck was in good hands with him being my mechanic . I am so grateful for the Chalmette location . I will be back!!!!

Don t go for an alignment Tried to get an alignment, when I went to pick up they had the caster at +2.6 one side and -0.4 on the other, exactly the same as the before measurements. I asked them to fix it was told it won t adjust that s the best we can do .Truck is not safe to drive.I pulled the tires off to look and they didn t even attempt an adjustment. You can clearly see the tech never even put a wrench on the cam bolts.

Only took about an hour and a half to get my tire repaired. There was a nice pan head screw in the treads. Granted I dropped it off and expected to pick it up the next day but received a call it was done and they wheeled it out to me before I got to the door. Very much appreciated!

I recently visited Firestone for a maintenance issue without an appointment and was very impressed with the service I received. Walter, the mechanic who assisted me, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was able to quickly service my car thoroughly and quickly. He honestly was a God send! Overall, I had a great experience at Firestone and would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of automotive maintenance. I ve been here a a couple of times and I m always blown away by the service and general chill of everyone working here. These guys are great. They let you know what s up - if you don t know, and that s often the case with me - and then they fix it, replace it, etc. In a time when few people take a moment to really care about what they are doing, this spot set a high standard. And they have cartoons on, on Sunday morning.Service: Oil change

CUSTOMER BE AWARE! Spent $900 for a business trip and these $%#$^# tried to f it up. Mark your tires if you are getting a rotating. Mark your lugs if getting balance. Mark er'damb thing! I really think I should go to corporate about it. This place is nothing but a scam and will straight lie in your face.

This shop used to be good, took my car here for years. Not sure what happened the last several months but the service is slow and inconsiderate. Seems disorganized - they're having trouble keeping track of what's going on with the cars, not keeping to appointment times, and not calling to notify of delays. If work hasn't been started by the time it was supposed to be completed, a phone call is a reasonable expectation.

I had two tires replaced at a cheap, discount store, and about two hours later, one of those tires up and exploded. Once I got my spare on to bring it back to that little store, this godawful scraping noise started. I got that tire replaced free of charge, but brought it to Firestone for the scraping.Manager was convinced it was the transmission, but I showed him some before and after photos of the awful day I'd been having in regard to tires, and I saw a lightbulb go off in his mind. He told me to wait inside for five minutes; thought he could fix it. Five minutes surpassed, and he came to get me. A dust cover behind the rotor got bent into the rotor. I presume he bent it back. No more scraping noise.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I got a oil change 8/01/23 about 10:11am. When the guy finished my oil change he went driving my car all fast through the home depot parking lot instead of parking it in there lot so, I can leave. I don't think he was supposed to test drive my car enough to have a wreck. I just looked at him then, I get in the car he left a dirty rag in there with my rug all kicked up.Service: Oil change

Came in due to a tire flat. Worked with Bubba and he was able to help get me fixed up quickly. Found other issues while there and worked with Cartez to coordinate. We brought our truck in last Saturday for their advertised $10 full vehicle inspection and when we picked it up we were told there were no issues found with the truck. Great news right? Well 5 minutes after we left the shop, the brakes of the truck started to malfunction. We almost got in an accident because you had to put your full body weight on the brake to get it to stop. When pressing the brakes you can hear air coming out from the pedal. We turned right around and brought it back to the shop (probably weren't gone more than 15 minutes). When we brought it back and we explained what was going on they responded "the brakes were fine"...they then brought the mechanic out who worked on the truck (he was extremely nice) and they told us to bring the truck back on Monday and they would lift it and see what was going on. We brought it back on Monday and the guy at the front desk immediately said "We didn't do anything to your brakes" and he got in to do a test drive and didn't even have to pull it all the way out of the parking space to see what we were talking about. He told us it would cost us $500-$600 to fix the problem. We left because I don't think it is a coincidence that 5 minutes after leaving an overall inspection that the brakes magically stopped working and now were expected to come out of pocket over $500 to fix something that happened at your shop? Accidents happen and I totally understand that but it's how you choose to correct them. I called and left a message for the regional area manager to contact us and was told I can expect a response in 48 hours...We have had zero communication from anyone at firestone and are coming up on 7 days without a working truck.

I went to this place a couple of years ago and it took them 5 hours to check my vehicle and put new tires on. Every time I checked they said it would just be a few minutes more. I have no idea why I went back, but I figured maybe it was just a one off.So, I call and make an appointment. I get there, they don't have the appointment on the books. I said I'd make another appointment. The guy says no, they can get to it in a few minutes. So, we toddle off to putz around Home Depot while we wait. 40 minutes later, my car hasn't moved, so i go in and again say I'll make another appointment. NO, HE'S JUST ABOUT TO PULL THE CAR IN. Okay. We toddle off to the coffee shop. 20 minutes later the car still hasn't moved. Long to short, I asked for my keys while the guy is trying to explain to me why you can have an appointment and still wait hours and hours. So why make appointments? Plus, they act as if they're doing you a favor instead of charging an arm and a leg to provide a service. There will be no third time. I'd give minus stars if I could since I got burnt twice by them.

Talk about bad customer service. I made an online appointment on Sunday detailing everything I thought I needed done for my Tuesday 8am appointment. I arrived Tuesday and dropped off my vehicle. I was told I only needed tires, which needed to be ordered, and an alignment. I was told my tires would be in that day but it would possibly be a wait until Wednesday to get them put on. I picked up my car Tuesday and was told to drop it off Wednesday morning and it would be the first car on the bay. I drop my car off Wednesday explaining to the front counter person,who is someone else, that I ll need my car by 3. That evening I return to pick up my car and it still isn t done. I attempted yet again to drop it off Thursday to arrive and it is as if my request has been completely erased. My tires were sold to someone else and there was no concern for my inconvenience. I have spent $30 on Uber trips back and forth to this place and I m sure I won t get that back either. Never returning or recommending.

Cartez Brown needs a raise, Cartez represent Firestone in the most exemplary manner. Cartez demonstrates the upmost professionalism when managing the store and attending to customers. I wish all employees anywhere would present and conduct themselves in the manner that he does when it comes to customer service. Excellent job Mr. Cartez Brown.

I brought my 2016 legacy w 40,000 miles in just to get my tires(w 8k miles on them) balanced and they said a weight fell off and it was fixed. $65 three hours no problem. That day it's still shaking on the interstate pretty bad so I bring it back and manager says machine only goes up to 65 mph! Horrible service and bad attitude don't go there!

The wait was about 2 1/2 hours but that's to be expected when going to get your car repaired...There were cars before mine and I didn't make an appointment so my wait was expected. I've always had good customer service with all the guys at the desk except for one..I just avoid him when I go there!..lol..Overall it's a good place to go for your car repairs.

Excellent service, we purchased a nice set of Bridgestone tires for our SUV. We are repeat customers and we will only let Steve take care of our vehicle needs. We travel from out of town and the experience makes it worth our drive. Thanks again Steve!

Overall service is good. It can be a long wait though. My last visit I had to get a tire repaired and the following day my tire was flat. I returned and they fixed the problem. The tech himself came and apologized and informed me exactly why the patch had failed and it was due to his error. To me that is first rate. I will always go back for service when a facility has honest hard working individuals. Kudos to that tech.
