I had a great experience- PLEASE READ- I had about 2k in damage done to my newer BMW. I didn't want to file an insurance claim so I got 4 quotes and Greg at Rocket gave me the lowest price and fastest turnaround time. The Greg Owen's that I did business with was honest and did great work. My car looks brand new again. Thanks to Greg and Kim for being so easy to work with. They went the extra mile to build my tryst and I will only use Rocket Collision from now on.

Owens is a winner! There is no question of service, quality, and reliability. My family has used Owens for over 15 years now, and we always leave satisfied and confident the job was done correctly. We have a Volvo, Chevy truck, and a Ford SUV, and Owens have worked on all of them. What we appreciate most is their willingness to work with the insurance company to complete the job properly. It's often very emotional when we bring in a vehicle, especially when it has involved our children. Greg and the team step up and assure us that they will take care of us -- and they always do! We highly recommend Owens.

I have NEVER posted a review of any service or product on any website until this one that I also posted on Yelp...wanted to save as many people as possible the frustration and financial burden incurred when taking your car to Owens.DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I wanted to provide my 22 year old son a valuable lesson after he had an "at fault" accident, so I had him handle his own repair from start to finish. He chose Owens based on a friend's recommendation. Approximately 1 month after contacting Owens, Devon (Owens employee) finally called my son and told him they had reached an agreement with Kemper and to bring in his truck the next morning...which he did.The adjuster kept calling my son (and me twice) during the next couple of weeks telling us how terrible Owens was and that they were demanding another $4000+ supplement. They said they had found A LOT of additional damage once they took the truck apart. Finally, the insurance agreed and paid them that amount. By this time, our rental policy of 30 days was almost up, so we had to start paying $35/day rental out of pocket.I then got involved and started calling Devon myself. After several vague excuses and blaming the adjuster 100%, she finally told me the door came in damaged. She took no responsibility for that delay because our insurance company required used parts...said you never know what will come in when you can't use new parts.Long story (kind of) short, Owens kept his truck for 8 weeks AFTER telling him they were "on go". He was also told by Devon twice "it would be ready by the end of the week", and it was definitely not, unless Owens' weeks are 21 days long.

Amazing customer service and communication. They let me know every step of the way how my repairs were going. I brought vehicles to Owens after my last 2 wrecks. This is the only place in Baton Rouge to get the quality of the repairs and excellent customer service every time. I started bringing in all my vehicles to Owens for monthly servicing as well. The service dept is top notch and quick. Thanks for the continued great work guys.

Terrible place. I paid out of pocket for overages to get my vehicle released to me after repairs. My insurance also paid the overages directly to Owens so Owens got paid twice for the same thing. After numerous requests for repayment from myself and my insurance company Owens never returned the money they collected twice on. They are rude, slimy, and had the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The nasty woman at the front desk is like a bouncer at a cheap club. She will never let your phone call go past her, always claims you need to speak to someone else, but that person is never in at the time. Trust me! Go somewhere else. Lots of shops way better than these crooks.

July 20, 2018 was not a good day for me. I backed up into my housekeeper's car causing damage not only to her car but mine. Owen's Collision is very close to my house and since my husband had such good service from Owen's some months back there was no question as to who would repair the two cars I damaged. Devon, Mike and Greg were so easy to deal with. Devon explained the entire process and I never doubted she was telling me the truth. Both cars were repaired in a timely manner and the result were superior. I highly recommend Owen's Collision for your collision repairs.

I have brought my vehicle to Owens on two separate occasions and was extremely happy with the experience each time. They dealt with the insurance company, made quality repairs, and were respectful and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend bringing your vehicle to Owens for any repairs, big or small.

I have a 1996 Volkswagen Cabrio and it has started to show it's age the past couple of years. Over the past three years I've had to put about $1,500.00 of work into it each year. I had been going to the same auto mechanics shop up until it sold to another company, changed names, and the old general manager retired. Under new ownership and management they just kept giving me the runaround, prices went up, misleading me, wouldn't return phone call, wouldn't order the parts I needed, and would just flat out lie. It was time for a change!!So I went to Owens Collision and Automotive Service Center on Jefferson Hwy in Baton Rouge. It has been a blessing! I came to them with the estimate my old shop had given me and asked if they could beat this price and would be willing to service my vehicle. Brad Owens said he would be more than happy to service my vehicle but the parts would take a little time and they would have to remove my motor to work on it. I completely understood. Brads continual correspondents with me over the telephone has been nothing but professional and courteous. He called to let me know what all the parts would cost before the services were even rendered, so there was no surprises on my bill when it came time to pay at the completion of the job. Not only did Owens Collision and Automotive Service Center do what they said they would do, but they were also able to save me a couple hundred bucks !!! It feels good to know there are still service departments out there that value the customer and are willing to work with them. Now they will always have my business, because they gained my respect and trust.

