What a great experience. Coming from a tire and repair shop background myself. I fully appreciate the timely professional service I received from Palmer Tire. I called at 8 am and set an appointment for 10 am. Same day service! Almost unheard of in today's world.I will definitely return when there are repairs I can't handle myself.Excellent job, quick service. Just under 2 hours for 4 tires and an alignment that was performed perfectly. My little car drives so much better!

Palmer Tire is a friendly and very professional tire company, has a great selection of tires, and can do most mechanical repairs needed. Alignments are 95.00, and most places charge at least 150.00. Their technicians are well trained, and know what their doing can't go wrong with Palmer Tire, located on Southland Dr,Lexington Kentucky, just had my daughter's car alignment done at Palmer Tire done a great job, highly recommend.

Got off work and had a nail in my tire, went to two other places that couldn t help me. Took it to Palmer tire and the fixed my tire right up. Customer service was great and prices very reasonable.

I cannot say enough good things about these folks. They have always treated me fairly and never once did I feel work was done unnecesssarily. I have taken many different makes and models of vehicle to them over the last 20 years and never left unsatified with their work. Thank you Brian and Wayne!

A family run business that is run incredibly efficient. Prices are very reasonable. I think that having so many years in the business, they know what they are doing and exactly how long it will take to make the repairs on your vehicle. Oh, did I forget to mention that they are not just a tire shop, but a group of great mechanics!

Buying tires ugh, as a single woman not knowing anything about tires it was nice to deal with not only nice but competent and honest mechanics. Could have over sold me but didn t. This is now my new car hospital!

I took my car for a small repair and they did it quickly and didn t even charge me. My dad loves this place because they are very reliable and do good quality work. He does all his car maintenance work with them and can t say enough good things about them.

I came to Palmer needing two tires patched and the drain on my sunroof unclogged. Another shop had quoted me 200$ just to have the drain done, so when I picked up my car I was expecting to hand over a small chunk of cash. Palmer Tire did not even charge me to clear the drain, and less than 60$ to get the two tires patched. I could have cried tears of joy when the man behind the counter read me my total. Would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable work at a great price.

Toyota on Nicholasville said they could not patch my tire (2023 Camry) and would need a new tire for $393.26.Palmer tire easily removed the roofing nail and patched it for $29.95!

I've been going to this location for years and they have never disappointed. You know that feeling when you are expecting to spend hundreds of dollars on new tires but you end up with a $29 surprise? That's why I keep going back.

Palmer Tire has been my auto service center for the last ten plus years. They have always taken great care of all my automotive needs. I trust them completely. I wouldn't consider going any place for service. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs and wants an honest and extremely competant automotive service center.

Palmer has worked on my car several times for less than other shops would charge to even make a diagnosis. Incredible service that they stand behind. Regarding craftsmanship, customer service, price-They are simply the best in town. Thanks again!

I have been to Palmer Tire 3-4 times over the past 2-3 years and have always received professional and friendly service. I do most of my own work on my cars but when I get stuck, I need someone to point me in the right direction. Yesterday they had me fixed and on the road for a reasonable price and in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks Guys!

If you need a wheel alignment best take it somewhere else they left my jam nut loose and my sleeve to my tie rod end was stripped called said they don t care won t do anything about it great service ! What a joke

I've taken 3 cars there for mechanical work over the last 4 months and each time I was very satisfied. Prices are half that of dealerships, service is great, and turnaround time great. They tell you what you need and don't need and why. They never try to up-sell. It appears that honesty and superior customer service are driving philosophies. I haven't purchased tires from, but based on what I've seen so far, I will go there first when I do.

I used to take my car here when they were S&S Tire and felt they did a decent job, but they ve really gone downhill over the years. One time, I went in because my brakes were making noises and they said they fixed them, but the car continued to make noises. I took it back to them and they basically told me that s normal. So I got used to it and carried on, thinking that s just how my car was going to have to be. It wasn t, because I just had another shop fix my brakes and they re now silent.The next time I was there I went in for a simple oil change and not only did they bend my hood, they also lost a screw that held it in place, forgot to turn off the maintenance light like I asked them to, AND they forgot to give me the sticker that showed my mileage and when my next oil change was due. The worst part is I felt like I was bothering them by speaking up about all this.Just a few days ago I went back to have my car evaluated and they wanted to charge me for things I wasn t sure needed to be done. Remembering their service previously I went to a more reputable shop for a second opinion and they thoroughly evaluated everything, and told me those things were unnecessary. Seems Palmer was either careless or just trying to squeeze money out of me. Either way, they lost a longtime customer. You should never leave an auto shop with distrust, wondering if your car has been properly evaluated and taken care of, or if you ve gotten a fair deal. Too many times, that s exactly how I felt.*Edit: Palmer replied to this review claiming they have no records of me bringing my car in and that I'm mistaken. Seriously? This is either a straight up LIE or another example of their carelessness. I''m honestly shocked, and feel even more confidently about my 1 star review. Avoid!

Took my truck in for new tires and alignment, and the alignment still felt funny. I thought no big deal, because I was putting A leveling kit on in a couple of weeks so it would have to be done again. I put the leveling kit on and took it back to get aligned again, and the mechanic said he couldn't do it because cam bolts and tie rods were seized up. So I ask the heavy set gentlemen behind the counter how could the first alignment been done. It got real nasty and said bolts don't always have to be loosened to do an alignment. First off... I'm not an idiot. I took my truck to another shop, and they showed me how it couldn't have an alignment before because of the issue with the bolts being seized up. So they charged me for a service that they did not do, that would have caused costly damage. THEY ARE CROOKS... i looked at their BBB score, it is a C for the same reasons. So I took my pictures from the other shop and my receipt from Palmer tires and filed a complaint with the Kentucky AG office as well as the County Attorney.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Whether it s brakes or an oil change I m always in and out fast. They also take a lot of time to explain my options, and I ve necer felt like they were trying to just sell me stuff. I only go to Palmer now to work on my Tahoe.

