I was rear-ended on I 65 and transported to to hospital. Shepherdsville police had this company tow my car. I talked to them from the hospital informing them that it would be a while before I could come up and get the car/my stuff out of it. The person that hit me had no insurance so between multiple Dr visits for my injuries and missed work it took me a while to scrap up the money to get another car In the meantime without any of my knowledge they had added fees everyday and I had amassed a bill well in excess of $1000 and they couldn't find my car. A day after this I got a call saying the found it but I had to pay a minimum of $200 to get my stuff out of it. I told them then they could just scrap the car and asked if they needed the title and was told no they would handle it. Today I got a letter saying they put a lean on it for $2500 and were going to sell it and anything they didn't get from selling it they were going to sue me for. Thanks for kicking me in the teeth while I'm down.

I had to leave a 1 star because it s not possible to leave zero stars. I called them at like 5:30 in the morning to tow my car and they took three hours before they called me to tell me that my car was stolen and gone. They didn t even know where it was at despite all the directions I gave them over multiple phone. My family and I spent almost 2 hours calling around tow company s and the police to find it. MY CAR WAS NOT STOLEN. It was in the same exact place I left it almost 5 hours earlier when I made the call to have it towed. Then when I finally got a different company to tow my car they showed up and said that they were going to charge me for a dry run. They charged me $51 for something they didn t do. The charge doesn t bother me as much as the fact that there was never any apology given to me for the panic they caused or for the fact that they didn t even look in the right spot for it

Completely unprofessional driving and driving way to fast for conditions. It's pouring down rain and your speeding doing 80+ mph. It's so slick. Aa a wrecker you should know better. Then flashing your lights and acting a fool to those driving safe. It's completely unprofessional. If you have an emergency you still have to get there in safe manor. It's doesn't give permission to drive crazy tailgating and endangering other drivers!

Rip off, they dont care about people. They. Say lies about cars as they are nothing close to truth to sell them. The main guy makes sure he isnt there when you are to be meeting him. Dont use sservice for anything as they only care about money not person.

Terrible place. I sold my bike and whoever bought it never put it in their name so I did an incomplete transfer with DMV. The woman tried to tell me they got my info from the dmv so I called the dmv and they said no she didn t. They can find who the last registered owner was but if the person you sale it to doesn t register it they send the bill to last person. So I told her all this and she hung up. Terrible business.

Troy's Wrecker Service did us right in a time of need. The company and driver were very professional and compassionate about our situation. We broke down Thanksgiving day in Shepherdsville KY 200 miles from home and Troy's wrecker service got us home and did not take advantage of the situation when figuring the price. The price was fair and they came right to us and brought us and our jeep home. This company is top notch and the driver very professional respectful and took care of our vehicle the entire trip. Clean trucks, clean driver and was a good ride home. We can honestly say all experiences in those 2 days made it the best Thanksgiving we have had in a long time. Thank you Troy's wrecker service for what you do and how you run your buisness.

You get what you give. Show up act polite be prepared to pay cash only you will have a pleasant experience. Do not show up all angry and entitled you will probably not have a pleasant experience.

These people r stealing people's cars it's highway robbery,They r really rude people for no reason and don't really take time to hear anything u have to say besides here's my debit card that's the only way they would deal with me is if I paid the so called bill

This business goes above and beyond to help their customers. I was able to get a sick Jeep towed to a shop during one of the busiest days. I called everyone. No one could come. I hadn't heard of Troy's. I have now. They came quickly and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Good if u want to learn how to tow vehicles. But if ur an experienced driver u wont make any money. Most likely minimum wage. They lie to new employees saying that they will make a whole lot of money. But the truth is they r way below on average related to other companies who pay 30 to 35% commission, they r only paying 25%.

MY RANGER P/U WAS STOLEN RECOVERED HILLVIEW KY TOWED TO PIONEER VILLAGE ABOUT 5 MILES AT BEST CHARGED ME 385.00 FROM FRIDAY TO MONDAY THEY ARE CLOSED ON WEEKEND HOW CONVIENT. THEN CHARGED ME 85.00 TO TOW IT 15 MILES HOME HWY ROBBERY WOULD NEVER CALL THEM . FOR ANYTHING PERIOD

Well I was driving Lyft had a blowout. I used troys covered by my insurance company. These guys are awesome, hit a animal in Southern Kentucky, I live in Northern Indiana, had my 10 year old daughter with, they towed my car and us back to indiana in the middle of the night and turned a horrible situation into a enjoyable fun ride home. Troy s illegally removed my legally parked vehicle from a public road at the request of a spiteful neighbor. No questions asked, they just came and got it. I thought my vehicle had been stolen, so I deleted it and have been looking for it for 2 weeks. Insurance was about to pay on my claim when I found out Troy s had been in possession of my vehicle the whole time. I ve been without my vehicle for two weeks, and the only paperwork Troy s would produce was an invoice for $465. My battery was dead when they finally released it to me, and they declined to help with the jump. My only legal recourse is to take them to small claims court.Mrs. Becky at the window does her job well and kindly offered me cold water while I waited for roadside assistance to arrive.Service: Car towing