Greg Owens and his team have always been very honest, dedicated, and Dunn outstanding work for me for over 15 years. They always go above and beyond, both working with me as well as with the insurance company to make sure the process is as painless as possible. My vehicles always come back to me in flawless condition and I will never use another auto body shop ever again!

Love the experience at Owen's Collison!! Devon and Mike are absolutely wonderful. When my insurance company started giving me the run-around, Devon stepped in and got things done. She is/was so very nice, patient, and understanding of my frustrations. My Windshields Body and Glass repair workmanship is impeccable. I highly recommend this shop. They are friendly, professional and make sure your vehicle is repaired correctly.

I have been a customer of Owens in the past and ha e enjoyed great service for both insurance related repairs and personnel repairs. Unfortunately however I recently took my vehicle there for a auto accident repair and things went south from there. On three different occasions I was given dates as to when my vehicle would be completed and none were met. They had my vehicle for over 30 days and used the excuse that the parts kept coming in damage and caused the delays. They called my insurance company and told them the car would be done on a certain date. My insurance company call me to tell me it would be done i in turn Call Owens only to. E told it wouldn t be done and pushed the date out but never informed the insurance company who because of Owens informing them of its completion end my rental coverage. At which point the rental company began charging me for the rental because the insurance was no longer covering it doe to the fact they had been told I had my car back. So I was informed by the rental company 5 days later that I was being charged for the additional. So when I called Owens to discuss what was going on my express my displeasure of all that was going on their only response was they don t do anything with rentals and it was there problem. I explained that I didn t feel I should be responsible for the additional five days since it was they who delayed my vehicle and had given and missed three promised deadlines. They didn t want hear it and said it wasn t their responsibility. So then when I m told I can pick up my car and they say their open until 5:00 pm they leave early when we show up close to but before closing time and say you can t have your car because the person in charge of that has left. Then I received a phone telling me they ll only accept a cashiers check or cash for payment, now I ve paid them three times before with checks and there s never been a problem and they have it posted on their place of business that they take credit cards. So once I complain now I m not a trustworthy customer!! So then when I contact the person who has left and explain the situation they tell me that we are lying that we weren t there in time (even though I have proof via a time stamp on my phone) so then when I asked to speak with the Owner they don t want to give me a number but they ll relay the message. I asked them to have the owner call me. Then I received a phone call back from the individual who doesn t want to give me the owners phone number and they then want to offer to pay for my additional five days of rental ( so only after they think their going to be in trouble. So we show up today to pick up the car try to pay with a credit card check they refused to take it, they have caused additional damage to my vehicle outside of the auto accident and say they didn t even though I have proof of it with pictures my spouse waits over 4 hours and the owner never comes out or by to speak with her so we finally have to pay them in cash to get our vehicle back and take it without there admitting they caused additional damage or offering to fix it. Pretty sad if you ask me.

I was in a wreck in 2015 and it was the first serious wreck I have ever been in. I had my hands full dealing with insurance companies and going on with daily life. I was so glad I chose owens collision center to deal with the damages to my vehicle. Even though, my car ended up being totaled because of the wreck, Owens Collision Center helped me every step of the way! They kept me informed and hassle free throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend this place to friends in family!

I have used Owens Collision multiple times, and have never been disappointed! From having the nicest staff members and workers to the quality of the job, these guys are the best! Very time efficient, and great about keeping you updated. I plan to continue using Owens, and recommend them to everyone!

If I could give it negative stars I probably could.. My friend brought his car to Owens. His car was in the shop for almost SEVEN weeks for very minor damage. He had a scratch on his door that needed to be repainted. Everytime he called and asked when his car would be finished they gave him the run around. The job was only supposed to take three days, but like mentioned previously it ended up taking almost seven weeks. The staff is very rude, if you call them and ask them something they will not call you back. They aren't really clear on their lies, so they get mixed up quite often. ON the day that Owens gave my friend to pick up his car, he made it all the way there, just for them to tell him the car was not ready, and he didn't get it until three days later. I would tell ANYONE DO NOT GO TO OWENS

Owens Collision accomodated while I was searching for a new car. They have checked out several cars for me and briefed me on the car conditions, the cost of repairs and whether or not I should purchase that car. The service was great, the mechanics were very polite and respectful and were able to look at the cars on a short notice. I would recommend using Owens Collision!

