Wow, I was completely blown away by the service and care I got from this business. I cant remember the last time I wrote a review for anywhere, but I absolutely had to promote this place. I came in because of some engine troubles with no appointment expecting to not get much help but they did everything they could to figure out what the problem was and help me out. Please Please Please give this place your business they deserve it

These folks were fantastic. I ran over some debris on I-10 late at night and had my car towed to their shop. When they opened in the morning, they pulled my car in immediately and got me back on the road fast. Very professional and kind. Thanks for the service!!

Today 9/26/23 I went to Louisiana Automotive for an oil change I was very pleased with the service. The service man Sam also noticed I had a small oil leak which the place I was using before never mentioned to me. Leah was very helpful and courteous. Mr. Briley was very helpful as well he took my car for a test drive without charging me . I recommend Louisiana Automotive to anyone. Thanks againService: Oil change

The alternator on my car malfunctioned on I-10 in Breaux Bridge,LA. This repair shop was a Godsend ! The ENTIRE CREW from the time I walked in until I paid my repair cost were not only PROFESSIONAL, but but also very kind and patient with me. The repair cost was also reasonable. I wish I could give them a 10 star rating instead of 5.

Ive brought two different vehicles here for general maintenance. Typically talk to "Leah" up front, and she's great. Have also talked to a mechanic who was equally helpful. Service was good. But what stood out is someone else did a break job on my sons truck prior to us finding La Auto, after that we brought it to La Auto to get an alignment. Had trouble with the break job shortly after and La Auto checked it and repaired/adjusted it for us for free. Honest and fair is hard to find folks. Bring your vehicles here.Services: Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Great atmosphere.High quality standards for Louisiana auto shop(rare and good)Took in vehicle for diagnostic at a time when they had at least 10 cars about to be worked,.Day and a half later got a call to come get the estimates(they printed them out without having to ask).When I went in, all the cars previously mentioned were worked out and off the lot.Not one bad attitude experienced, no big headed high horses workers.I left here confident instead of uneasy.

Was on the road back to Texas when my air condition stopped cooling. I googled this company and called him and he got me right in it was the high-pressure switch and replaced it. He gave me a bill of $337 which I thought at first was a little high but then I was just glad to have my air condition working. I got on down the road about an hour later he called me and said that he charged the wrong price and gave me the wrong ticket it was $245 and actually refunded me the difference! can you believe it, an honest mechanic!!! goes to show you there s still good people in this world! I highly recommend this shop and will use them anytime I m in Louisiana and I need work on my truck!Service: Air conditioning

Brought my car there after calling first for them to check my brakes. I Didn't get greeted by anyone except one mechanic that passed by about 20 minutes later. I should've walked out but I didn't bc I really needed my car fixed. He told me I had to leave my car there for it to be check thoroughly. NO PROBLEM!! 3 days later..... No call, no diagnosis or anything. I honestly doubt my car was touched. I heard great things about them but saw none of it when I got there!! I was willing to pay anything to have my car fixed so money wasn't an issue. I know what the issue was but hopefully they will give ALL PEOPLE the service they pay for and deserve in the future!! I've went there for an oil change in the past but they will never get another dollar of my hard earned money again!!

Short version: Great shop, recently hired an excellent receptionist, quality work, good pricing. Ask how long it will take to do the job, how much it will cost, give them a good phone number to reach you, and answer when they call so that they can give you that information.Long version: I have an old '97 Jeep Cherokee and I've gone to this shop about a dozen times in the past two years for big and small jobs. The work has always been great quality and the pricing is good. I don't do my oil changes here because there's a 5-minute oil change place on Rees Street, but for everything else I go to Louisiana Automotive. The big thing that I've seen complaints about in reviews on other sites is time. What you have to understand is that, despite being a small shop, this place is really popular. Sometimes (not always, but sometimes) there is so much business in this shop that they can't get to my car for a day or two, or even three. Other times they can look at it right away. It also depends on how long of a job it is. If I have a 30 minute fix, they'll usually work me in the same day even if they're super busy. If it's a 6 hour job (which it has been), I have to wait my turn. To address the complaint from Google reviewer Kala Adair, the last two times I went to the shop they had a very friendly and competent full-time receptionist (a major improvement to the shop in my opinion), so I wouldn't expect to walk in and wait 20 minutes to talk to somebody. As for your car being 3 days in the shop with no call, maybe they were busy and didn't tell you, or maybe whoever took it wasn't keeping good records and they forgot about your car; who knows, but these are the sort of problems that are fixed by hiring a good receptionist. "How long will the job take?" is also a question that you should ask of any mechanic when you first talk to them. I always do, and I always get a call back with that information (and a price quote) after they've inspected my Jeep.

The owner and staff's service here has been BEYOND AMAZING! They not only treat you with the utmost service but will walk you through exactly what is wrong and help in fixing the issue. I went in due to what I believed was my transmission giving issues (it always shifted hard and the truck started to shake violently at certain rpm's recently). Well, they figured out the issue was my spark plug had been cracked durring my last tune-up. So after they replaced the spark plug (and we changed the trans fluid as well) my truck runs better than when I first bought it back in 2017! No more shaking when I hit the inerstate and it has never shifted smoother!

Great/honest mechanic shop! Helped me out when my truck broke down on I-10. Didn't try to do work that didn't make sense, even when they could have made more off me. Everyone there was friendly & helpful.

I do all my services here, love the friendly people, fast and accurate service, if theirs a problem they will get down to the bottom of it before you leave with it. I would highly recommend Louisiana Automotive for all your car care needs.

Horrible customer service from the front end MANAGER. She had the worst attitude & when I asked for the owner to ask why they repaired something without my knowing, I was told "For what? He always sides with me anyway but he is on vacation until next week. Come back then."
