Kentucky Collision did an amazing job with my '11 Challenger R/T! The last ice storm that came through left a mark on my vehicle. I had some bad hail dents and my stripes were damaged/scratched. Zack and the General Manager went above and beyond my expectations! My vehicle looks better than it did before!

What a joke. Zero communication, zero customer service. If they treated all their customers the way they treated me they would be out of business. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I called to see about getting my car repaired and the lady I spoke to told me to email the quote to Kris Adam s and he would get back with me. I did that on Jan 8 and never got a reply so I stopped in a couple days later to see when they could repair my car. Talked to Zackary and Kris. We went over the photos and Zackary made some notes on the estimate I had emailed them earlier in the week. He gave me a business card and wrote on the back of it Feb 15th repair date . So I get my rental car lined out and was waiting at 8am on the 15th to drop off the car to be repaired. I go inside and talk to the lady (very friendly) and she looks on the computer and doesn t see my name anywhere so she calls Kris Adams to ask him. He comes in and asks me if I m here for photos. I said no you already saw the pics and we set a date to drop off for repairs. He said oh, I don t have any photos it ll be at least 2 weeks and your parts are probably on back order. I said you re kidding, right? I was in here over a month ago to get this scheduled for repairs, went over photos and the estimate and all you can say is I don t have any photos . Kris Adams is a joke. No apology. No explanation. Just a I don t have photos . That s crappy customer service in my opinion. He could not have cared less about the entire situation. All the while Zackary sitting at his desk listening but not saying a word. Basically playing dumb. Meanwhile I m taking time off work to deal with this joker and wasting money on a rental that I didn t even need because they can t run a business. Needless to say they won t be fixing my car. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

Outstanding, flawless repair. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to get my Van back in a timely manner. Hopefully, I won't need their services again any time soon, but if I do I will not hesitate to go back to them again. Just great customer service and job performance. Shout out to Ben , Zack and Haley for making this a painless experience!

I highly recommend this collision repair shop/ body shop, the service quality was truly exceptional. I was rear ended suffering damages all around my vehicle, Ben and his team did a fantastic job replacing all body parts needed and with the paint job as well perfect paint match. They have even performed repairs that were not part of the original estimate at their own expense, they have gone above and beyond what any other shop would have, customer service is their top priority i am very grateful to Ben and his team if you need any type of work done do not hesitate this is by far the best shop you ll come across KY collision center Richmond.

Absolutely do not recommend took our car for a paint repair got it back with the a-pillar halfway off with wires hanging out an wrapped around the rearview mirror not sure why they was taking the inside apart because the windshield didn t have to come out because it wasn t a full paint job so confused at what they was trying to prove and the worst part is they left the lug nuts loose on the passenger front wheel also not sure why they even took the wheel off? They do not have the experience or craftsmanship they claim to have please do not take your car there because my wife and kids was almost in an accident due to their negligence.

I had my car s hail damage repaired over three months ago. They did a fair job overall, however the communication was poor and they got the inside of my car very dirty, didn t hang the rear view mirror properly, didn t connect the front wipers to the fluid reservoir, and most angering of all ran the wire to my rear dash cam between the b-pillar and headliner/airbag smashing the cable in doing so. If you care about things like the white dust being all over the interior, rear view mirror, windshield washer, and dash cam working then do not take your vehicle here.

Excellent workmanship, but the constant trouble I had trying to get them to communicate with me was inexcusable. Bottom line, our car looks great and we appreciate the care taken for our car, but the failures at the customer service desk will prevent me from returning.

They did a good job, but it took 2 1/2-3 months to get my pickup truck back. They said it was due to parts, but it does make me wonder if they subcontracted out the work? Parts would be the excuse i used as well if it was me, i even drove by there once to see if it was being worked on, i couldn't find it but thats not to say it wasn't there. When I dropped it off, their entire facility was packed with vehicles, like lucky to find a parking spot type of full. When I picked it up, it whi uas a ghost town it been so long. But I'm still happy with the repairs and would recommend them.

Sent my wife to get an estimate due to hail damage. I have used them in the past and they did a pretty good job. This time they wouldn t event talk to her. Turned her away. Wouldn t quote the repairs at all.Responding to KY Collision- I would understand scheduling a time for her to come in for an estimate. However, when our insurance company recommended your business your estimator turned my wife away stating that you don t work with our insurance. When she pressed and asked for a cash on delivery quote they continued to refuse. There was no explanation other than you don t do cash invoices (I can understand that) and that you don t work with our insurance (They wear khakis). There were no other options or explanations given. Must be nice to have enough business to turn away a guaranteed job. On another note- I was able to get a quote for my vehicle from another facility on a walk in, in under 15 minutes.

Update:The rating was a one star but I changed it to a 4 star. I called the manager and he was very understanding and offered to help me personally. I really appreciated it.------------------------------------------------I went into their shop one day just get an estimate of possible repairs on my car due to a collision with an animal. The reception had told me that they didn't accept my insurance which was fine because I was willing to pay out of pocket. Then I was told that the guy that did estimates was completely booked. I'm looking at her like this is the only guy in this big facility that does estimates? Then I was told that no one in Richmond would accept my insurance which again wasn't the problem. Then the reception told me that I could go to Green's Toyota in Lexington. I did not take her recommendations and I was able to be seen down the street at Firestone. The whole situation made me feel that she did not want to help me at all.