I brought my Acura in after being run into a ditch. From the outside it looked like the bumper was damaged. So I decided to drive it instead of having it towed. Wow, that was a mistake. I could barely keep it on the road. So I brought it to Owens. Glad I did. I ended up having major suspension problems. Of coarse the insurance wanted to repair the bumper and move on. I was patient while Owens fought the insurance company to get my car properly repaired. I appreciate them working with the insurance company on behalf. Thanks Greg!

I have used Owen's for much of my vehicle needs in the past several years. They may not be the cheapest, but you are guaranteed to get high quality work done by qualified mechanics and staff in a timely manner. You get what you pay for! They have even gotten me transportation after drop offs, suggested skipping unneeded or impractical upgrades, and always get the courtesy call to check in days after I pick up my vehicle. Oh, and being next to Tramonte's with the best burger in Baton Rouge is another big plus!

I used Owens earlier this year due to being rear ended and they were amazing!!! They walked me through everything pertaining to insurance. When I saw my car again it looked brand new!!! Completely satisfied and will do business with them again if needed!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!Click the next place, do not give them your business. This place is fraudulent, corrupt and full of liars.The only reason I have even given this horrible company a 1 star is to be able to post a review.Not only did the work take NINE MONTHS to complete, not only did the mechanic post photos of himself drinking while fixing my car, not only was the reception lady, Devon, rude and a liar, but even after I got my car back from this place it proceed to break down in the middle of I-10 leaving me stranded for hours.I cannot stress how awful this place truly is. I acknowledge I did pick them after a lack of careful scrutiny over where to go, however it is unprecedented that any company should take almost 10 months to complete work on any vehicle.Having my car at Owen's Collision has been the worst experience of my life. They will probably know exactly who this is when they read this review and i'm not inclined to care.This company had my car for 10 months. Furthermore, after that 10 months not everything was fixed.Worst mechanic, worst customer service, just worst overall in Baton Rouge.They had my car for 10 months, do NOT give them yours

Took over 9 weeks to get my truck back, and that was after pestering them continuously for weeks about when will my vehicle be ready. They kept adding supplements to a damaged truck to bring a total estimate for work to be over 18 thousand dollars, on a fender bender! My air bags didn't even deploy. Once I got my vehicle back I immediatly noticed my old skid plate on the truck, which they charged my insurance company $200 plus labor to install a new one. They told me bring it back and it will be taken care of. As soon as I left Owen's my father and I went eat at Chimes to celebrate finally getting the truck back, and we went back in the parking lot after the meal to realize that my battery was dead. They charged us for a new battery and never replaced the old damaged one from the wreck. Also my headlight and blinker doesn't work, and they left grease on the driver seat of the truck. If I can see all this shoddy workmanship just by looking at the outside, what sort of damage I can't see? I tried to take my truck out and bring it somewhere else but they wanted to charge me over $1000 since it was on their lot for a couple of weeks. Do yourself a favor and find another collision company. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Worst experience at a body shop I have ever had.

If I could give negative stars, I would! This place is a scam and full of con artist. It's been almost a month since my fiancee bought our car there and it's been hell ever since. First, they ask us to sign over the insurance check so they can start repairs on our vehicle, only to be told by the insurance company that the car is totaled because they want $9,000 to fix the vehicle. He went to recover the car and check only to be told they charged us $1,800 just for parts and a break down. We haven't seen any parts, and hardly any work to the car except the bumper is off the car. We have been given the run around since day one. The insurance company can't do anything about this because they have already cashed the check. Also, we decided just to take the remainder of the amount for the total lost of our vehicle, but can't get the remainder of that money because they haven't given the insurance company the remainder charges. What could possibly cost more money when clearly nothing has been done to the vehicle besides what's necessary for the estimate. After reading several other reviews that's very similar to ours, I plan to pursue legal action. We can not keep allowing this company to continue scamming consumers.

Owens collision is AWESOME! They did everything that they possibly could for me and then some AND had it done as quickly as possible. My car looks amazing and if needed I will definitely be back. Best collision and service center in Baton Rouge!

