Man these guys getting 5 stars from me. It was my 1st time ever to use them and they did a great job so far. The manager was absolutely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I do believe the mechanics are also knowledgeable and i will absolutely call them 1st if I m in need of transmission work in the future.

Mr Billy at Budget Transmission in Baton Rouge did an outstanding job for us. Very Honest and very fast service. He has great knowledge on transmissions. The communication was excellent and very professional. I would recommend Budget Transmission to all because of his quality work and Honesty. Thank you Mr Billy.

I don't know what to say beyond Billy being honest, responsive, courteous and trustworthy. I put before him a task that others would not consider. I dealt with Billy over the phone from Minnesota about a transmission problem with my daughters car in Baton Rouge. Billy stepped up where others failed! He called me often to appraise me of the status, of what finally became a rebuild of the original transmission.He even went to the point of placing on a skid the faulty transmission I purchased so it could be returned to where it was purchased. I would highly recommend Budget Transmission for any transmission service. He made me feel comfortable. God Bless him.

This review does not reflect any actual work done by Budget because it did not even make it to that stage I called to explain my situation relative to my transmission on Toyota RAV4 and was told they needed to know the type of transmission because Toyota used several different types So after I called a few dealerships I was able to give my vin to find out the exact type of transmission When I called budget back to give them the ID code for the transmission, they told me they did work on that type of transmission but it was going to cost me $4,000 for everything And this was before they even looked at the vehicle.Needless to say I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling, but rather a feeling like there was blood in the water Infested by sharks.After due diligence, I was able to find a competitor in Caps transmission that I brought my vehicle to and they hooked up diagnostics, drove it, examined it, and although The transmission was indeed bad, their price was almost half of what budgets was and would not charge me a dime for their time and equipment to diagnose! Super nice, honest, and they only want to do what is necessary.So as I stated previously this review is not about work specifically performed by budget, but more about why we never made it to that stage.It s hard for me to imagine why somebody would call themselves budget anything if they are high dollar everything!

Very good service, and they stand behind their service. I had a transmission rebuilt last September and it started acting up. They took it back in and made it a priority. Now it's perfect!