Palmer Tire Southland Dr. Lexington Ky.Being a small business, we tend to pull for small businesses. Been doing business a long time there. If u like me and want to go back in time to a local owned garage that knows ur name and gives u advice that s what is best for u, not them. Stop by there. They have saved me so much $ that I feel. Obligated to do all I can to support Palmer Tire.

Bryan and the crew at Palmer Tire are wonderful to work with. The genuinely care about their customers, treat you like family, and work to fix the problem the first time. Next time you need your car serviced, give them a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Only been once, was recommended to me from someone that's gone for years. Handling on my car was weird going fast on interstate. Palmer test drove it, inspected, then test drove again. Other 2 places were not willing to test drive it at all. S&S Tire on Beaumont Circle told me I needed to replace expensive things when I don't. Turned out all it was is tires were way overinflated (my gauge was wrong saying their 32 when really they were 38-40. Palmer did not lie to try to get me to buy anything, and test drove when other places wouldn't. I'll be coming here for my future oil changes/ tire rotation and other car maintenance.

I was in a difficult situation and the guys at Palmer tire really saved my bacon. I stopped overnight in Lexington on my way to Virginia. I had a puncture in my run-flat tire. Another chain tire place said it could not be fixed. I went to Palmer Tire and these guys got me right in and patched the tire. No extra charge for the rush. Just good work. I really appreciate what they did.

I thought it was the starter but it turned out to be the battery. The guys at Palmer were fast, professional, and very friendly. They didn't try to pressure me into additional services and had my car fixed in a flash. I highly recommend them!

I price shop every time I buy tires, but I always end up coming back to this place in the end after the numbers are crunched. (Price per unit quality) Every time I've booked after getting an estimate, their final price matches exactly or gets pretty close. No surprises or up-sell pressure.

We have purchased 3 full sets of tires from Palmer Tires during the last several months for 3 vehicles. Tires on all 3 vehicles were not inflated tocorrect pressure, wheel alignment on my SUV was performed poorly (ifit was done at all) so that I had to take it back for correction after approx. 1200 mile trip with brand new tires and what I THOUGHT was a freshlyaligned set of new tires. Very disappointed over that issue but got it re-solved. However, today my wife took her car there for an oil change andtire rotation...They did NOT rotate her tires but told her they had! I know they did not because I "marked" her tires before she took it to them, (guess you can say I had "trust issues" after my alignment debacle). Shealso mentioned the incorrect inflation and was told that they follow the pressure advised on the label in her car- not so! I know this because Ichecked her tire pressure before she went there and directly after her service visit...the pressure was right back up to 6 pounds more than advised on that label after her appt. I spoke with one of the owners and expressed my unhappiness with the fact that my wife was lied to. The owner explained to me that he could only "go by the work order" that waspresented to him by his technician. He did apologize but I've had to accept an "apology" before from this company. My opinion is that the owner should probably be getting an apology or a darn good explanation from his technician as to why he turned in a work order showing that a rotation was done when it was not!Regardless, they have now seen the last of us, we will do no more business there...and as an afterthought; we have had family members who will no longer do business at Palmer because of disappointing job performance they experienced in the past...they tried to tell us, but we decided to go ahead and give these guys a chance. Sorry, our mistake.I guess we will write this one off to "live and learn". It sure cost us a lot of money to figure out we made a bad decision just trying to support a local business. I believe the owners need to look into a bit better quality controlbefore they lose even more customers.

Bought two new tires from here and they burst and were showing the threading within 2 months. Wheel alignment did not help at all and had to go to another location to get the fix because this place only had a 30 day warranty. Tire discounters has a one-yr warranty for this service. Rude owner. First visit last visit.

DO NOT take your vehicle to Palmer Tire in Lexington KY. 7 weeks ago, we took our daughter s truck there for 2 new tires, a front-end alignment, and an oil change. We just took the truck to our mechanic for engine issues and ended up having to have 4 new ball joints installed because the old ball joints were falling out, one to the point that the truck was almost non-drivable. Our mechanic said we would need an alignment, which I told him was a shame since we just paid for an alignment 7 weeks ago. He was dumb-founded, and he and another mechanic we know both stated there was no way Palmer Tire could have done an alignment with the ball joints falling out. My husband called Palmer Tire and asked to speak with a manager to discuss this, in hopes they may try and "save face" and either offer us a refund or do the new alignment we are now needing at no charge. The manager stated they have been doing this for 40 years and that they could do an alignment with ball joints falling out and said we needed to find a new mechanic. He stated he had the paperwork in front of him and read off what was done. (Well guess what, I can put on paper that I am Queen Elizabeth that doesn't mean I am). My husband stated that they cheated us and got caught. The manager, and note I am stating MANAGER, then cussed my husband and said he would end this s*** now and wouldn t listen to my husband any longer. Needless to say, this upset my husband just a bit, as he is in sales and knows how to treat customers. The customer is always right, and you NEVER cuss a customer. I guess that is not how Palmer Tire handles customer service, though. I took my daughter's truck there because they were the cheapest in town for a front-end alignment. Now I know why. I will NEVER take another vehicle there, and I hope this post saves the next person from being cheated by Palmer Tire in Lexington KY.

First time ever coming here. The staff was friendly and greeted when i came in. I needed 2 tires replaced. They asked if i needed any other work done and i asked for an oil change and to check the alignment. They are pet friendly and have a nice waiting area with tv, coffee and toys for kids. So far im pleased with their work.
