Malcolm & Delous were extremely accommodating for us as we were stranded travelers late in the evening. They fixed my van with precision first thing the next morning. Both Malcolm and Delous showed us all the pain it was and the time to look at all the other details to make the car 100% ready to get back on the road. They were very thorough and professional!They were very fair on the pricing and the customer service was stupendous! If I was local to Baton Rouge, LA, this would be my auto repair shop! Thanks again Malcolm and Delous for making an unpleasant situation a pleasant experience. I wish you much success with your business.

Found this place right by my house and the owner Malcolm talked me through everything on the phone. He bent over backwards to make sure I knew what they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and how soon they could have it done for an amazingly competitive price. If I need any other repairs to my vehicle I will definitely bring it here again.

Brought my 2019 Ram truck in for a wheel balancing and told Malcolm about an additional rattling noise I had been hearing. He was able to get me in the same day I called and within a couple of hours he had discovered the what was rattling (others couldn t find it) and had the shimmy figured out! He fixed the rattle and discovered that it was my rims and tires causing the shimmy. His price was incredible and his knowledge of vehicles was extensive. He will for sure be my go to guy in Baton Rouge!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

My crew of 4 was packed up and on our way home from Thanksgiving with family that lives in Baton Rouge when we discovered our truck had a huge problem w the coolant system. ON A SUNDAY this business answered my call and took us in to fix our truck. They were fair priced, the service was excellent and we were on our way home THE SAME DAY. Despite parts needing ordered and being a Sunday, they pulled it off and fixed our truck and had my family on our way home that evening. Amazing and much appreciated! We cannot thank them enough but hope this review sends customers their way! They re good people, so great work and will treat you well

**UPDATE** 3 Years later. My suv had sat up for about 8 months. I brought it back to Mr Malcom and he and his team made sure to give me all the services possible for my budget. My truck is running like a top again! They are honset and do all they can to help get your vehicle in shape. I cant thank them enough! BEST MECHANIC IN BATON ROUGE!This has been by far the most wonderful experience I have ever had with a mechanic. Mr Malcom went above and beyond to help me get my SUV fixed and running right. Exceptional service and honesty. I have referred everyone I know to this truly one of a kind mechanic shop. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here. I will definitely be back! Wow, what great service! We were visiting from Florida and our radiator developed a crack before we were leaving for home. It was Sunday and I called all of the shops that were open, but none would help us. I called Drusilla Car Care to check on their hours for Monday and was surprised that Malcolm answered the phone! He talked us through our problem and looked up the radiator we needed. He was at the shop with his mechanic Delous, so we were able to take the car in right away. Being Sunday, most shops would have said come back tomorrow. Malcolm's young daughter checked us in, which told us all we needed to know about this business. It is truly a family run business that cares. Malcolm and Delous priority was to get us safely back on the road. They explained the repair thoroughly. They also prioritized the repair and were able to replace the radiator on Monday and we were headed back home. I cannot thank them enough. I recommended them to my son and his friends at college as their go to place for car care. Delous is an excellent, knowledgeable mechanic and their prices are very reasonable. This is what car care used to be. Customer service is their specialty!

Fantastic repair shop! This shop was recommended to me by a few friends who had used Drusilla in the past. I called Malcolm to discuss the issues I was having with my truck, and he was very knowledgeable and explained the likely problems occurring with my vehicle. We set up a time for me to drop my vehicle off, and his team was able to quickly determine the problems and provided me with a very detailed plan to repair my truck. Malcolm was able to give me a great price on the repairs, and added some additional services like a tire rotation and exterior detailing (yes, the repair shop WASHED MY CAR!) for no additional cost! All in all, this is a great local shop in Baton Rouge, and I highly recommend you give the folks at Drusilla Car Care the opportunity to work on your vehicle! Great company to do business with!

I would recommend Drusilla car care, those guys are great, the labor is a little higher than other shops but fair for the quality of work they put in! The guys are really honest and upfront about what they want to do and why, they also try to only take the work they can get done in reasonable timelines and communicate really well what is going on with your vehicle.

I Read the reviews and I decided to trust the consumer and give Drusilla Car care a try and everyone was right! I have found my new mechanic shop even though it is an hour away from my home. Malcolm was so fair and honest with us about the repairs needed on my Mothers vehicle we got there thinking he would just tell us what was wrong but he ordered the parts and fix it the same day. Malcolm (Owner) and Dealious his mechanic were so kind to us while we waited on them to make the repairs. I am a customer for life and will be recommending this shop to everyone I know.

This is the second time I've had some major work done by Drusilla car Care and I can't say enough good things about them! They always explain each and every issue and break down every cost. Highly recommend if you need any work done on your car.

The past couple of months I have had several, random vehicle hiccups and was in need of a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. Fortunately enough, Drusilla Car Care was responsive and was more than welcome to help me even at the oddest of times and got the job done efficiently! By far the best service, reasonable price/quote, and expressed the willingness to help their customers with any car issues that may arise. Malcolm and his crew are exceptional and I will be continuing to contact them for any future auto services.

