Mr. Shawn was awesome! Give me an ETA every 15 mins. He also cared about my safety and well-being. He was 100,000% the best tow truck driver I have ever encountered. This place unprofessional the owner was rude to my driver. He protray this very tuff persona. My driver ask questions he got angry. My bill $3,400 dollars for airline. No air going to the trailer. My driver & owner had verbal dispute. Never use this dump!! NTTS needs to remove them. Very unprofessional. There's things I wouldn't mention this moron has going on there. Don't use this place. I urge you from the . Avoid them if you're a certified trucker. I been trucking over 20 years horrible experience.

This is by far the best Towing Service I have engaged with. My 2013 Nissan Pathfinder was in need of tires & rotation as well as an oil changed. My interaction was with Mr. Puckett who gave me top notch service from beginning to end @ an affordable price. RECEIVED THE BEST SERVICE EVERY!!! I was stranded on the side of the road, late one night. Me being alone, I know I needed help and I needed it fast. So I called my roadside assistance service, I was told they would send someone out. From prior roadside assistance, I figured that I was going to be there for hours. So I was preparing to have someone pick me up and leave the vehicle. To my surprise, Downtown Towing Services arrived very quickly. The driver provided me with the best service every, which was very quick and efficient. I was back on the road so quick that I could not believe it. I would recommend Downtown Towing Services to everyone, I know because they have proven to be the best towing service in town.

This is by far one of the worst companies I ve dealt with. They were called out by my roadside assistance. Roadside assistance paid for the tow, but shortly after scheduled, I was called by the owner and told I d have to pay an extra $125 for me to be a priority. I agreed to do so and was told I would pay once my vehicle was dropped off safe at my home. As soon as the tow truck arrived to my vehicle I was called back by the Very Very rude owner. After making the payment via debit card by phone, he then text the driver 3 minutes later to leave my vehicle because I canceled the towing. Unbelievable!!!! They tried to take my money and leave me stranded. However, after talking to the driver which was a friendly guy, they took my vehicle home. On the ride home, I gained plenty of information on the company as to how they treat not only their customers, but the staff. They made me aware that they even go without pay sometimes bc the owner doesn t pay them. From the very moment I spoke to the owner, he was as rude as Ive ever dealt with. I have no clue as to how they re still in business after scamming so many people. These reviews speak for themselves. Please do not use this company at all if you want to be treated as a human being.

Downtown rowing responded quickly to towing our car in for repairs . The young lady that answers the phone struggled to provide information our vehicle . I gave my phone number initially and again when I called requesting a repair estimate. Apparently she relayed the wrong number to the owner Eddie whom when I finally got to talk to him rambled on about trying to call me for two days . After finally being able to get a word in I informed him that he was calling the wrong number for two days . Customer service is not one of their strong points . I paid over $500 for a tow and starter replacement.

BEST RV SERVICE!! I definitely recommend Downtown towing to other fellow campers. the owner Eddie (who is also a U.S. Veteran) was absolutely heaven sent! Their team is very knowledgeable and detailed with their work. One of, if not the best roadside service I ve ever received. I greatly appreciated how they would call to check up on us and an update on the ETA. It had started as a frustrating situation but, when Eddie arrived, he was quickly able to really cheer us up, cracking jokes and making light of the situation. Not only did they fix the problem but, they made sure to check everythingggg else was good to ensure our safe trip from FL to TX. I can t thank you guys enough! I wish there were more people like Eddie and his team in customer service. Thank you and God bless y all!!

Extremely rude. The owner went off on me simply because I asked how long do you think it will be. He went off, highly pitched as if he was talking to a disobedient child. I d rather pay more then be treated this way

Highly recommend this company for your towing/recovery needs. Wait time was under 20 minutes in traffic and rain, Mike, the truck driver, was very friendly and took heed of my vehicle concerns, and was able to get me back on the road quickly!! Great job Downtown Towing!! Thank you so much!!

Towing company is very unreliable, I ve called them and they said they would arrive in 30-45 mins . A hour later I called back and he says 30 more mins . I asked him why is it taking so long and would it be any longer than the time promised . He than got upset and called the driver and they both were on the phone yelling and said if you want your car towed right now you ll have to pay $160 vs the previous price they told me $95. Despite the low inquire at the beginning, I wouldn t recommend this company . Used another company after employee was bashing me about THEIR inconsistency of time

Called for roadside assistance through my insurance company to this place and they never showed up. Called them 5 times, the insurance people called them 5 times, no answer. Ended up canceling with them and using a different service. If you want people you can't get in touch with and freeze in your car while you wait for no one to show up, pick downtown towing services!

My vehicle broke down less than 2miles from this company on a Friday afternoon. I contacted my roadside assistance to get a tow to a mechanic shop. This tow company left me sitting in a not so good neighborhood for 2 and a half hours. When I contacted them to find out what was taking so long, I was disrespected and belittled by a very rude lady who acted like I was a huge annoyance in her otherwise wonderful day. I would suggest that if you want to be treated like a human being, you might want to call another company. This company needs to learn better customer service!

Down town towing Is a great company. I just want to thank them because they did everything professionally and the driver was very nice. Even doh I was in a bad situation and stuck on the side of the road the office ladies kept me up to date with my tow. When the driver came he took care of everything and made sure I got to my car shop on time.

Wow...wow...wow! Downtown Towing provided me with such great stellar customer service. The tow truck driver was professional and courteous. I placed the call and less than ONE hour my vehicle was safely returned. If I could have video how she...Rebecca maneuvered the vehicle in and around my other vehicle it was AWESOME! I highly recommend her to all who may be in need of towing service. God speed and mercies Rebecca.