Kentucky Collision Center did an excellent job on the repairs to my Jeep. After my wreck they worked with my insurance company to ensure all damages resulting from the accident where repaired. I got zero communication, I had to call continuously to get updates. When I picked up my car there were thing that were not fixed or reinstalled correctly. They fixed them without complaint, but they shouldn't have been passed to me to begin with. Especially after my car was there for a month.

Revising my review after KYC took care of my issue. Originally they had damaged the car during a warranty repair. I was made to pay for it initially but they came back and reimbursed me for the difference. Wish I had not gone through it in first place, and would have rather been dealt with at the point of service. However, they took care of me and that's what matters. I do recommend KYC due to their quality of service and they listen to their customers after the fact.Service: Body & Trim

I take back everything I ve said nice about this business. Do NOT use. They won t give estimates without the insurance company assigning them the claim first. Their team basically threw me out when I asked for an explanation of that. The point of an estimate is to get a ballpark range of costs before any work is done. You do not get the work and then provide an estimate. That s not how it works. 0 stars. Do NOT use. It won t let me post without giving them one star, but it is not awarded in my opinion.Service: Painting

I dropped my car off and was very impressed with the quality of the facility and the friendly staff. However, a 1.5 week job estimate has now turned into 3.5 weeks without my car (unless they push it back for a THIRD time). Both times they've pushed my timeline back, I was only informed because *I* called THEM to ask for an update. I'm extremely frustrated and will never use this place in the future.

Don and everyone at KCC have been an incredible help after my van was totaled during my family vacation. They not only took care of my van but they helped find a rental for our family to continue with our vacation and gave us a place to hang out while we waited for the rental to arrive... 4 hours later! We will be singing the praises of Kentucky Collision Center for many years to come!

They mislead or lied about the rental coverage, took way too long and the door they replace makes a metallic click after repair that wasn't there before. Informed them and I was told the rubber was missing on the lock but they used all the parts from the source door. I paid and discovered that they actually charge insurance for services they didn't do because they didn't repair the door but instead replaced. This place is dishonest, either incompetent or purposefully deceptive and will not see my business agin.Salesperson: PaulJun1st: Called @ 12:46 pm to ensure they could receive the truck and were willing to repair it. Informed it could not steer. I was told yes7th: Automatic Text message system: Asked for permission to text8th: Automatic Text message system: Repairs on time for 18th completion11th: Automatic Text message system: At halfway mark14th Automatic Text message system: Nearly completed15th: Automatic Text message system: Completion time changed to July 0215th: 3:25 pm KCC-Paul Called me: Discuss vehicle not starting nor steering, they cant work on it like this. Suggested to have the dealer look at it, KCC cant know the cost. Was also told to ignore text message as they don't really work15th: 4:06 pm Myself called KCC: To authorized tow to the dealer for diagnostics17th: 2:20 pm Myself called KCC: Asked if the vehicle had been towed to dealer, was told no. Canceled authorization to transport to the dealer and paid for tow truck out of pocket to have the truck towed to me for repair18th: Drove the truck to KCC and dropped it off after I repaired steering and starting. Problems where the busted hydro-boost hose and faulty starter18th: Paul told me, "Rest easy, the rental will be covered. Geico and us see this all the time but they are well aware and stay in the rental. I'll give them a call and get it sorted out"21st: I called KCC: let Paul know the rental was now past due and Geico said they would not cover it. Paul asked for a "chance to make it right". That he would get ahold of Geico. I gave him till 22JUN end of the day22nd: 4:20 pm I called KCC (they close at 5 pm): Spent 10 mins on hold after they asked who I needed. Paul stated he could not get ahold of Geico and to "Please give him a chance to make it right" I said one more day23rd: I called KCC: Paul informed me they would NOT cover the rental. He talked to his manager and they will not pay for it. He also talked to Geico and they will not pay for it.July12th: KCC called me: Paul tells me the truck is almost done, should be ready for pickup 13th at end of the day.13th: 2:22 pm I called KCC: Asked if the truck was on schedule for pickup at end of the day, was told yes.13th: Picked truck up at 5:25 pm, Paul did stay late (they close at 5 pm) to pickup vehicle.

We took our SUV by (without an appointment), not expecting to receive any service, but Amy took our vehicle right back and with minutes we were on our way. I truly believe any other collision center would have made the repair a big deal and charge a big deal. They were great. This is not the first time we have used them, nor will it be our last.

I hope you never have to visit them but if you're reading this review this is the place you want to do your repairs. Unfortunately we had to bring our Platinum F150 to them twice. First was a cracked rear bumper and then a few months ago severe damage to the entire right side. Their attention to detail and customer service is first rate. They noticed that the paint color was slightly off. We didn't realize it and it was so small that we probably never would. But they did and pointed it out and corrected it. I'm sorry you need a collision center but at least there's an excellent one right here in Richmond that you can trust to do the repairs and do it right. Kentucky Collision in Richmond is worth the drive if you're outside the Richmond area.

I had a great experience with them. After I was rear ended they dealt with the insurance company directly and even did extra work at my request. Quality work, quick turnaround, easy to communicate with.