Super helpful, honest, efficient, fair, and kind. These guys took us in quickly and got us back out on the road after we ran over something on I-10. Our problem was an unusual one due to the engineering of our Toyota Prius, but they worked to figure it out and didn't charge us for their own mistakes, which was more than fair. I have been to Drusilla Car Care several times over the past couple years and the service is always top notch! It is always excellent service at a reasonable price! There was a rattling in my car when I was driving, and they were able to identify the problem and correct it quickly. There's a noticeable improvement when I drive my car now. I also got some routine maintenance, their pricing was reasonable, and they didn't over charge me. They provided a great experience for me and I will definitely return if I need more maintenance on my Mustang.Service: Oil change

I called into Drusilla because they came so highly recommended, and my car is my lifeline. I work on the road all day and wanted a mechanic I could connect with and build a relationship with. When I called, they told me upfront that they do not specialize in the type of car that I drive but then gave me an awesome, detailed recommendation for another shop that they trust and know well. They are so friendly and thorough, I would definitely recommend based on that interaction!

It was Good Friday and we had a leak in our "new to us" motorhome while traveling from Florida to Arizona. We were so lucky to call Malcolm who really went out of his way to take care of getting a new radiator installed in six hour. We were back on the road the same day but only because they went the extra mile for us. Blessings to these great guys.

Fabulous! I needed both of my exterior door handles replaced and I was only going to get one fixed because I was worried about cost. However, they fixed both of them for the same price as they quoted me for just one. The price was more than fair and they did it in reasonable time. Malcom is very friendly and definitely strives to create a relationship for returning clients. 100% recommend and I will be back!

1350 miles away from home and a check engine light comes on. Not what you want to see. The only advice I got was to take it to a dealership. That would be my last option, so I googled mechanics near me and found Drusilla car care and spoke with the owner, Malcolm. Malcolm told me to come right over. He ran a diagnostics and came up with the code. He spent the time explaining the problem, the part or parts needed. He gave me a more then fair price. When the car was ready, he called and lowered the price further. He rounds DOWN. I am from NYC, no one ever does that. Without a doubt, one of the nicest people I've met and a pleasure to do business with. If I lived here, he would, without a doubt be my mechanic.

I decided to come to this repair shop because it was close to where I live and when I had called they were very friendly and helpful. Ever since I first came in everyone that works there has been really great to me and my wife, they are realistic and enjoy what they do. They fixed up my old Toyota to where it ll run longer and willing to work out with payments. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a reliable place for their car service needs.

Mr. Malcom and his team do an excellent job taking care of my 2015 Nissan Versa, and I highly recommend his services! Very friendly and helpful in explaining any issues with my vehicle. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! I was raised by a mechanic and my parents moved out of state. I m typically sketchy of mechanics because I was raised to be. Mr. Malcom is probably one of the kindest most genuine people I ve met in BR in 4 years. He quoted me nearly half what the dealership did and he did not disappoint!! The crew are all friendly and highly skilled. My Jeep is running like new! If you want honest mechanics look no further! They most definitely earned my business!

Malcom, the owner was phenomenal. I was in town visiting family when my check engine light came on. No other mechanic in town had an opening to look at my truck. I pulled into his parking lot and called his shop. He took the time to come out and diagnose the problem. He really didn t have an opening, but he said that he didn t want me on the road with a check engine light on. So he squeezed me in. He was very transparent. He explained everything that needed to be repaired and showed me the parts that he was going order and explained what they did. He showed me how much each part going to cost. After the repair, he called the next day to check on me and see how my truck was running before I got back on the road. I wish that I had him in my hometown. Everyone at Drusilla was exceptional! We were visiting from GA and had car trouble when we were trying to go back home. The shop was closing soon but it did not stop them from doing EVERYTHING they can to get us back on the road. Not only were they punctual but they were understanding knowing we were far away from home, carefully explained to make sure we understood what was going on with the car. When we got back on the road they made sure we stayed in contact to ensure we got all the way home just in case they needed to come get us if possible. Never been so thankful to meet such honest people.

I can't speak highly enough of this shop. I needed significant repairs done on my vehicle and I took it in for estimates to more than five shops in the Baton Rouge area. From the beginning of the process, the guys at Drusilla were undoubtedly the most honest and fair--and fair feels like an understatement. They worked with me on cost, were transparent about every part of the process, and essentially rebuilt the entire front of my car within a few days. After I picked it up, some things still felt a little off, and they took it back twice (free of charge) to get it exactly right, never making me feel bad for asking that of them after all the time they had already put in. There aren't enough mechanics like the ones Drusilla Car Care and I'm thankful I found them.

For years I hated bringing my car to any repair place. I finally found a place where I feel comfortable with the work and the price. Malcolm breaks down the charges so I can see what everything costs. He tries to keep parts and labor down which I appreciate. My 2008 RAV 4 has had the water pump replaced. Only took one day. He also does oil changes and breaks in a timely manner. He is accessible by phone to answer any questions. Malcolm is professional, humble and hard working. He has my business.