PLEASE BE AWARE!! Do not use this company! This has been my 2nd and final time dealing with Downtown Towing (Only because my insurance always send them) I called at 7PM to request towing and it s now 1:02AM and I am literately sitting in my car in the middle of nowhere waiting on a Uber to bring me home. I pray my car be safe out here. This is horrible and as stated in the many other reviews YES THE OWNER IS TERRIBLE!! Please don t take the risk!

We got a truck sent to pickup a car, they told me that it would be there in 20 minutes , so I left work to wait for them where the car was. They kept calling me and texting me that the truck would be there in 20 minutes. I sat in the parking lot for 4 hours waiting for them! They charged me for winch service, which I drove the car onto the back of the truck myself, no winch was used. When the guy FINALLY showed up, he had the nerve to tell me that he "accepts cash tips"! I called them up to get my money back for the winch that I didn't need, they sounded like they didn't believe me, and took my information down only to never be contacted. Never use this service please, they do not deserve to be in business!!

If you want affordable, quality service with a personal touch, come here!!!!This business was selected by my insurance company for towing to another mechanic. My insurance company dropped the ball MANY times with the service request; however everyone at DTT took care to resolve the issues seamlessly. Iris made the process so much easier for me that I allowed them to repair my car (starter went out). When I went to pick up my car the next day, all the repairs had been done, including new front brakes, and the mechanic vacuumed my car!!!! The owner Eddie sat down with me to go over my charges (which were very affordable), the women managing the office updated me throughout the process and went above and beyond take care of me, and the mechanics thoroughly explained the repairs to me. I couldn't ask for more.

Truck set three day for def pump. Employee had real nasty attitude. Owner lied to my company but owner was on the line with me and stop him told him he hears the whole exchange. Left my spear key he refused to return it stay away. All this was doing the bad freeze sad that you cant do good business with the locals where you from. Took my truck to slidell to Empire and was fix and rolling 24 hours later. Eddie is not a good person has no respect just want you equipment on the property so he can sit on it and charge you for it sitting.STAY AWAY !

They were professional and very friendly. I needed a tow from a parking garage, which is no easy task, but my driver Cedro got it done with ease and no issues. Would recommend this company to anyone needing a tow.

I called 4 different towing services. Downtown was the last service I called and he was the first to arrive. I was rushing to get to my son's baseball game and Eddie towed my car, delivered it, and took a photo of my vehicle parked in front of the repair shop which he text to me on a Saturday. He went over and above the service I expected. I highly recommend Downtown Towing!

These guys were great! Super friendly and there in a Flash had me out of there and on the road to where I made my appointment which I thought was going to be impossible! I highly recommend them as a long-haul trucker who uses Road repair quite often. I wish they all were as good as these guys!!!Service: TiresService: Tires

Absolute rip off DO NOT USE PLEASE. I know I should have skipped them when I read all the negative reviews but they ware the only ones that could come out to do a roadside service call or at least thats what they said. 3 hours late on the arrival and then leave for over an hour to get a air line that needed to be replaced. They charged me 277$ for the part and total $843 for a simple repair. WILL NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. Liars straight liars man you can tell when talking to them that they are full of it.Service: Engine repair

What a godsend these guys turned out to be! Our camper decided to have catastrophic brake failure in Baton Rouge when we were on our way home to Georgia from Texas. We needed to get the camper towed to Camping World (40 miles away). These guys are the only people who answered their phone on a Sunday. They were there as soon as they could get to us and we were able to make it to Camping World before they closed. That included having to stop and pull one of the tires due to it locking up. The driver was wonderful and was able to stay calm in a very frustrating situation. They even went so far as to make sure that we knew what Camping World needed to check on the brakes, tires, etc so that once it is fixed we should be able to get it back to GA.It was also wonderful to learn they are veterans as my husband and a good chunk of my family are veterans. I would highly recommend anyone stuck in Baton Rouge to call this company. Especially on a Sunday since they are the only ones that work on Sunday.

This place is a chop shop. Don t let them tow your car. It s a racket to get your money. Towed my car for a battery. Instead of taking it to the dealership like I requested they took it to their ghetto fabulous shop. The owner is rude unprofessional and by the way thinks all people in Louisiana are stupid . His words not my. I pray to God he is not able to hustle another tow. Reported him to the roadside service because they should not use them. I can t believe that city police have a contract with him.I will be reaching out to them next.

extremely rude and unpolite from the beginning of the phone call. There is no way anyone should answer a business phone the way I was greeted. there is no way to even given them a star because that would be much too kind. you can clearly tell that the young lady that answered the phone did not care about her job. and im sure the owner of this establishment would not be happy as well. why would I trust them with my vehicle if I cant have a professional conversation with them.

RUDE RUDE RUDE! Is it possible to give no stars?! Stated they would arrive in 90 min. After that time I call and I m told another 30 (with an attitude.) So I disconnected the call. The girl calls back to argue with me about hanging up on her. Long story short, I went with another service.

Call in on a employee that was driving reckless out in the rain at that! And the guy that answered the phone acted very annoyed with me until I reminded him that those tow trucks have $500,000 insurance policies on them and the clueless company ower will be responsible NOT YALL EMPLOYEES so I see why yall could careless. But other then that I can't speak on the towing service itself cause I never dealt with them so I just met the stars half way.