I never write reviews, but this place is the most incompetent business I have ever encountered. This entire process and dealing with these liars has put more stress on me than ever. My insurance company sent me to Owen's after a hit and run. My door was smashed in, window was shattered, but my car drove perfectly. After A MONTH, they called my mom (who was the helping deal with this since I am in school and work full time) and told her was something was wrong with the ignition and my car wouldn't start. They claimed it wasn't accident related so my insurance wouldn't cover it. My mom told them to hold on to the car while we made a decision about it. The next day, my mom called them only to find out that my car was towed to Team Honda UNAUTHORIZED to get everything fixed there, and Owen's was demanding we pay the towing fee AND the extra costs that supposedly my insurance would not cover. When confronted, they ignored our questions saying, "Our telling you that there were additional problems gave us permission to tow it. This wasn't our fault, Honda ignitions stop working all the time, it's just a coincidence that it stopped when it got here, it s not related to the accident, etc" Along with this, they also kicked my grandparents out of their business for asking too many questions and (rightfully) accusing them of being shady. They also told them they only had authorization to talk to me, even though my grandpa is the co-owner of my car. A worker also insulted my grandma by openly mocking her.I called my insurance company and told them everything that had happened, and what Owen's had told me. The adjuster told my claims rep that Owen's HAS to call THEM anytime there is something new or wrong with the car and they must call them first before towing it anywhere. Owen's told my ins. company that it wasn't accident related but would be willing to cover the tow fee at (most likely to cover their butt after everything that happened and avoid more bad reviews). Insurance decided to cover everything, including the tow fee and the fix of the ignition.A few days later I was told to come pick up my car. I get there only to find out that there is still glass EVERYWHERE from the shattered window. All over the seats, floor, and IN THE AIR DUCTS. I was forced to stay another hour waiting for them to vaccum and clean up all the glass. I got a $25 Portebello's gift card for all of my troubles but that doesn t even begin to cover the time and energy wasted, not to mention the work that I had to skip to go down there and wait. What a joke!If I had read any of the reviews before taking my car here, I would have sent it to somewhere else immediately. STAY AWAY FROM OWEN'S

It is obvious all the reviews for this are fake. Not only do they scam car owners, I have rented a condo from them and have been scammed since the beginning! Devon appears nice but is clearly only giving you the runaround, and you will quickly notice none of your problems are being resolved. Please be wary. I will not go into lengthy detail but just know that nothing was being done until I got a lawyer involved and even then, the legal fees began to amount to how much loss was incurred.

Owens turned my vehicle around in 1.5 days!!! Replaced and painted bumper. Friendly folks and kept me in the loop. I didn't know they are also a full garage as well. Oil changed and tire patched while I had a quick wait. Will be back!

Wow! They really screwed everything up! I brought my C230 in for paint and body work as they were recommended by my insurance company. There was over spray everywhere and they relabeled my car a CLK 320. I was asked to bring it back in and they agreed to loan me a car. Upon arrival everything changed and they refused the loaner and never fixed there shoddy work. I ended up having Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge repair the car properly. Avoid this place as they are more opt to repair Chevy's and Fords.

My terrible experience dates back 10yrs ago.My wife was rear-ended, and I insisted her car be towed to Owen's because my job had done a ton of business with themthem, and I THOUGHT I had a relationship there.Instead, they took a Mazda Tribute that was CLEARLY TOTALLED, and made sure they squeezed every drop out of the insurance company. The first estimate was only $4,000. But they kept "supplementing" until the cost of the repair was just short of the sticker price of the car. Somewhere around $19,000.They kept the car for at least six months. And when they were done, the rear hatch was on so crooked, I could literally slide my hand in through the gap when it was closed.I gave it back toto them several times, insisting it be done correctly. I'll never forget Greg Owen's saying to me, "Reed, your car was hit HARD! She'll never be a virgin again."Hilarious Greg. I think of that statement and your fraud everytime I see you acting like a buffoon on your commercials.My advice is to use the shop your insurance company recommends, unless it's these criminals.

Several people have told me they won't go anywhere but Owens. The employees were incredibly helpful and courteous. They were even willing to work with used parts or seek various solutions to fix my car on a budget given by an insurance company. I highly recommend this repair shop.

Greg Owens is a crook. Took my Mercedes in after the storm and kept the car for over 6 months. Ended up painting the whole car and it didn t need or require it. When I got it back the first time speakers were handing out the ceiling etc. tried to deal with little Napoleon and he wouldn t do what was right. I m glad he got exposed for what he does each and every day to consumers.

The staff at Owens Collision was great! I am truly satisfied with the repairs that were done to my Nissan Armada, it actually looks better now than it did before the accident!I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for an automotive repair shop!!!