I am so mad my son had all paperwork to get his Vehicle out today and this place gave him so much hell. He had money in hand and registration and after sitting in their parking lot 30 mons before they closed and still wouldn't release his vehicle.. They told him to come back Monday knowing they were charging him more money for it being there. And their website is full of it.. It does not say wrecker Service 24 hrs it literally states they are opened 2hrs. It is all about making money off the unfortunate people in this World. The only want to charge people more money than what they should. Plus why the heck does anyone have to have a appointment to get their vehicle back makes no sense at all... Oh wait it is just another way to take more money from people... This place makes me sick....

We have a steep driveway, our truck slid down on the ice and ended up on our retaining wall. We called Troy's, they were highly recommended by our insurance company. Brent came out and was very professional, and skilled. He was able to get the truck off the wall without damaging truck or retaining wall. I would give them a zero if it was a option. They wrongfully towed my car on Friday when I called Friday to get it they said I would have to wait until Monday. 3:00 Monday after I emailed them all the paperwork they tell me I have to come back tomorrow too pick up my vehicle. They said they needed time to get the vehicle ready to be picked up. They have kept it 3 days now. How is this legal?

The driver of the wrecker is not good. Been behind them in the left lane in traffic and theyre holding everyone up and brake checking people on the interstate. Wouldn't do business with these inconsiderate drivers.

I have old cars, so I have used Troy's multiple times. Roadside assistance through my insurance provider and customer pay, they have always been courteous and prompt. In the single case that the tow was delayed, they politely kept me informed. The best part is my cars were always handled with care. Thank you.

This company deserves zero stars!!! I called yesterday at 9 am to pick my car up from my house. The car would not start and I needed to get it tolled. My insurance company recommended them because Troy's will bill them rather than the customer.. I called through out the day and was told emergencies come first. I was told at 2 pm that the wrecker was 5 miles away. I called back at 330 and was told that the wrecker was sent to a police call and I could be put back on the list again. HORRIBLE customer service as well as wrecker service. I contacted another service this morning and the service was awesome. You guys need to change your recording. Its very deceiving

Troy's wrongfully towed a vehicle from a lot (where it was allowed to be) after receiving a call from another party located nearby. contact information for the vehicle was clearly available and not once were we contacted when the vehicle was picked up. Once we were informed of the vehicle being gone, troy's wouldn't even allow us to get in the glove box to grab the registration to show proof of ownership. They now want over $700 for the car that they didn't even have the proper authority to take possession of.Beware of using this company.

Towed my car at 5:30am because my sticker said my tags were expired but if they would have looked it up like they re supyto they would have known my tags were not expired, anyone can peel a sticker off. Then when we called at first they said they didn t have my car so I called the cops and they said they had it so we called again and then they suddenly realized they did have it. William the truck driver was rude on the phone, the owner said he would call my dad and never did, so I called them and William yelled at me and said we didn t need to speak to the owner and that it would do no good and he wouldn t speak to us. Went to pick up my car and the fees were $140 for storage and no key fee because they took it in the middle of the night and without the keys it s harder to steal. They took it on Sunday at 5:30am and we re about to not give it to us until Monday because they said they don t work on Sundays to give people their cars back. And if we had picked it up on Monday it would have been another $30. I do not recommend. Their business is very sketchy and disrespectful.

Troy's Wrecker Service has failed me two times.First a few years ago during a cold snap where the temperature was below zero for several days, I was parked on the second level of a parking garage and my car wouldn't start. My State Farm contracts with Troy's for roadside assistance. When I called Troy's, I explained that my car was in a parking garage, that a smaller tow truck was required and gave the ceiling height. Three days and six tow trucks later, I ended up pushing my car out onto the street and a friend called AAA. for me. Each driver was very rude and did not offer to call the office to explain they couldn't help and to send a smaller truck to help.Second, I was leaving a friend's house on a Sunday morning after a 6 AM workout class and my battery was dead. When I called Troy's, the receptionist said that they didn't have a driver come on the clock until 10 AM. So, much for 24-hour service. I asked to be put on the list for a driver to come out and in the meantime, I'd try to jump it myself. At 10 AM, I called back to see where I was on the list, the receptionist said that she didn't put me on the list and now there were a bunch of people in front of me. I re-explained that I till needed help. She said that she'd call me back a few minutes later with a driver's ETA. Troy's must be really busy because it is now Wednesday and I still haven't gotten a call back with an ETA. Thankfully, I was able to get the car started myself.I'm not one to leave reviews but Troy's has failed me two times now. Call someone else if you need roadside assistance.
