I'm from Houston, i was lost in a town where i know no one, had to leave work and about to break down. Mr Neil, if that's his name coz honestly i think he was an angel, saved my life, i was crying and felt alone, he fixed me up and rebuilt my faith in my father God. If someone asked me what a true Christian looked like, I'd tell them i met a real one in Baton rouge Louisiana at this shop, forever thankful

Best auto shop i've ever been to hands down. Dropped off my truck this morning for radiator swap,brake job, and misfire. Picked it up this afternoon and I couldn't be more satisfied. Neil is a first class guy. He does good work at reasonable prices. His lead mechanic Graham is very knowledgeable and the most meticulous mechanic I have met. They stand behind their work. I would highly recommend them!!

I have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee that needed the wiring fixed that goes to my cooling fan. Niel & his professional staff got me taken care of within the same business day. I was very impressed with the quality of work performed & would Highly recommend them to anyone in need of repairs looking for honest people that'll do right by you. The price was also reasonable & I'll be sure to bring my vehicle back to them for all future repairs. If they can't do it, they'll definitely point you in the right direction. My 2012 Honda Civic didn't start in the morning so I went to Autozone (where I bought it 1.5 yrs ago) and had them check it. They said the battery was fine and that it was the alternator. Well, I called Neil and he said that the Autozone's of the world use less-than-reliable equipment and said to come by and he would test my battery with his equipment. It took about 5 seconds for Neil to say it WAS the battery that was bad and not the alternator!I also asked Neil about a couple of other issues that the dealership said i needed to replace. After briefly examining those issues, Neil told me that no, I did NOT need to replace/repair those items.I am thoroughly impressed with Neil's pricing and service and HONESTY! I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but in this case, I am more than willing to write a positive recommendation based on my experience. Neil now has my business, and I am telling my friends/business associates that if they need any car repairs/maintenance, go see Neil!

Was referred to Neil s from another repair shop to replace the motor in our daughters car.Neil was courteous and explained the process to us. He found the motor and replaced in 4 days after receiving the motor. When we picked up the car he explained what happened to the other motor and told us to have the manufacturer contact him so he could explain to them that it was a manufacturer defect.I will recommend everyone to Neil s Automotive!

Best in town! Been knowing Neil for years and since I only like to drive difficult cars that tend to break...you ve got to have a mechanic who s smarter than the car is...and while I can t say that for 99% of mechanics in BR...I can say that for Neil!

Had my truck diagnosed at 2 other shops. Both of those shops were wrong. Took it to Neil s Automotive and he took care of the truck. Customer service, turn around time and prices are all better than anywhere else I have been. Thank you Neil for taking care of me!

I Brought a van into neils shop in December. My vehicle was in ruff shape mechanically. I give it to Neil and that day he calls me and tells me it s the fuel pump. The next day he calls me and says that the fuel pump fixed one issue but the van is still stalling due to the fuel injectors. Doesn t take long before I have my van back and as I m driving home maybe 6-7 miles and my van still has this rough idle and stalling when the vehicle is not moving like at a stop light for instance. I felt big improvement from how it was before so I went with it. After a couple weeks of this on and off issue but a relatively big issue. My car stalling in bumper to bumper traffic when it s really hot out middle of the day but works fine when I would drive it in the morning. I take it back to Neil under the guarantee that he had with me and told me he would look it over. Calls and says it s not doing it it s good to go. I pick it up and there s improvement I guess but my van is also inconsistent. Works when I leave his shop but I m working driving around in it a couple days later and have problems. I take it back to him in February and explained my issue to him and he calls me and says the idler air control valve is bad. He gives me my van and I m on my way. The van was doing the same thing. My solution was putting the van in neutral whenever I wasn t moving and it would keep the van from stalling. When it s in drive it drives like a champ. I didn t wanna take it back because I figured Neil and his shop did their job and it s probably something else going on with the van and didn t have extra money to be investing in it anyways. I put up with putting my van in neutral when I m at stoplights and it acting up for 3 months until it s time to get it fixed. I decide to go somewhere else just to be safe have another guy look at it. The guy calls me and says some other part needed to be fixed and my fuel pump was bad. I call Neil right away and tell him another shop said my fuel pump is bad and I told him It s been an ongoing issue. He tells me to bring it back and let him take a look. It takes 2 days for him to call me and says it s not doing it not at all come get it and if it does it again you bring it back while it s doing it but in a nice way. I asked him what the problem was he said he didn t find a problem. Said it s a brand new fuel pump, new fuel injectors, and new idler ac valve. I wasn t gonna argue but I found it hard to believe that he did nothing to fix it and a different shop is telling me parts he changed are bad. I took his word went and got in it started it up and it was a brand new van. The van isn t gonna fix itself and Neil telling me his fuel pressure gauge is good and it s had no issues since I brought it in made no sense to me. I wasted 3 months driving my van the way it was because Neil and his guys didn t get it fixed outa the first 3 times I brought it in, and I was convinced they did their job and my van just had other issues. This was intended for Neil, I can t imagine that someone is gonna read all the way through this and if so Neil and his guys eventually fixed mine so odds are they will take care of you too. I will never know what Neil and his guys did with my van and I could be overreacting but if there was anything that you could ve done to make this experience of mine with neils auto go any smoother and chose not too? Well I wouldn t put you down on the list as good people. There s room for people who are like that where Im headed, and whoever was working on my van can join you.

They always make you feel at home Me and My family have gone to them for years . Very nice family and business friendly staff the guys work hard on finding the problem fixing the issue and really helping customers feel safer while driving there vehicles knowing someone trusted did there job well . I have a 2012 Kia Sorrento and I was getting a check engine light. Took it to the Kia dealership and was told I needed a new air intake. They quoted me 1100 for repairs.It was keeping me from getting an inspection sticker so I Called Mr. Neal and he said to drop it off the next day. He agreed that it was the air intake and said it is a common issue. He replaced the intake for 780, gave me some good advice for fuel maintenance, and had my my car ready before 4pm that same day.I will be going to Mr. Neal from now on.

Just moved her from Vegas and brought my old Bronco to Neil. Now I'm bringing him my old Vette. Neil is very knowledgeable and thorough when he checks out and works on a vehicle, highly recommend.

LSU family, didn't know where to take car. Heard of it, but as a parent from out of state there was doubt. Church family there told me to send daughter's car there when it needed repair. God and LSU friendly, can't get better then that.
